I wonder if its because SR and Regen are from the same Original Era? And the SR tweeks over the years have made it better. While Regen has just resulted in Regen? I am still convinced they had completely fixed Regen, but named it Willpower to avoid the fire storm. But as you say. SR is fine, and if its not fine probably needs it own thread.

I've never made a character that didn't have the fighting pool by level 50.

If this is the criteria, how can SR even be considered here? Once you have a mid-priced softcapped build you can walk over almost everything (level 35, or exemp 30+) but AVs And most AVs aren't really that scary.

Yes I suppose, this is a bit of a Rabbit Hole. On SO's there is an entirely different pecking order for Secondaries (And Primaries) A lot of the "Good Sets" like Energy Aura, Invul, SR become kinda Meh on SO's only. Some sets completely transform with just a handful of IO's though. SR being a great example. Regen is the opposite. It basically stays relatively near SO performance until you get a fairly big chunk of IOs in there.

At least until Willpower made that less of a thing Still for low levels it was better since you got Fast Recovery at 4 instead of 20.

MA exemplars better for ST. So if you are planning to do Ouro missions, etc, MA is better. The KD on Dragon's Tail is probably superior to Whirlings hands Disorient, and it animates faster. For Brutes and Tankers there are some Def advantages. Rule of cool animate stuff. Other than that EM is much better.

There is far too much Fannon, and Fannon Adjacent (Expanded U) stuff in Star Wars ADDED to Official Cannon Dues Ex MAchina Powers, there is no way to really predict why any Character has any ability nor why. Its appropriate its all owned by Disney at this point. Since its basically a theme park situation.

Since the damage is DOT based, and Fury effects DOTs. If this was a Bio or Shield question in the Brute subsection, the comments would be the opposite. Since the Scrappers higher scale would benefit from the +DMG of those two Powersets.

As always, the greatness of Rage is under-reported. The inconvienece of the crashes are over reported. Think we have done this thread before.

While you can of course do whatever you would like with your character. I am confused by this in a more general sense. Do characters actually know whether or not they are Brutes or Scrappers? Seems a bit Meta. I assumed that AT catagories were on the mechanics 4th wall side of the divide.

Street Justice and Energy Aura on stalkers is definitely fine.

For Stalker I'd say EA, definitely. Its very comprable to Scrapper EA, so you don't feel less than. Scrapper I'd say shield. Unless its a budget build.

I am a fan of the genre. Ever since I was a kid. I have even read the original comic book arcs that No Way Home is sort of based on. And I havent even bothered to watch it. Nor a lot of the other shows out recently. People less interested than me surely exist even beyond my personal anecdottes among my family and friends of "Another Super Hero Movie? Meh."

I feel like we have had 20 years of being overhammered by Super Hero Movies and TV shows. And that can't be good for COX. The traditional MMO has also faded a lot. Outside of WOW that is. WoW basically walmarted its competition. And even WOW has declined in playrrbase. Newer MMOs are different. Maybe we should all move to one server and hope enough occasional log ons keep it alive for longer.

It's almost like this game was originally designed for half as many ATs than it has now ...
