  4. Full powered pets with full powered mez control powers (with less damage) sounds a bit OP.
  5. Ah i was reading the rationale instead of reading it as a rationalization. So this is another MM pet primary/control secondary thread basically. Since there are no control secondaries, wouldn't that imply they would need a modifier reduction? How good will control sets be with 0.75x normal mez values?
  6. Why not just identify if there are reasons some powersets are so unpopular and address those? Theme reasons - do nothing Power reasons - improve short comings

  10. There is only so much they can do about aggro. High end teams don't need as much aggro control due to everyone being less squishy. Tanks still need to contribute in the high end game. Low end they don't as have many good attacks as brutes anyway, so that balances itself.
  11. I care like less than nothing about farm balance. I don't advocate eliminating farm missions or anything. But farming is not something that should be considered. Team dynamics should be.
  12. Yeah its not so much their farm brute loses, its that a tanker farm toon might be moar better now.
  13. Improved fury generation for the 2nd, 3rd etc brute in the team is a great trade off for the cap change. Since that is a definite problem
  14. Their 1b inf farm toons that have earned them 5b influence will be less good than possible tanker farm toons.
  15. Sure seems to be. In that case we can get rid of all ATs except brutes, and remove 2/3rds of the power sets.

  19. Epic armor is only available for Defenders, corruptors, blasters, Dominators, Controllers, and Masterminds.
  20. Pre granite definitely. There is a thread with some non granite builds that might help. On SOs for tanks I 4 slot those 3 def or res and 1 end red. Generally put the end red in the first slot as the power becomes available.

  22. Thematically certain types of armors are resist, others defense. Fire is resist, Ice is defense. Electric is resist, Energy is defense. Etc. So really they work as intended.
  23. Hmmm this could solve stones exemplar problem too Since def and res sets have decent bonuses and can get the attuned versons. That and uniques and purples. I've teamed with some stone tanks leveling up and they seemed good at getting aggro, but died easily before granite. But you only have to level up once after all... and as you suggest the set can be made good.
