  1. Updated to reflect Everlasting's new record of 2051! Way to go and keep at it.
  2. I won't speak for the developer who made this change, but I was given the impression that any kind of middle ground would be impossible to implement in a timely fashion.
  3. My understanding is players with visual impairments were unable to differentiate between those who were on their team and those who were tagged as "Help Me" role tagged. I noted a suggestion was made prior to the change below and a variation of that suggestion was what was implemented. I have requested an alternative and am confident the developer who made the change is able to find a solution in the future which addresses the new problem that was created by their fix.
  4. The change to role titles was a short term solution to a problem. It created unfortunate changes to other players experience at the expense of addressing said problem. Based on discussions I had before this change went live, I don't see it being reverted. But if the change was as impactful to the player experience as others have pointed out, perhaps that will be incentive enough for the developer who made this change to make more of an effort to compromise instead of making one player's experience less fun than another player.

  9. Realize this is a four five! year old thread, but I wanted to share a great experience I had with @GM Solaceyesterday. I was hosting an event on Indomitable and Solace was kind enough to support it. I was in the middle of transitioning between our daily GM Hunt and the special one year anniversary celebration of the aforementioned event. The league was huge (for Indomitable, this meant 46 players in the first league and 12 in the second league), so I had reason to be concerned about how many players would be able to join us in Echo Plaza. I asked Solace what the player cap was in Echo Plaza, and without a second hesitation, Solace assured me it was higher than the entire population currently on the Indomitable shard. This moment of levity was very appreciated and I laughed out loud. I think a lot of players enjoyed the event, but what I enjoyed the most was that one person made it easier for me to make other players have a good time. So thanks @GM Solace!

  11. More typed damage procs! Not enough Cold damage procs. Cupid's Crush had great design choices. Slot more of the set, thereby increase set's proc (mag/duration/effect).
  12. Mark and Recall for the win! You can use it to teleport multiple escorts at the same time.
  13. Even more so, on a galactic (ha!) scale, Galactus devours worlds to feed the greater universal ecosystem of birth and rebirth, much like a Black Hole devours all matter and then..
  14. *"If the status indicator for a shard is red (3 dots, 1,100+ players) you may only play with a single account." So Excelsior is probably not going to work in that 18 total very frequently, except outside of peak times.
  15. I'll push back a little on this - the game gives the option for all the things you list. It doesn't force it on the player. If IOs are too powerful, players can unequip them. If teaming makes content too easy, players can do it solo. If the benefit of archetypes are higher base/max stats and unique powers(ets), if that makes the game more fun it can be used. Otherwise there's Barrier/Clarion cycles with Judgements rotations on radio missions until there's glaze in the player's eyes. Enemy difficulty goes with this sentiment as well. A Level 1 with no enhancements (or the Fitness pool inherents!) will be defeated by a Level 50 NPC almost every time. A player can stack everything until it's capped and still whiff everything until streakbreaker kicks in, and even then the enemy will only take 1 hp of damage. And even if that enemy is debuffed to its lowest values of stats, it will still not go down any time soon. Maybe attempting this odyssey sounds fun to some, others it's insane or a waste of time. Who cares if the player is having fun. The "left and right limits" as it were, provide a tremendous breadth in difficulty that can be expressed as "roll your face on the keyboard" easy or "sweat inducing heart rate quickening" hard. That seems like the game difficulty is balanced to me.

  21. Just a reminder to all my Indomitable community members, we are about a week (*8 days) away on Thursday, July 31st from 1800 Mountain Time to 1900 Mountain Time in Echo Plaza on Indomitable

While I support both this suggestion and the alternative mentioned regarding contacts giving out their phones when the player initially meets them, the ability to teleport to a contact already exists in game. A player can teleport to an unmet contact by using the Find Contact tab. A player can also teleport directly to the contact when on a Ouroboros story arc as well. Again, I support the idea - I'm just pointing out it can already be done in game (so it would stand to reason that the devs already support this and would just need to implement it in a fashion outlined in the suggestion).
