  1. From Crimson in Indigo's story arc, "Missing Melvin and the Mysterious Malta Group", of which the full dialogue can be seen here. As per the attached file, the "they're" should be capitalised.
  2. Personal bases would definitely be pretty awesome, along with more emote animations available for characters, etc.
  3. Time for me to get selling salvage, I suppose...
  4. I didn't see an option for that - could you take a screenshot to demonstrate what it looks like?
  5. I definitely like how the lower levels play as well. Somewhere along the lines the game gets rather fast, which is a bit of a shame - while everything remains viable, it seems like damage at some point outstrips a lot of other mechanics.
  6. @garnetrising I'll throw a few others into the mix: Electropathy Electroregulation Voltage Regulation
  7. As in before the bug? I'm not sure, admittedly - I only began using the power recently. It does work as a quick fix though (in fact, it'd work nicely as a Minimal FX option as @Tuft mentioned above). Glad to hear a more permanent fix might be in the works eventually! It sounds like there's a lot of technical details at play.
  8. Eh...I'm not so sure. It sounds like damage over time as a concept is fine, personally. If the issue is "things are defeated too quickly for damage over time to do much", then it sounds like the issue is the fact that things are being defeated too quickly, not the other way around.
  9. New beta patch came up in an effort to fix this - while the effects definitely don't persist, they disappear almost instantly on casting now.
  10. Electrical Empowerment, perhaps?
  11. The new beta update seems to have resolved this for me - power customisation files are visible as expected.
  12. Exactly what is says on the tin - the recent update results in the Rune appearing for a few seconds, before vanishing. Not quite the expected result: it should last the duration, no more, no less.
  13. I'm pretty sure Faraday Cage can be used whilst mezzed.
  14. Hmm. Personally I'm not entirely comfortable with outright increasing the amount of power pools - the main aim here was to allow for a thematic travel power if wished for without 'giving up' on other pools (compare say a Superman-like character who'd prefer the Fly power pool, who can gain the Hover power without taking up another pool, compared to a Doctor Strange-like character who might want Mystic Flight, who can't do the same). Essentially, I was aiming for an increase in thematic enjoyment without having to make arbitrary sacrifices depending on the theme chosen by a user, with the added concern of avoiding power creep.
  15. What numbers and set bonuses show up in your Combat Attributes window?
  16. Generally, no - it should only apply between a single set; purples are the exception to that, to my knowledge. If you want to confirm though, the "View Active Sets" button in Mids can help point out what bonuses that you're overslotting.
  17. To clarify, you can only receive the effects of a specific set bonus a maximum of five times. E.g. 10% bonus recharge from the purple sets.
  18. The wall you're hitting up against is called the "Rule of 5" - the set bonuses of enhancements can only be received a maximum of five times. After five LotG recharge bonuses, no more will count. You can confirm this by selecting "View Active Sets" in Mids.
  19. So something like turning the power into a toggle that causes you to have the "Only Affecting Self" status effect, building up charges of Static over time, and then launching it on a detoggle?
  20. I can't personally judge - if a person wishes to play in such a manner, then there's nothing wrong with that; they've found their desired playstyle and aesthetic. The superhero/supervillain genre is vast, with room for all kinds of play. That being said, I would not be against looking over power sets and addressing their pain points.
  21. Can report that this is currently still an issue on the beta shard.
  22. Fixed. 😉
  23. I'm in the "fine with it, if there's a cooler sounding name, go for it" camp myself.
  24. I do kind of feel that way sometimes, especially in later stages of the game - excessive amounts of damage can make other, more supportive powers less fun to play. I know there's a joke about the best debuff being dead...but I'm sure there's a lot of people out there who'd disagree with that.
  25. It seems like it has some uses for a last resort treatment for severe depression. ECT does have a large amount of stigma attached to it because of its past uses though.
