It's not too late. You can unlock a contact (on both Hero and Villain side) that allows you to pick any Safeguard or Mayhem mission without doing the 5 prerequisite missions. You just select which one you want then you run it. To your second question, yes they count (there is a certain distant that it stops counting though - dunno the distance).

Badge defeat guide says: Typically the best way to fight these is during Mayhem missions. They do appear in some high end redside missions, but some may prefer doing mid level mayhem missions (Brickstown /IP/Talos) for Paragon Police as they are a rather difficult enemy group at higher levels.

There's also Dark Mastery with a Mag 4 Single Target -Immob if you don't want to have to spam it so much.

There's a sweet spot between the number of players and the amount of enemies that can be defeated. I think it's around 24 players.

Updated! Double the number of players we had on Indomitable during our record run, but only 260 more mobs defeated? Did you experience any bugs or issues? We started seeing Elite Bosses spawn less frequently after around 900 defeated.

A Mastermind won't be doing any damage to any target that has any common sense. In a team environment, Masterminds are irrelevant outside of target saturation to confuse "TAB" tageters, but when there are dedicated target callers on a team that becomes moot. Masterminds aren't putting out damage that is relevant, that is, contributing to a team spike that can't be outhealed or Jaunted away from - they're getting in some annoying disruption that may or may not support team play at most. In a zone environment, who cares just go the other direction and let the Mastermind do nothing.

The name release got me one I thought worked better for the character. Went from 'Bone Snap' to 'Bone Saw' a Dark Armor/Battle Axe Tanker.

I bet there's some sweet extra content on the blu-ray. I watched it on streaming 4k, but I don't think Disney gave it the full bit rate. Another reason to buy the Blu Ray!

Beta Tester can be self granted on the beta shard using the /badgegrant command. It can be set as the player badge title, but won't show up in the badge window or count towards the total. Finally got around to watching this on the streaming service Disney runs. I liked it, lots of fun fan service but pretty basic plot. I really liked the Green Day credits b-roll of all the 20th Century Fox actors and archival footage from decades ago. Makes me feel old lol

Yeah it's a helpful mitigation tool. I had too many TAoE powers to keep it viable in my rotation so I went with Frozen Armor as my first pick.
