Thank you for the reply. I don't think others are posting responses in good faith. My opinions are my own and I am not forcing anyone to agree with me. I can say costume jank is my least favorite part about how other servers have made things possible. Others are welcome to disagree and I encourage that kind of good faith discussion.

Look since you're at the point where you're doing the confused emote, this is how they're designed to be worn:

The costume detail is called Modern Beret Detail (1-13), not Warrior Helmet Detail. A player would use them with the Head > Half Helmets > Helmets > "Modern Beret".

I'm not asking the wrong question, but I can tell after asking my question twice that nobody is going to say they're intentionally combining those two things and wearing that as a costume.

Why would a player do that though?

The xp rates were returned to their normal levels across all shards.

It would not have made sense in this community of City of Heroes. It's been made clear numerous times in the past by the Homecoming Team that shards will not be combined or consolidated. There are no plans to merge shards. Players from the shards with lower populations have made clear numerous times that they do not want their shards combined or consolidated with other shards. Shuttering other shards or servers is a terrible idea.

Those are beret decals, why would you wear them on a helmet and not a beret?

I haven't played it, so I won't comment on gameplay. The teaser video that came with the announcement was not something I would consider paying money to play in 2025 - maybe in 2004 though.

I haven't seen any costume pieces that Homecoming created that are janky. Edit: Here are all the new costume pieces that Homecoming has added over the past few Page and Issue releases. I don't consider any of these janky.

There's a lot of names available. I checked my namesake and it was available. Aside from that I made two new characters and transferred one I plan on playing during server wide events.
