Go start a TF/SF or a story arc via Ouroboros to make you lower level, then go hunt the no longer grey enemies.

This is a self-fulfilling prophecy though. Not spending time fixing things is the reason for the low population. Even when Mercy Island was laid out the way the OP is asking for, red side had a low population count. It isn't Mercy Island that causes red side to have a low population count, it is being a villain that causes it. You can even see it on the thread discussions about how to improve red side's player presence where multiple players responded with there is nothing that will entice them to even try red side because they don't like villains. So your reasoning here doesn't stand up.

What end game content has it disabled, by the way? I just tried doing incarnate stories and I still have access to Throwing Knives, Blackwand, Nemesis Staff, and Sands of Mu.

When you are in a league but on different teams, you will each earn xp as fast as your respective teams. Higher damage teams will earn xp and inf' faster than lower damage teams. That said, I have to add that what you encountered is not limited to leagues and the differences in teams. I have a friend that we both decided we were going to make brand new characters and level them up together. She made a MM and I made a Dominator. We only played those characters together and we teamed just with each other. And she was always 2-3 bars closer to leveling than I was. (Edit again: Once, I got as close as 1 bar behind her, but at the end of the next mission, I was again almost 3 full bars behind her.) So yeah, there is something going on there. However, being on different teams was the cause of your deviation, most likely.

Origin powers are considered prestige attacks because that was how they were added to the game. They used to not exist. Then, if I remember correctly, they were made available via the prestige market and as a veteran power. (So if you hadn't played long enough you could still get them.)

I can agree with specific things like events having levelless mobs, but not everything. I see no reason for the likes of the Hellions or Skulls to be a constant threat to super powered beings that have achieved what amounts to godhood just so someone can fight them as a threat in the starter zones despite being level 50+3. Some mobs really shouldn't always be a threat. Now if you were asking for higher level versions that were part of something new that justified them being said threat, that I could agree with.

If past is precedent, this will break pretty much everyone's costumes in all costume slots for every character. Every time I saw a costume creator overhaul, admittedly in CO, I had to go back and fix my characters. (Just like power set overhauls did.)

That happens with all pets. Ninjas just run a bit faster in my experience. No mob will quietly stand in a damage patch (any more).

Vanessa Devore mission Infiltrate Cole's Tower bugged
Rudra replied to CommisarCommunism's topic in Bug Reports
It's possible to race past the trigger point in that mission. However, if you head back to the ground floor and head for the exit that way, it still completes the mission. I haven't had that method fail me yet. -

I sit corrected. (Edit: So take heart in that Stalkers can crit enemies even when not hidden depending on how big the team is. The bigger the team within range, the more likely to crit. No Holds or Sleeps required.) -
If you don't put an asking price for it, then it just sits in your stored tab of the AH and can't be bought.

Rudra replied to Mystoc's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Because changing Placate the way you are asking is completely unnecessary. Stalkers get crits when Hidden and against any enemy that is slept or held regardless of what causes the effect or how. Bane Spiders and Night Widows get their crits only while Hidden, but they are also able to double dip in leadership powers boosting their own and their team's effectiveness. Net result? Your request is not something I can accept. And from the way this thread has gone, I don't seem to be the minority voice here. -

Because with all the toys Bane Spiders and Night Widows get, not having access to Stalker expanded crit options seems a fair trade off to me. Edit: As for the sleep part of working on teams? Sure, sleeps tend to be less than helpful outside of constant application powers like Static Field. That doesn't apply to the plethora of hold options we have though. And a held target doesn't get free from DoTs or even your characters critting them. -
Correct. And you will notice that I intentionally did not address that part of your post. That being your line entry 8. What I had responded to was line entry 7. We can spawn multiple objectives off a single trigger. Like I stated in my response, I set up a boss fight that when completed activated 3 collections and 2 boss fights, all at the same time. Your topic for line 7. Your topic for line 8 I made no mention of because you are correct in that to the best of my knowledge, we can't have an objective trigger off multiple other triggers.

Rudra replied to Mystoc's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
No, the real question is why after Stalkers being on teams and finding their Placate less than helpful as opposed to when they are solo and so the Live devs made adjustments to the AT specifically to give Stalkers their crits back while on teams, why you insist that there is no means of Stalkers to use their crits while on teams. Any enemy that is held or slept is open to Stalker's crits. You can have what you are asking for without having to go back and possibly having to change the underlying game engine simply by either having someone with sleeps and holds on the team or by using the available holds for Stalkers in their APP/PPP, available procs, and Judgement powers. -

Blaster snipes, and snipes in general, still require a target regardless. What changes is whether or not they have an interrupt time depending on whether your character is currently flagged as being in combat. So, not comparable. Edit: Even Enflame from the Sorcery pool still requires a target, it just lets you use it on both allies and enemies to harm enemies. And its variable application is the closest thing I can think of to a power that changes its function. -

do people actually slot placate at all though beside the standard one slot it gives you there is your answer how impactful it is viewed by the playerbase. There is a huge difference between a power being impactful and a power being slotted with multiple enhancements. -
While I agree this should be an option, I disagree that it should be the default. There is one. I don't remember which map it is, but I do recall doing someone's AE mission where I had to fight enemies on the Grandville beaches. This already can be done. I just threw an AE mission together to verify. Set the objectives to be activated to share the same trigger. And yes, since I set them to not fade in, those objectives were already there but not able to be interacted with until I completed the trigger objective. (Edit: Just went back and re-tested to see if bosses were different. I started with 1 boss on the map, and when I defeated him, it spawned 3 glowies and 2 bosses just as I had set up.)

If you want to crit targets and not have to wait out of combat for Hide or use Placate? Then either team with someone that has Holds or select your own Hold power(s). Targets currently under a Hold or Sleep effect give the Stalker the crits that being Hidden does. -
While I do agree that the buildings are fairly monotonous, I have to disagree about each part of the zone looking like every other part of the zone. From the polluted water "treatment" area with its massive warehouse facility and the adjacent snake infestation area with its caved in pit just waiting to swallow players, to the fallen Arachnos fort the player has to take back if playing through Kuzmin's arc standing out like a sore thumb, to the grand courtyard where Longbow is holding Arachnos prisoners, to the docks, to the burned out husks near the main city, to the mighty walled city itself; each part of Mercy Island is visually different from the others. It is only really within the walls of the city that everything seems to run together, but that is where the map comes in handy. Each section of the island has its own distinctive feel and appearance, at least to me.

Would definitely love a set of different stag antlers too. Not just for the minotaur head either.

That is true now, but there used to be contacts in Atlas Park and Mercy Island players had to talk to in order to start them. And I'm pretty sure those contacts as assets are still available. The Mercy Island contact was rather a pain to find for a lot of players. Even after being shown where she was, I couldn't remember where to find her because Mercy Island lacks a sewer entrance for Atlas Park. So changing the Mercy Island one to work the way it does now made sense. However, if there being a contact in the zone to interact with is the requirement for players to think a TF/SF is in a zone, then I'm all for putting them back in.
