  1. I think there are a few options. I will just post a few builds to get yourself a idea. These are just some Stalkers in my mids directory. i do not remember what build goals i try to reach. Ninja/Invul StrJ/Shield Ninja/Ninja (Cheap build. No Purple or Winter used) SM/Bio
  2. I can not think of any build for Stalkers that would need it. What contex do you have in mind?
  3. @00Troy00 and @Frostweaver, did you guys know that a lot of people still pick epic pool powers like focussed accuracy and then slot the gauss proc into it? That is really funny because FA is just a big endurance hog and the proc is best used in Build Up. It will proc a lot more than in FA. And why would you pick it if you can just slot one kismet and still get a lot of Acc from set bonuses. Don't you guys think that FA is not only overrated, it is nearly useless. Or am I wrong?
  4. Wow look at this psionic reists! I would say it is a playable build and maybe the best version of this powersets to conter psi without incarnates or other team members.
  5. I really like spines on brutes or scrappers, because of the gameplay that these ATs support. I would just jump in and start hitting the boss. Before the boss is dead there are no minions left and the leutenants are also dead or allmost dead. Then i would jump into the next group and start over again, while dragging the survivors of the last group with me. This does not work on Stalkers. Quills is a big part of the total dps and is missing on Stalkers. While Spines still has good AoE, i think that this powerset shines on scrappers or brutes.
  6. KelvinKole is right. IO's are the solution. While making your build you would want to look out for opportunities to use the mentioned unique IO's. Another way is to increase your positional defenses. You can get melee easy to 45% and the others to at least ~30%. You will feel a small improvement, but this is all endgame stuff. During the leveling phase psionic will be annoying. Especially on red side with all the fortunatas running around.
  7. Zapp and Moonbeam deal the exact same damage. Mid does not show the right numbers. Between Mu and Spul you should be asking yourself Lightnung Ball or Shadow Meld. Both are good but stj/sd may not “need“ shadow meld.
  8. I like the flow of StJ. It feels really good and has a rotation that works very good. It is my favorite set for single target damage. The easiest one to get lost in scrapper lock.
  9. So after looking into this power combination i came up with this build of mine: Highlights: 45% defense to: S/L/F/C/E/N 44% defense to melee (missed it by 1% ) 67,7% Resistance to S/L in oddensive adaption, because you would go over the cap if you play in eff or def adaption. (I don't like wasted bonuses.) Got the damage incarnates no need fo survivability ones. 132,5% Recharge to have a good attack chain, Ninja Blade does not really need more recharge, in my opinion. Snipe and Lightning Ball from Mu Mastery with some good IO in it, so they hurt.
  10. That looks like a solid build. Maybe i will find some time tonight to look into it more detailed. For now i would like to propose you take a look at Mu Mastery. Moonbeam and Zapp deal the exact same amount of damage but you could get Ball Lightning, which is a nice AoE. You will find Ninja Blade to be an amazing set but will lack in terms of area damage from time to time. Divine Avalanche could mule the LotG from Shadow Meld and your slots wouldbe off a little bit. But i think it could be viable.
  11. You can find a Mids Version that is called Mids Reborn in this forum. For the build that i have postet try out look here: For you Power combination i would go with this for PvP: And for the PVE Version i would try out this:
  12. PvP and PVE Endgame Group content are completely different things. In my opinion you can not cover the bases on both topics with only one build. The defense caps don't really matter in PvP, you need some MOG (Overload?) like powers and Burnout to use them before they expire for survivability. Also PvP is like some mad squirrels on crack are jumping and running around just trying to hit each other from time to time and try to spike damage people to the hospital. Therefore they all have a massive amount of procs and ranged powers preferably with a hold component. That will help you kill the ATs without mez protection. For Stealth in PvP Strikerfox is right. You need Hide + Stealth + any Stealth IO, and when you are going to pick up the Stealth pool take a close look at Phase Shift. It will save you in PvP. For any Content i would take Entropy Shield and stay away from Disrupt. Here is a Version of a PvP Stalker Psi/EA by @M3z he is a active PvP Player and has some good builds and Videos out there. Psi EA Stalker.mxd If you are interested we could try to find out a good PvE and or PVP Version of your Build.

