If it helps to have a idea what some sets can do, here is a visual overview:
-
After playing my build for a extented time i wanted to give some feedback here. I went for the assault hybrid, musculature alpha, ageless destiny, -res proc, mighty judgement and longbow healer lore. Endurance was quite a problem but was fixed with ageless. After that i even have grant cover on if i am solo for the defense debuff protection. Damage is absurdely good AOE and single target (Thx Moonbeam). Solo experience: If i want to farm, i go to my spine/fire brute. But this build is capable of killing missions +4/8. I have to be carefully from time to time and activate the defensive cooldowns or take a purple but i only die if i don't pay attention or get some really annoying enemys like malta. Archvillains take a long time and some of them require the use of some inspirations. I guess some other lore pets would be better. If someone can suggest good pets to kill AV i would try it out. What i mostly do play solo is +1/1 ghost fast through the missions, but every stalker can do that. It is just for getting badges or some fast mertits, like in the sister psyche arc. Group experience: I play mostly with my Supergroup and we got a Fortunata and Crabmind in the group. I get alone from these two players more than 40% defense, then my grant cover comes on top of all that for the rest of the team. I have moonbeam ALLWAYS as instant because of the leadership buffs. We kill things so brutally fast that i can not tell you what really is going on. The only one who manages to die is our Crab 😂 (he states it is only for the vengeance buff) If we don't have our brute pall, it is me who has aggro and tank pretty well. It is no problem to shortcut a mission if we want to. I got the temp power from the p2w vendor to teleport the whole team to me. But again, evety Stalker can do that. What i can do, is to split from the group and solo some mission goals, but then i would miss out on dying crabs😛

Hey @M3z really good feedback here from you. I am thinking to bring a Stalker into PvP. What Powersets would you choose?
-
Hi @Dynastyjay, i tried take your build and leave the powers as much as i can. Playing this build should feel similar to your build, especialy for the finishers ( i did not drop Sweeping Cross like @modest). What i did different is that i left out the Body Mastery. I have a BS/EA and never feel like i need the extra endurance. If you keep using Energize on cooldown, you get a really big Endurance discount and regeneration buff. I don't treat this power like a clickheal. i use it more like hasten. just fire it off, the moment it comes on again. The uptime off the energize buff should be around 90%. And if the endurance really drops low. just hit energy drain and you are fine again. What else is defferent? Tactics is gone, Moonbeam, Overload and Shadowmeld are new. Tactics is not that much needed, because of the Stalker ATO Assassin's Mark and high uptime of Build Up. You barely should miss, even with your build. And the high uptime of Build Up allows the frequent use of instant Moonbeam (no casttime, can not be interrupted, hard hitting ranged attack). Street Justice like Broadsword is missing a good ranged attack. What happens is that after unleashing some damage to the mob groups, some low Hitpoint targets are still alive. Sometimes a Minion was just too far away from the group or portet away. In that cases a moonbeam is a really nice tool. Overload and Shadowmeld are both just mules for the Luck of the gambler set. if you ever feel like hitting a purple inspiration, you can just use these instead. Last notes before the build: You did overslot Hide. If you are in combat you loose every defense bonus of hide and remain only 3% def on all. So Hide is a good mule for the unique IO but shoud not be pimped up like you did. Another small tweak would be to move the numina from health to energize and just 6 slot it for the last defense bonuses, since you are going to hit energize every 34 seconds, you should still get the numina unique bonus. Lastly i don't understand the hamidon enhancement in entropy shield, a lvl 50 IO EndRdx should be better in that slot. Stealth does stack but is not important for most of PVE. If you want to go for PVP than you would need stealth and one stealth IO in a travelpower. To get the real numbers for defense, you go to the Options ->Configuration -> "Effects&Maths" -> check "Attacked" The numbers now should show you in combat with the proper values for defense. i tried to exactly min max to 45% Defense.
-
That kinda looks like the cheap build of @M3z that he used in his youtube tutorial.
-
I would go with /SR, /EA or /Nin. I have not tried /ice so far. I like Stalkers on Defense more than resistance based. If you get Stealth, Combat Jumping and the two IO with3% Defense early on, you will have a good time playing them all. Super Reflexes: Very good positional defenses, easy to cap, +20%recharge and run speed, clicky antimez like shield Energy Aura: Good overall defenses, vulnerable to psi, +20 % recharge, click heal, click endurance Ninjitsu: Good posotional defenses, click heal, packet with a lot of utility that is good for solo survivability but sucks in groups I made a overview of all stalker secondaries. Maybe it can help you choose the secondary Stalker Secondaries For the primary, since this will be the powers you will use most of the time i would say go for whatever is fun to you. They are all good enough. If you have a lot of money to spare you can buy the ATO procs and a gaus proc. Stalkers guile proc into Assasin strike, Assasin Mark into you T1 or T2 Power and gaus in the single slot of Buildup. ANY Primary will perform insanely good that way.
-
You also have a higher chance to crit against hold or sleeping enemys.
