  1. Can anyone else tell me if they can still AFK Burn farm? I just don't have enough time today to check all the previous pages. I just did a really short AE on test server, start taking a lot of damage more than I expected AFK with auto Burn and watching it. 4/8 seems to melt me in about 45 seconds from accumulated damage when you could go 15 minutes AFK. Haven't farmed that much in for a few month from working 6 days a week and exhausted to actively farm which I normally do, so went to do a little to farm on test to see these changes and I don't think its viable to do just a single round of Briggs asteroid maps without face planting.
  2. I'm disappointed, would of liked to see some love for Ice Assault. Had a minor rant comparison but power went out, just feels subpar with its mixed attacks no matter how I respec it and with 2 different control sets as well.
  3. Boost range, you can get like 120 range on single targt attacks. Cosmic Burst, its like Blaze or bitter ice blast, heavy single target attack. Its just slower animating than the other 2.
  4. Worst thing to do is slot full +KB in ebery blast And than slot a KB-KD completely ruining the reason for max KB to begin with.
  5. Flight + Hover will allow a LoTG +7.5% recharge and 2.5% defence, a second LoTG if you pick up Evasive manuevers, Sorcery pool is useless unless you group extensively, have seen Spirit Ward taken on all of 1 person in all my time.
  6. Mental Blast and Psionic Lance use the same alternate animation but they are so fugly. Raise the right hand above the head and lean back, it looks so awkward. The gripe is the pose of the body not the blast it self. Psychic Blast set Mental Blast - use the Subdual alternate animation, Bright/Dark Fist Cast Its same animation time. Psionic Lance - use the alternate animation of Dark Blast Moonbeam, same animation time. Open fist out, both quick cast and old animation Scramble Thought - Same fugly animation, but not sure of an alternate pose Mental Manipulation Mind Probe - Melee with an awkward sounding name, but its the same animation from Illusion Deceive but shorter; hand waving. Change to maybe Bonesmasher animation which is 1.27 to Mind Probes 1.33; adjust the damage and recharge. Want to see psi blast from the hands and actual melee punches vs the original.
  7. Illusion would make a horrible master mind set. All your imaginary minions telling you what a great boss. Your own ego is ego stroking you. And your incompetent as a villian mastermind, since its just you. Brute: What's he doing yelling at the air? Stalker: Yeah, about that.... Corrupter: He's having a team building moment. Dominator: *sigh* Just answer the damn question. He's talking to himself!
  8. Question: If you nerf .01% of /Regen, everything in the game gets buff. The lowest bar of the game drops 1 rung of the ladder, suddenly the negative and annoying factors are more tolerable as they go up a rung on the same scale. -perception isn't an issue knockback is actually enjoyed by your team -Sparky caps all resists on a blaster How the f🤬ck he does it is beyond comprehension CuppaJo gets a fresh hot cup Positron stubs his toe in the dark Statesman steps on a Lego How does it do that? 🤔
  9. Fun thing with IOs, you get an effectiveness of 8-10 slots in 6. Crushing Impact in Melee, totals are something like 2ACC/3DMG/2Rech/2Endreduction equal to SO slotting using 6 enhancements. You can also franken slot random sets for no bonus and just play like its ED slotting with those 8 slots packed in 6.
  10. Fire/Kin/fire controller, yeah classic what ever. Flashfire, Fire Cages, Run in with Hot feet, Fulcrum Shift, Fireball; rinse repeat as they melt to Containment. Don't even need to use Winter IO, but if you do can use the inferior version. I used it way back in the day before IO existed, DA when you capped at like 30 I think and just hunted the BP for Prestige for SG. If you max at level 40, you won't have all the slots needed. Best off, just farm at 50 and sell than buy at level 30 or use Attune. Trying to force a level cap is just not worth the effort.
  11. Just the information displayed, when you right click in the power tab that has all your powers and in the power description. does normal Or is it supposed to be a Negative/Smashing attack like Tenebrous Tentacles or Black Star ? Is it missing a damage component?

