The only way to find a group is using the lfg channel. Daytime it is hard to find groups. Evening it should be reasonable. U.s. time.

There are sg's recruiting but they are basically all 50s doing lvl 50 content. There are lower level teams. If you do Hollows you can usually recruit a team to join you.

Here's what you should know starting a hero. The bonus powers you got like sands of mu are available from a p2w vendor by where you first appear. You do have to look through their powers to see which ones are free - some attacks, a jump pack, and ninja run. You have 3 basic choices for starting content. The game introduces you to Matthew, a story arc contact. You can go into city hall and talk to the old starting contacts, or you can join a dfb team. Dfb is death from below. A 20ish minute team mission that many players do. If you want to solo go to a contact. If you want to team do dfb.

Some zones have 'instanced' sub zones. Parts of atlas park change depending on your progress in the starting contacts. An area can contain hellions or police depending on whether you have completed a mission. Characters on your team in those sub zones appear greyed out in the team list.

does minimal effects show nothing? I'll have to try it out. Is there a list of which defense sets have a minimal effects setting?

I have a semi-cure. What I have done is determined which level to leave a character at (turning off xp so they stay at that level). So I might level a character to 27 to play on Talos teams. That gives me a sense of completed for characters. So when I make an alt, I level them up until I decide they are done and then park them. I can come back and play them if the opportunity arises. I still create a lot of alts, but each has a bit more life to it than just level 1 and done.

Hard to imagine an AT simpler than scrapper with one set of basically passives and one attack set. Willpower has no click powers and a lot are auto. Claws has no build up, just an attack with a similar effect. So you basically just spam attacks as they recharge. Is any build simpler? And what is the most complicated? I would think a mastermind or a controller.

I would love to turn effects off of defense powers and make them auras. I may not want my ice tanker costume covered in a block of ice.

Eventually everything goes dark. Rad is nice but dark is just OP.

I've had this happen on several teams recently. I've also gone ahead too quickly and been beaten down before the rest of the team arrived. Freakshow is the biggest problem for this when razzing freaks keep the team from moving forward.

I play tankers and controllers, so me playing a tanker is not unusual. But lately I've been seeing other tankers on my teams. I don't know if the changes have made them more popular or just sampling error. So are you playing more tankers since the changes?

WP/katana makes for a great low level tanker. You get AoE at level 4 and by level 16 have mezz protection except immobilize and since you are based on healing not def or res you can tank any villain group. You also have a great END recovery and have no END problem.s But other powersets catch up and surpass it as you level. If you want a level 50, I would go with brute. WP recovery and healing will let you just constantly steamroll. Since you are not res or def based, the higher tanker caps will not matter.

I wish I liked the tone of redside content. There is so much more of it, it seems. And it has so much more variety. What of the redside content so far do you consider "can't miss" that everyone should experience?

Tanker Lvl 17 Willpower/Any Build This is a build for a Willpower tanker level 17 that has decent resistance and self healing, mezz protection, taunt, taunt aura, and no END issues. It can be used with any of the secondaries listed below that all have an AoE attack in their first 3 powers. No Accuracy is slotted, it is assumed you will get the Accuracy buff from DfB or DiB. 1 Mind Over Body - 3 Resist Damage 1 Secondary 1 - 3 Damage 2 Secondary 2 - 3 Damage 4 Secondary 3 - 3 Damage 6 Fast Healing - 3 Healing 8 Rise to the Challenge - 3 Healing 10 Indomitable Will - 1 END Reduction 12 Taunt - 1 Range 14 High Pain Tolerance - 3 Resist Damage 16 Quick Recovery - 1 END Modification Stamina - 3 END Modification Quick Recovery is 30% base Mod and Stamina is 25%, so you can put the slots in Quick Recovery, but then you will not have it below level 12 if you exemplar. so you need to do another raid at 10:30?

I don't know stalkers or dual blades, but I saw a post that stalkers have to use placate as part of the dual blades combo, so that makes it lame for many levels. Apparently once you get high enough you just spam one combo that doesn't require placate so it doesn't matter.

You can edit costumes at trainers. But you can only change sex and sliders at specific icon employees.

I sometimes do missions for 1-4 but generally do dfb. At 4+ I try to team on missions or tfs. If I make it to 22 I slot iOS By 32 I delete and start over because the game is too easy. The most fun is levels 8-16.
