I don’t totally get the raving about the set’s damage unless proc bombs are assumed in multiple cones. Unless I definitely have room to proc bomb the other cones, I feel like I’ll only want the S/T hold and confuse, the cone stun and immobilize, and the pet. 5 powers. Seems like the cone stun with superior damage is more or less the highlight of the set. I will at least proc bomb that one. Just not convinced on bothering with the fear/sleep cones after that. -
Haha that’s too much. If you don’t understand that farming is the path of *least* effort in this game, I don’t expect to be capable of agreeing with you on what color the sky is.

Using XP per kill is a dishonest way to measure AE rewards since they are custom designed by players to maximize kill rate. Rewards = Rewards per kill times kill rate. If you aren’t factoring in the kill rate you aren’t actually talking about the activity’s overall rewards.

So many people literally refusing to engage with the facts because they can’t bear any slight reduction in their OP AE rewards. A little sad 😐 Make an argument that you deserve outsized rewards, sure. But maybe engage with the actual arguments on the table because the red herrings stink.

I don’t think it’s a problem that the set is better on one AT or another. That’s true of most of the sets. The reverse of Mind Control’s situation, to say the least. -
Same, my main characters just don’t stop making Incarnates. I like having a full tray of extra alternate T4’s.

You rejecting the widely accepted standard gaming paradigm of solo-friendly vs team-friendly archetypes is a completely separate issue.

Risk vs reward is just one variant of input vs output. You can talk all you want about how all the risk is really trivial, but, at the end of the day, the outputs per unit of input are way inflated in AE compared to the rest of the game.
