This is an uneeded change
STJ for stalkers is already better than scrapper (yes ive played both)
Just attack with shin breaker from hide, then fast AS and proc hide then Crushing Uppercut.
Slow AS is too boring anyway.
======
I do have a suggestion for Stalker AS though - allow an alt animation with the one for Rib Cracker.
That animation is what I miss from the Scrapper set.
No just that the penalty should be more fairly applied to affect both Res and Def sets.
This isn't really a Tank Issue anyway. Its a Brute issue. Tanks can easily survive the crash.
I would also like to vote for not adding new stuff so fast that it outpaces play balance tweaks.
For example- a lot of the new Blaster Secondaries need some minor adjustments, particularly in the Melee Attack Recharge time vs Damage area. Adding another Blaster Secondary now seems like it would be too soon.
Well thought out changes are better than change for change's sake IMO.
WP is better on Brutes. More HP plus its too easy to cap S/L resist on Scrapper. And SOW is actually useful with a 90% cap.
SR has a better level progression on Brutes. AOE defense comes a lot lower level.
Currently in the middle of a completionist run - level locked at 20 catching up on Ouro arcs.
Not a big fan of solo COH either but to do a completionist run, kind of necessary.
Its oddly reassuring to have those marks beside each arc.
the DMG boost power does decent over time I think
But attacks like Storm Kick, Eagle's Claw, Dragons Tail have Scrapper like recharge times and thus correspondingly low damage for Blaster Melee attacks
Ninja also has this issue.
Yeah some of the newer sets don't seem to use the same longer recharge, higher damage melee attacks.
/martial melee attacks seem anemic compared to /energy or /electric.
I agree with Rathulfr, put sudden accel kb to kd into Energy Torrent, Explosive Blast, and Nova.
Then learn how far you ST blasts push badies as you are leveling up and keep that in mind. The ST stuff is almost never a problem.
That's it.
Rial had a point in that Blasters are fairly fragile.
But of course this can be worked around (on SOs) / largely compensated for (on IOs)
A well played/ well built Blaster is an amazing force of destruction, that gets a lot from their many very good secondaries.
But it is a much steeper learning curve than a Brute or Scrapper.