    Savage guide

Hi @Frosticus, Very nice guide! You make me almost try out SM again. You mention a downside to Blood frenzy stacks, i do know what that means . But could you make a section that explaines these stacks, how to manage them and when it's worth to spend them. Otherwise well done!
  14. Hi there, normaly you have to give us more information on what you want to do with your Stalker or what the Build goals are. Will you be solo or in groups mostly, or even just duo? It will be a lot more easier for us to help you if you could porvide us with a little bit more. For your build, there are a lot of things that are not up to date with the new stalker version. I would strongly suggest to look into my guide. Link to it in the signature. I did take the powers that you selected (except for Forcussed accuracy, nobody uses it anymore) and just changed the slots/levels. It ended up beeing a little bit expensive inf wise. if you are looking for a budget version of a endgame or leveling variant of ninja/ninja there is a version in my guide. Here is your build with some of my suggestions: Also using the Spoiler tags reduce the length of posts by a great amount 😉
  15. Ninja/Ninja is great for solo you will have a good time. If it is your first time stalker i would suggest you take a look at my guide...

    Best Solo Build?

Maybe self advertisement is not the best way but i made a guide exactly for people like you. I even suspected you to play ninja/ninja and included a example build without winter sets or purples but still perma hasten. Just take a look in my signature. Also the other posters are right. You can take any combination to solo anything. I had troubles to solo Battlemaiden on my Elec/Shield (still did it) but was easy on my StJ/Shield. Both did it but it took too long and the hydra pylons was a pain in the ass. It took ~30Minutes at this point you can just look for at least one or two more and do it much faster. But if you like solo challenges, i do understand that.
  17. Hi @Bob the Painter, i took a look at your build and did try to keep DNA siphon as a AoE attack, at least to a small degree. But i would totally drop Genetic Corruption. In the build below i just picked Assault, but feel free to go for anything else, maybe Superjump? don't matter. For the slots in Assassin's Strike, Greater Psi Blade and DNA Siphon, Mass Levitate, that is not my normal route. i did try to lean towards your proc oriented approach, but normaly i would definately do it different. (No Fore Feedback proc in Mass Levitate?! omfg....) The Healing Powers are somewhat weird undersloted but it will not break the build. i just tweaked some of the levels when you get the powers. you will really love Parasitic Aura, when you have no Ageless in lower levels. i would not pick it last. Remember to check "Offensive Adaption" so you can see your real resi numbers. I did try to reach the defense caps, but could not do it better with the given restrictions.
  18. Genetic Corruption is the only power in /Bio that i would skip and never miss.
  19. Ok, i just had the time to test this out aaaaaaand....... @Coyote is absolutely right. I used a PSI/Bio to test and slotted DNA siphon with 4 dam proc and 2 slots for Acc/Damm. Every Target has his own chance of the procs so i would hit some targets with all 4 procs and some wit 1 or 2. But the point of turning a utility power into a reasonable AoE is true! The downside of this would be that you have to invest in a lot of slots, which makes it a bit harder to reach some other build goals like defense or resist caps. And since you go down the proc route you would like to use every global recharge you can get your hand on. So build wise this is for experts only or for copying someone elses build. It is definitly not for beginners.
  20. Today i wanted to log onto the beta server and it was not even an option to select on tequila. but it is shown online with 7 people on in the server status. what am i doing wrong? Edit: NVM there is now a sticky to explain that you need a new manifest in tequila.
  21. I will test this out on the beta server some time. What are the enhancements needed, 3-4 dam proc and rest acc/dam? I would like to try out this on a bio and rad as well, because if it is like that, i may have missed out on some good AoE opportunitys.
  22. Hi @Coyote, thank you for your insight on the different possibilities with AoE on the Stalker secondaries. I have come to the conclusion that a lot of people like you do like procs. While on ATs like Defenders with low damage multipliers it is a good way to boost your damage, it is not a good idea to go that far on a stalker. I do not wipe off every proc from the beginning, but don't go wild on them in a PVE build. You have forgotten Shield Defenses Shield Charge? It is the best AoE in the Stalker secondaries. To the Powers that you postet, i would just agree on Ground Zero to be a good addition to your AoE damage. Every other skill has some sort of Damage added to it, but damage is not the main focus of that skill, it is just a nice damage icing on the cake of endurance/heal/debuff/whatever. The number you are posting should be taken with a grain of salt, because the damage proc you put into these powers can only apply to one target. If you use these attacks you would want to hit a lot of targets with, for obvious reasons of course. For example 220 Damage consume is composed of 3 damage procs for ~50 and base damage of 70? for a total of 220. If you hit everyone with ~70 damage and hit 3 of them with ~50 damage, i would not burst out in joyfull tears. And in a single target situation you would not want to hit consume, except you are desperately needing endurance and have no blue inspiration. Well maybe you would go and hit it anyway because you get the recover bonus and at least some endurance. But now i am loosing my focus on the topic: Proc are godly on Defenders, tanks and other low dps ATs, but just a little addition on a stalker, if you know what you are doing. To point out that these attacks also slot PBAoE sets goes into a deep theorycrafting zone that is worth his own guide. I didn't want to cover that here where i focus on the Stalker.