-
You are totally right. I changed it now. It was a copy paste mistake from my side. Thank you for the close look!
-
Thank you for testing out the build. I did take this build also to justin and agree with you. The FF proc will be dropt. I liked moonbeam very much. After unleashing the area damage it happens that surviving mobs start to run around and a heavy hitting ranged attack closes a gap that i have not been aware before. The build up from decimation did not proc that often, but it happened from time to time, so the slots stay like that i think. Shadowmeld is enough as a mule for Luck of the gambler. Next to do for me is to try out spring attack. Is it that good? Edit: There was a fireball in epic pools or not? I think spring attack AND firball could be another option for us.

Here is a thread for Elec/Shield Elec/Shield Kruunch and me did post two builds that could help you in the right direction. You can totally go another route, since we all have unique playstyles. Maybe all 3 could go /Shield. In that case you 3 could totally abuse grant cover for a lot of Defense.
-
Sniper attacks get a yellow circle during build up, so it is instant and can not be interupt. it can be used during combat without problems. I see the same numbers for Defense debuff in both builds. the difference without Forcefeedback proc is 60 seconds cooldown from your build to 65 seconds to mine. during a 2 minute timeframe there should be enough forcefeedback procs to bridge that gap. But than again, you have a lot more experience in the endgame content than me. Feel free to build tankier.
-
I have a suggestion for footstomp. You can easily slot force feedback chance for recharge. It procs quite often, so you will have better at aoe.
-
Yes Lockpick is right. English is not my native language. Maybe i did mix things up. Sorry for that! Your build is fine and an actual build. I don't even have a Elec/Shield yet. I wanted to make just a few suggestions and ended up with that build: 1. One slot in Buildup with Gauss proc CAN be enough, except you want the set bonuses ofc. 2. Does the Force Feedback proc work on the telenukes and is it good? 3. Epic Pools. You choose Body Mastery to help with endurance, i was thinking, if endurance is not a problem, the insta snipe could help single target damage. 4. If you are recharge heavy, you can drop jacobs ladder.
-
Hi Kruunch, nice to see someone approach the elec/shield Stalker. The Stalker could be the best iteration of this powerset combo. I would say, you could look for some info on /SD in @Zerethon's thread about the Thing that should not be. For me, i have taken some of the best forum represantatives about builds like in the scrapper pylon thread and here of course and put something up myself. I did not use incarnates. but i used some purple sets. one easy adaption could be the force feedback proc in the telenukes. that way you can get some insane recharge rates. This and the fact, that hasten can be slotet with a +5 IO it should do fine recharge wise. So you can go about ~ 20 seconds : Build up, Shield Charge, Lightning Rod, Thunder Strike, Assasin's shock, Moonbeam. Moonbeam is really cool for those high hp targets that survive your 3 area attacks. Build up has a crazy uptime thanks to Assasins mark proc. A single Gaus proc is enough, so you have a lot more slots. That way you should have a lot of uptime on instant snipe moonbeams that can even cript after a assasin strike proc. so it's a great combo! I have no idea how the build plays endurance wise. i hope the blue bar does not empty too fast... Since this is a purely theoretical approach from me, i have no actual experience with it. but hey that's why we have a justin right? I added the requested Versions without Hide. Thank you @Microcosm for the status options in pines. That really helped.
-
I was thinking Stalker trade quick recovery for hide and rttc for the clickheal. Stalkers don't get these 2 powers. That's the big negative point about wp on stalkers.
-
Thank you for using the comparison. The actual numbers are all inside hide, so the defense numbers should be lower on all sets. Now to your question: Willpower is the best secondary, if you don't want a secondary. It is there, it does its Job and never wants you to click anything (except for the selfheal maybe). you can even go on and just pick the first 7 powers and leave out the selfrez and ultimate, so you can pick more other powers. But i have to admit, willpower shines on brutes, scrappers and sentinels more than it does on stalkers. Edit: It also has the best status protection of all sets.
-
Ok back on the Computer now. I made a huge mistake as i should have taken hide out of the equation. I will update the Data as soon as possible. unfortunately i am away this weekend. I hope to give you the overview without hide during this week.
-
This threat sounds great! Keep up the work, i am looking forward to tge informations here!
-
Back to topic (somehow): Did i read right that every Elec/Shield should be a Stalker? Double Telenuke and Assasinstrike the remaining, at every mob pack? That sounds broken...
-
You get big defense Bonus inside and outside of hide. It is part of what a Stalker is. But i can take a look at it when i am home again.
-
These are realistic defense Numbers for Stalker. Hide increases AoE Defense greatly. I may suggest to you, take a look at combat jumping and tough. You can get steadfastprotection +4KB protection and ditch the zephyr set. That way you would gain one more slot.
-
I was thinking about different Stalker Secondary Powersets and their impact to the playstyle. I made a post with a visual comparison. Maybe it is helpful for new players. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/6949-croaxs-visual-overview-of-stalker-secondary-powersets/