Too strong, its not game breaking but its over powered for a 3rd slot resist debuff of multiple types. 4th slot 2.5% positional, same thing compared to the Gaussian set bonus needing 6 and thats because of a unique; not to mention its just a cop out of 4 other sets that do the exact same thing. It isn't the actual numbers, its just how its obtained with so little slotting compared to other sets and not because "lol its purple" cause like...wheres the 6% fire/cold they all share?
  13. Throw in /Fire armor and Fiery Embrace, it adds a huge amount of fire damage as a damage component on top. Kinetic Melee/Concentrated Strike did 233 fire damage, max damage cap it was 590 damage; plus the normal Smash/Energy damage. Considering to reroll this toon as Energy Melee/Firey Aura; will hit hard as hell and can animate fast but the resists of a glass cannon.
  14. Go to mids Options -> Configuration -> Effects&Maths tab - Right side there is a box "Suppression" where you can set what causes values like Stealth to default when attacking. Now you can't trip up your build for suppression toggles, Force Feedback individual powers would be easy click and fix.
  15. Blaster Any Damage Range set, preferably fast animation. I haven't even attempted PVP since live but blasters did do a portion of unresisted damage in PVP /Energy Manipulation - Boost range and endurance reduction, good hard hitting melee and very little slotting required for the secondary Flight - out of range Web grenade temp powers to keep the hubby grounded. Orange resist inspirations to protect against teleport, if he happens to have it. Also as he is willpower, thats a weakness there since he needs bad guys around him to boost his regen off the toggle. Might of been harder if he was /regen but I don't know, I never got into CoH PVP.
  16. Check the IO sets sometimes, it helps to understand attack types. Frost is actually a range attack in the Targeted AoE category very much like Fire Ball or Fire Breath Cleave is a melee PBAoE a limited by a cone direction with distance and could be set from 10-360 degrees such as in the case of Whirling Axe or Foot Stomp.
  17. Soul Noir Alt has an alternating hand animation, the left hand raised like original Gloom or two hands push forward like Umbral Torrent (not the the hip sweep forward like most of Ice Blast Alternates). 1 of the alternating cause the 2 hand blast to go to shoot forward from the original Gloom left hand held out and the right held at waist level; which looks awkward. Basically Soul Noir Alt has 2 random animations and its annoying to look at. Can we get a Soul Noir "Alt 2" for Darkblast: Gloom which cuts out the left hand raised with right hand at waist level and just does a double push out from chest level like Umbral Torrent. Hell, I would like to see that double push from chest level from Umbral Torrent and Tenebrous Tentacles without the shadowy ground effect. The double small ball of dark energy seems like it would fit better.
  18. Snarky can run every toggle in game....except sprint which leaves him gasping for air.

Broader level range and buff some of the values, Range blasts don't have a +Recharge on the 5th bonus at level 50 cap set and the 2 sets with the +Rech cap at 40; the IO value for the SO value is lower in comparison to what melee get. What I am saying, the Melee set Crushing Impact has the exact same enhancement values as Range Thunderstrike. The IO bonuses on the other hand, are weaker for Range Thunderstrike and I would like to see the 4th/5th bonus be +7ACC/+6.25% recharge. The two Range set Entropic Chaos is 4 enhancement values (5th being a proc) and Decimaton are lower in comparison to their enhancement value. And range set bonuses are weaker in comparison to melee. Range sets get very little defense while Melee sets get a ton of typed and positional, range has like 5 defense all together at slot 5 and 6 while their values are 1.88% a few at 2.5%, while melee sets have some at slots 3/4/6 and they are 2-3.75% of various kinds. I would like to see a slight revamp to range sets, a some defense instead of resist and a few tiny +1-3% range bonuses not on the ATO. With just 3 sets and 9% range bonus...Blaster "defense is at range"

Assuming ED type slotting, level 50 IO (unboosted, don't care if you want to min/max) 3 Toggles - 4 slot, 3 Defense 1 End 3 Passive - 3 slot, Defense Endurance cost .78 - With Sprint toggled on, using base slot and 1 endurance reduction 3/4 of 1 endurance point Did you slot endurance reduction in your attacks? 🤔 With both Tough and Weave Endurance cost is 1.21 - With Sprint toggled on, using base slot and 1 endurance reduction 1 1/4 endurance point Did you slot endurance reduction in your attacks? 🤔 Thats doable even with SO if you want to macho it and play Iron Man Hard Mode (Blue Steel Mode can only be beaten by Chuck Norris) The strengths of Super Reflexes is +60% resist across the board when going MoG mode, low endurance cost, and you can shift your extra slots to primary and power pool selections. Ninjitsu goes crunch if defense fails, Shield is also limited and can't use 6 primaries which is a weakness itself (sort of pseudo weakness). Energy Aura...meh its got typed defense but its heal blows because its part regen which fails when a -regen hits it, so its in the ninjitsu category. Tried Bio, either I did it wrong or not but its too crunchy; maybe need controls like knock downs. Hell if you want something different, roll Something /Fire Armor and skip burn; the resists on in the same category as SR in my opinion so its a glass cannon vs anything not fire. I have a SM/Lethal defense build and getting a kick out of the damage bonus from Fiery Embrance, Kinetic/Fire gets 150% damage from KM side which its basicallly a combo system to maintain. Swap the damage bonuses between Embrace and Power Siphon DM/Fire gets a simple drain +DMG for 30 seconds, Embrace is 20 seconds. Over lap damage bonuses A brute can go MA/Fire and skip eagle claw, asinainly fast attack chain with sub 1.5 sec animation kicks and only animation redraw is when you put the shoe back on.   24. This isn't a market post, but Im not getting yellow salvage unless I wait. Went from a 5k bid to 50k bid and nothing, 100k it bought 1 but too expensive to keep buying. Is someone is flipping the salvage? I thought that was impossible, the supply is just over 10m and barely moving.
