Whether these are bugs or intended behavior, I do not know. Updated to include other Archetype versions of the powerset. Feel free to pass any knowledge along, love the powerset! 1. Soothing Wave Question: Should the healing to target provided by Soothing Wave count towards the Healing Badges? (If so, it is currently not). 2. Whitecap Question: If the Target Type for Whitecap is "Enemies" why can I use it when I have an ally targeted? Question: Whitecap can't be cast on Halloween Event Banners, even though they are clearly marked as enemies and take damage. Is this intended behavior? (Though you can cast it on a nearby ally to apply the debuff). Answer from @Player-1 "As for Whitecap specifically, it and Savage Leap share the same issues with targeting due to certain targets having their true position being somewhere off the map. We are looking into ways around this as its a very specific interaction." 3. Tide Pool Question: Is there a reason why Tide Pool can be cast on the ground, but not in the air? All other Location AoE powers can be cast on any surface or target within range (i.e. Whirpool, Sleet, Blizzard, Ice Storm, etc., can all be cast in the air). Question: Tide Pool animation does not fire consistently - why is that? 4. Shifting Tides Question: Are the "% chance for" in Shifting Tides (Corruptor) supposed to say 0%? Answer: The chance increases per stack. At 0 stacks it's 0%. But it sounds like one of those wonky display things. 5. Barrier Reef Question: Why does the enhancement screen for the power not show Absorb enhancement value when a Heal IO is slotted? It shows Heal value though. 6. Power of the Depths Question: Does the +Range from this power increase the radius of itself if made perma? Answer: No, but it will increase other powers range. That's all so far. Again, I don't know if these are bugs or intended behavior, so feel free to comment.

The power description for Soothing Wave should be updated to reflect that Soothing Wave is a "Ranged Facing Cone" and not a "Ranged (Cone)."

I would consider the proliferation of melee and armor sets to count (for example, Stone Armor from the Tanker Archetype proliferated across Stalkers, Scrappers, and Sentinels).

I know when GMs spawn GMs during events, my lag spikes. I dunno if that's anecdotal, personal bias, or inconsequential to the discussion - either way I typed it!

So if I posted a thread about a Minion giving me 1337 XP, this would be significant because it spells out l33t?

The original poster* posting on a video game message board what l33t is - it's not some newly shared word, why does it matter - it's been around for decades. And Elite Boss XP in a league is going to be lower. So again I ask, what is the significance of this?

Regrowth is a "Ranged Facing Cone," while Soothing Wave is a "Ranged (Cone)." The distinction being what you're describing. If the behavior is intended, then the power description should be updated to reflect that Soothing Wave is a "Ranged Facing Cone" and not a "Ranged (Cone)."

Edit: This bug report thread will instead be submitted as a text typo in the appropriate thread. This is a two part submission specific to Corruptors, as I have not tested on any other Archetype. First, Soothing Wave from Marine Affinity has no rooting during activation. Second, Soothing Wave does not turn the character toward the target on activation. The former feels unintentional, however, if this is a conscious design choice, disregard. The later inadvertently prevents the cone heal from applying towards the direction of the target and instead applies to the direction the character is facing, which is, historically, not how "Ranged (Cones)" have worked.

Why is this significant?

Fire Blast doesn't have the same proc rates as Ice Blast, so if builds use damage procs, they will be better suited for damage output using Ice Blast. That's keeping in mind DPA as well.

The two things that count for me when I play with others: Are they on my global and do they like getting caught in the rain... oh wait just the first part. Since I play on Indomitable, I don't have to worry about maxing out my global friends list, so I tend to add people who are pillars of our small community. As for the topic at hand - I display my first appearance proudly on my main, but I don't really care for doing so on my other characters. What I do instead is just put my global @Glacier Peak so that players know who is driving the character and then the badge count, days since creation, and number of PvP matches won (there's a joke) really don't matter.

Maybe elaborate a little more. What damage type, what kind of powers, what each Archetype would get as power choices?

I see the same posters make the same suggestions about the game being too hard or wanting to change things to make it easier. I am diametrically opposed to these suggestions both from the standpoint of balance and because it would negatively affect my experience in this game I enjoy. I'm sure the same posters feel the same way about this game, but want change instead. I keep seeing GM Moogly pop in to threads and the take away I get is that there's no one way to play, everyone can enjoy the way they want to play, and make suggestions without being labeled or maligned, etc. I too want this community to remain populated and healthy. I just don't want to stop playing because of the changes others suggest ruin my experience.

Hey I'm subscribed to @Projector YouTube channel as well. The channel had a video on the LGTF advanced difficulty mode and I used it to be a better team leader because I wanted everyone to get the new badges at the time. I also ran it on beta just to get a good feel too. Anyways, good shout out! I think I am also subscribed to @M3z YouTube channel as well, but I haven't seen any new videos lately. Great channel for PvP content. Oh and @Living Brain 3000 has a great channel as well. Mostly breaking down how to run content across the game.

Well I'd say submit a support ticket, but since it's not game related that doesn't sound like the right way to go.
