  1. Actually i disagree. It has 2 good cones and a great pbaoe. Saying it only has one good aoe is disingenuous. The pbaoe only works with momentum though, which should be kept in mind.
  2. How does TW perform with other sets relatively. Mine is WP, not bio. Also I think the IO vs SO problem is being glossed over by detractors.
  3. My guess is those bigger numbers are there to compensate for the out of momentum DPA. The set feels completely different when momentum is up, though I'm not sure 80% is the real uptime in actual play. Doesn't feel that high. Seems a hard mechanic to design around. The dots i have no idea tbh, dots tend to be better on paper though, since people don't usually let them tick out. See the complaints about Savage underperforming.
  4. To be fair to the die-hard defenders, those calling for nerfs tend to also be a small core of die-hards. The pylons become non linear as times get faster. This is a huge issue. Then add in human error, build considerations etc. I have no doubt TW has the highest ST damage for melee based on the results. The problem is assigning a value to it.
  5. This is a useful anecdote at least. I still haven't seen the awesome sustained ST promised damage at level 35, but i can see how it could happen once i get more slots and IOs I do get annoyed every time i have to que up some slow af ST attack to deal with a half dead minion though. Its to the point I'm thinking of throwing a couple slots in brawl.

  7. People always exaggerate SSs pre rage weakness. Confirmation bias at its finest. Its two attacks that do less damage than other sets comparable attacks. Jab and Punch. And that is because they recharge faster. So they use the standard recharge vs damage formula. Its not some complicated litany of attacks. Its two. Basically this means Punch has comprable numbers to other old school tankers Teir 1. And Jab is pitiful. Which is an issue, sure. But its not some kind of eternal justification for double stacked rage. Next well get the smashing damage excuse, which always conveniently ignores the fact that a lot if other non rage sets are smashing damage. Y'all already won btw. This change keeps double stacked rage. It just makes it a little more fair for defense sets. Arguing you should be able to 2xrage crashless is being greedy.

  10. Don't know if it will be insane, but Double Rage might be >.<. Its a definite buff. Brutes come out behind though. I didn't see this point brought up, its a good one.

Double Rage exists almost exactly as it does on the Homecoming Live servers Except the END is front loaded (and looks like you can reduce it), and the Defense Reduction is now spread out between Def and Resist. So those people who Double stack rage for damage see almost no change. Those who double stack it with only a small overlap are the ones relatively "hurt" unless they make adjustments / Although they aren't really hurt more than they already were on Homecoming Live. Since they would be better off with no overlap. No one is getting the Double Stacked Rage from the old NCSoft Servers with the bugged -Def crash.
  12. maybe just make it an auto power for Dwarfs, and put it into one of the Armor toggles for the Human form. Well auto in the sense that its part of the Dwarf Toggle.

  15. Other than the bonus "to hit" and damage you mean? The penalties for stacking are basically the same as they are now. Just more evenly spread out between Resist and Defense.
  16. Dark Armor will be amazing .. 16 foot fear, 16 foot Stun, 16 foot Damage aura. Pair it with Dark melee for that 20 foot Soul Drain, and buffed Shadow Maul. Fun.
  17. >.< Maybe if they could add a Null the Gull choice though? No idea if that's feasible. But it sounds like your main issue is accidentally double stacking because you want the single stacked option provided in the OP, but not the clunkiness.

  22. Those comic con clones are actually pretty good. Course they are cosplay in universe so i kind of liked that.
  23. SS tankers are going go be a lot more fun now at least with the other changes. Rage+20 foot footstomp+90 degree energy torrent should be a blast.
