Im currently soloing a scrapper through all the arcs, starting with Pretoria. I found I was leveling too fast.
I ran through the crusader resistance arcs then had to go ouro to pick up the others. Just completed the level 10 ones.
Im level 27 already.
This game definitely does not level too slow.
I have to give people credit. They don't think small with their changes.
This is a suggestion that has a reasonable premise. Back when IOs were in beta would have been a good counter to what the devs were coming up with.
Years after the fact? Too late tbh.

Epics too.
While I'm personally ambivalent, since I always have too many powers and not enough slots, i can see where skipping boxing or conserve power would be better in many cases.
The number of people who take it is probably a pretty good indicator of how Powerful it is.
Thing is there is no point changing it without nerfing it.
Nerfing it isnt worth it.
Hasten is more powerful than any other +recharge power in any set. Primary or Secondary.
Definitely was a bad idea lol.
Those playtesters back in 2002 should have sniffed less glue.
Oh well.
Id be more inclined to leave the current pools alone, and work on the partly developed ones.
There's enough novelty in those that people will want some of them.
I always get hasten, combat jumping, tough and weave. All of them. Those are givens to me.
Which sure, points to game design issues. Somebody should have addressed those a long time ago. Back before they became ingrained in how people play and build.
Awesome Heroes unlimited example in this.
We had a house rule limiting how many sport skills you could take.
Which meant everyone just took boxing since it was the best one.
Basically exactly like Hasten.
True, there are multiple areas like this.
I'd be glad to try a game where they made sweeping changes to balance and mechanics. Voluntarily.
Just not those same changes to the established game.
That's why i mentioned COH2
Maybe one that doesnt rely on -res
Fire Melee perhaps.

Also BIO by definition helps tankers more compared to brutes since every % of plus damage matter more with a higher scale.
So a BIO scrapper might make a better comparison point.
TW/BIO scrappers can get far in excess of anything a tank can manage.
I get the impression that some want to basically redesign the game.
Which in itself is a worthwhile idea, if it wasn't for the niggling fact that 1000s of people play this one.
