  4. Well sort of You can hit any other attack first. So would be more like hitting KOB before Footstomp.
  5. Can't get footstomp on scrappers though, whirling smash is definitely awesome.
  6. Rage is just build up that can be made perma. There is literally no other difference. Any issue with buildup also applies to rage except the uptime. Double ragers are asking for long periods where they get 2 buildups running, with no downside. They are the ones standing in the way of a crashless easy to use perma-buildup for SS
  7. Still feels clunky and slow at 39. Aoe is great though. Whirling Smash may be my favorite PBAOE of all time. Basically roll on up next to a brute or tank thats clustered some baddies and BAM flatten them all. It might hit bosses hard? Its hard to objectively say since i spend a lot of time frustrated that momentum is down. The having to que up slow AF Crushing blow to deal with a Rikti monkey stinks. Its like you took Broad Sword and turned up what makes Broad Sword feel clunkier than Katana. I can definitely see the potential for high damage. But its lopey and uneven. Ill probably run it to 50 but I am already bored with this one.
  8. The cap is 17, not 10. Also if you raised it for tanks you'd be raising it for brutes too. And Blasters.
  9. The rationale was that getting a perma build up was better than a 10 second build up Thus it needed a downside. The game has moved on and people are willing to concede a perma build up was okay without a crash. However there are vocal advocates who want MORE than a perma build up, they want to be able to have long overlap periods of TWO buildups. (30+ seconds typically) Suggesting that doesn't warrant a downside is just being silly.
  10. I mean if you picked the Getting Kicked powerset but advocate removing the headkicking because you feel you character is more a shin kicked getting kicked type ...

  12. I would support this if the no taunt was replaced by mega uber Energy foot stomp whirling smash power sword circle. Or just a special taunt that did some damage to make up for EM being so weak.
  13. Its been stated before, often, but the Aggro cap can not be made AT specific apparently. Thus every 4th poster suggesting it is kind of pointless.
  14. Run into work, climb stairs go down halls, catch the elevator .. Which only goes up one floor.. Run down the hall, around the corner .. To another Elevator ... to go to the 3rd floor. If I worked in paragon city, I would never make it to my workspace in time.

  18. So Tanker Claws Shockwave will have a 180 Arc and a 30 foot range, range enhancable with blaster style target cap. That might be the best thing ever (tm)
  19. This proposal eliminates the entire crash except the endurance cost, which is front loaded. People who wanted a crashless rage are basically done minus some math or click discipline. Sure its a little clutzy, but on the live server you have a full crash right now. Those who wanted crashless double rage? I mean cmon who did you all think you were fooling?

  21. I support these changes also. Just seems like a lot all at once. But these will definitely fix the "why even play a tank?" problem. Also ironically tankers should finally match the original release game manual flavor text.
  22. That spreadshhet included dots, right? So Savage was the #2 set. Also some of the new sets like TW don't have full powered build-up, so that is a consideration.

  24. Wait .. one exception. Tons of people over the years and now have used the smashing damage in SS to support the need for a crashless double stacked rage.
  25. Im okay with single rage only either a toggle or a no stack. Im okay with single rage with jab and punch moved up to better rec/dam Im okay with this change as posted too. Was okay-ish with how it is on homecoming live, though my SS these days is a SR tanker... so this one is better. Only thing really that would bother me is rage becoming build up.
