City of Heroes isnt a "dps" game, there are so few things in this game that have a dps check requirement and even then, due to how.. "industrialized" the server/project has become with the easy access of incarnate things it makes personal dps even more moot. Even in warcraft there were people who just sat around all day whacking a target dummy as well as their own genitals because of how high dps they can get through a very specific way of doing it generally do not perform as well in practice because of factoring in of being out of range, or phase change, or invul period or even the targets armor and resistances. here we blow up billions of minions a day and move of all we keep moving around most of the time. this is why i disregard pylon or theorycrafters most of the time because those are just.. not the core of city of heroes -

and if this was city of target dummies/plain jane dps checks with enrage timers i would be scared and worried to. but this games play goes by super fast, bosses and elites die quick and avs get lore petted on and what raids we have generally come with an alternating/planned cycle of dropping lore pets -

In.. target dummy theory this is amazing and mind blowing. but in practice when you barely have enough time to hit a boss 3 times with single target attacks most of the time this does not change much We have this thread at least once a month because nova form just hits harder, plain as that without math or deep mechanics. people want that extra power without giving up their outfit people dont suggest other alternate looks for forms people dont suggest buffing human damage people just fucking suggest a nochange option every fucking month actually now that i think about it retooling human damage and target caps might be a healthy alternative. no one is raving about sentinels but people play them now. having armor and ranged attacks didnt end the world or cause the world to be taken over by sentinel supergroups. but then again we do have regular threads about people wanting sentinel aoes to target 10(cone)/16(taoe/nuke) targets so buffing khelds now would only lead to people complaining about that later so screw it screw all of it -

because cosmetics are a cover they want POWER and cosmetics mostly the power because if that is not true why not just stay human or roll a sentinel if they want ranged+armors? In 20 or so years this the first time I am hearing of this. and i dont know what to do with it because nova blast and nova eye endlessly cycled with enough recharge is more damage than watching a human kheld animate incan strike -

Scroll down to Damage Scale by AT https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Damage I know Nova/Kheld the AT are the same character, but they have vastly different damage mods/scales/base/whatever And because of this uniqueness a lot of people think dark nova scatter(cone) and human form scatter(cone) are the same thing, but they are not -
Its 29. they go away at 30. I had this idea to play a character only once a week or so for WSTs so i can keep START Boosters + Shivian bonuses and was very upset when I leveled up to 30 and they went away So you wouldnt run it twice/join just because/helping someone elses group and get a little something?

While DFB does not need much help I was thinking of other rewards for other trials and triallike things Drowning in Blood, SSB, etc 5-25 merits with 18hr lockout. no diminishing returns 3~ bars of patrol exp instantly granted with 18hr lockout. no diminishing returns. or maybe do that variance thing based on level like with what you did with exploration badges.

Go Kin/fire stalker or kin/bio stalker if you cant wait for the revamp. my guess is the low damage from the set comes from the idea on how siphon power worked. to not only balance itself out but be unique. but in practice its just terrible because of how mobile this game is and how fast things die and the short duration on the siphon stacks. --- ugh and then chance to not build stacks on a hit, and no stacks at all on a miss, and a single stack after using an aoe

To double dip into the additional bleed effect thing: Shred also having an additional lethal dot can simulate Shredding harder/faster at 5 stacks

Ideas to get Storm Cell to move its ass

I just want to be able to use Jet Stream without knockback or repel and storm cell blocks it. i dunno whats going on -
I say go KM/fire Kinetics can build heat and you can use Burn to expel the heat. KM/fire is just my goto for whenever I just wanna kill things as a Stalker Energy Melee is ok but I still dont like the new Cone attack even tho the rest of the set lays waste to single targets

I wanted to touch this character up like moving the end/rech out of Maneuvers and replace it with Red Fortune: Def and move that 6th slot over to train ninjas and that extra slot in Assault also to train ninjas. but i dont have it in me to move a few slots nindarkmm.txt

Individual lockouts from Blood Frenzy on each power. Time unknown on lockouts since this is just a spitball thread New: Savage Strike to give 1-3 stacks of blood frenzy. New: Shred: Wider and Longer range on 5 stacks. Lockout can be called Exhausted New: Hemorrhage. An additional bleed on 5 stacks. same damage increase on the original bleed is still there. Lockout can be called Sated. Same-ish: Rending Flurry: Lockout can be called Dizzy Also if crits can be 50% or 75% damage, can they go above 100%? like 120% or something on the bleed powers to compensate bleeds now not being effected by crits, but effected by +dmg buffs
