This is a good point. If the game were harder, then the added survival of Scrappers (usually) would matter more vs Stalkers. But as it is now, unless its something weird like Rulararu or Incarnate content .. it don't matter.

Basically this I go full scrapperlock and just charge in front of everyone The question was 50+, so you should be able to handle alphas from almost all content, depending on secondary of course.

No. Only meant inverse in the sense that its def instead of resist. Basically you would still be soft to alphas, but as you take damage your defense goes up, increasing the time you have to hit your click heal.

I was in Atlas Park at the time. In general on Everlasting everyone forms DFBs from Atlas Park and starts it when everyone is in zone. I noticed on Excelsior the Blue Side usually start inside the first room of the AP sewers (at least they did a few months ago)

You can definitely run a hero team with a rogue with no issues I've done that before.

I'm in the camp that its too late now. But realistically that could be said about a lot of balance issues. Game is old and established, not a beta. But it doesn't mean that Incarnate powers were not badly designed.

Both can be true.

Judgement powers were a bad idea. So were most incarnates. Incarnates should all have worked in ways akin to the alpha slot. Increasing the power of your build, not giving you unbalancing powers. But oh well. Too late now. Ship has sailed on the water under the bridge we burned down when we got there.

Brutes probably don't need Support most of the time, unless you are playing really high difficulty as a duo or something. So often something like Kin to take advantage of all the +DMG brutes can leverage. ======= But if you do need Survival support then you want complimentary powers rather than stacking I think. So for a Defense Brute like SR or EA, then Sonic support would really boost their unkillable status. Or a Resistance Brute like Electric or Rad, then Force Field or Time or Dark. My thinking is that you will max out the type or survival tools that your Secondary focuses on, thus the support offering additional tools is where it is at. ======== The same would go for supporting a scrapper or stalker. Except they need more survival help. An interesting choice might be to go Blaster instead. Which will easily Out Damage any of those in actual Mission Conditions. In which case a Force Field could actually shine since they would cap defense (for both of the duo eventually) and offer Mez protection to both.

Never saw this suggestion before ...

In CO, Like many newer MMOs, there is only limited teaming. So it feels like a single player game. A few of those, like Star Wars Old Republic, have enough story for you to 90%+ single player for a while ... But eventually it gets boring faster than a MMO game with active teams.

Great Idea! We could probably use a few of these type mods.

I love the Hosts, GMs and Mods here. Really appreciate them giving us a place to play. Its possible the OP misinterpreted a warning given in chat/ missed something perhaps. But if the silencing seriously came with no warning? That's a lamo way to deal with this stuff.
