yeah thats the problem with the highest thread being highlighted off to the right for all AT boards. well OP check out fire/trick arrow. anything from glue arrow + rain of fire to rain of fire+oil slick is fun
-
the wellest pairing is /psi the second most wellest pairing is /energy /psi to stay ranged and push +rech enough for perma psyche, access to another cone and/or a PBAoE /energy for maximum single target
-
The -res isnt really justifying its lower damage. I mean hell, [Wall of Force] does more damage than Shockwave, and shockwave does less damage than [Howl] even with its -res on The only time you will see someone praise Siren's Song is some soloist sleeping a group and picking things off one at a time Consider bumping up Shockwave and Siren Song's damage up a bit

I never went full blown maximum +rech on a regen before. To anyone who has done it, is it worth it?

I wish the Tech weaponry had the little energy orb back where it was suppost to be

Screenshot was without dull pain. even with it on its still pretty meh

set bonuses. they are just so small and pathetic and even if they were doubled right now, its still teeny weeny. even the procs are rather small x3 set bonuses x2 procs Also get rid of that in/out of combat mechanic for the +regen (hosp) and +recovery (pocket d) dayjobs. For those that dont know what is or isnt "combat" think of that 6 or so second window for Stalker/VEAT Hide and Blaster Targeting Drone orange circle I got bored and decided to slot up a second build to see what it would look like slotting for regen/hp/rech

Even at maximum regen, it still takes 10 seconds to fully heal. Remember, everything is % based and server ticks Maybe pre-issue 4 there was no regen cap Maybe pre-issue 4 regen ticks were faster than 1 second Maybe pre-issue 4 we didnt have +4s all the time But current city of heroes is no place for regen. Willpower and Bio does so well because they just dont get hit as often and if they do they have moderate resistance to back them up. Not getting hit in the first place is the hard meta that no amount of buffs, changes or tweaks to Regen will ever make it viable. And before you chime in about that one time you kinda made regen work with your IO slotting, then you are more inventions than regeneration. That said, a heal over time mechanic (nature, time, etc) with low but fast (and filterable numbers above your head) healing ticks would thematically fit the set and get around the hard regen limits

I been using LFG and various other forms of travel since day1, so this is a legit question. What in the ever loving fuck can happen in a base that requires GM intervention? Did someone show up as a wolf to a catgirl party? Is someone using the panhandling emote near some storage racks? Someone using portals without thanking the owner?

Play a Sentinel. Even if you got what you wanted it would still cost end, but without the protection. This has been discussed many times before. Even then when you get into the 30+ range and finalized builds you can have perma lightform and eclipse etc and so on

Reserve your skuls based meme name if the devs ever implement minion customization now while you can Thug/whatever. hellion arsonist, outcast punk, skull punk, 5th enforcer, council enforcer, freakshow tank bruiser. Merc/whatever, theres enough "gunners" and such to fill in the blanks and go where you think i am are is adn

The many times I have seen Babbage not spawn was when a large group of people was waiting outside at all possible locations for him to spawn around the $loc'ed door. So in the scenario when the door is swarmed what does happen? 1.) Babbage says nah because enemies dont normally spawn on top of players - spend some time street sweeping and afk after clearing out a parking lot, things generally wont respawn on top of you 2.) Babbage uses the nearest available spawn point and out of range kicks in 3.) Babbage uses the nearest available spawn point that happens to be near a drone

What are the rules? summon range, do they hurt you in a sense you now have spiked knuckles or a way to grapple/climb Something brutal like some toothpicks in the brain to something comical like a stepping on lego scenario Helium Manipulation

Make "Traps : Trip mine" work like in Devices
kelika2 replied to Wifibee's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I would probably make a traps corr if this happened. also might be interesting on masterminds -
How.. many lore pets were out?

Widow spec I am not worried about at all, even as lethal damage their damage is great. Banes I can see being meh. Slow animating attacks across the board is what kills it for me. Those ranged attack animation times coupled with level placement of powers makes it hard as fuck to tolerate Bane spiders
-
having 3 or 4 moderate damage attacks isnt as good as you think it is and in a world of heavy psi resistant enemies like arachnos, undead ranging from vahz to vampires and robots.. yeah its not great. But taking the past into consideration this thread is going to turn into a fight that boils down to "just play widow" and a lock
-
the Light classed damage attack? yeah its underwhelming. its doing less damage than subdue, and less damage than mental blast because of the smashing damage portion Reminder that if an AT shares an attack with another AT does not mean they do the same damage
-
Telekinetic Blast, bump it up to Superior or Extreme, its partial smashing damage will balance that Dominate can be set apart by giving it High or Heavy damage Scramble Thoughts as well might benefit from getting knocked up to Moderate or High May have gotten the names wrong because I THINK its: Minor>Light>Moderate>High>Heavy>Superior>Extreme And I guess all versions of Psionic Tornado can get their animation and damage tick speed amped up

I just ended up killing everyone in the DLCs. Started with one accidental kill in Lonesome Road with the And Stay Back! perk to Ulysses, then some not-so-accidental coin shot to joshuas head, some buckshot to Daniel. Right now I am just trying to get revenge on some brains in a jar. Cowboy + Shotgun Surgeon + Crits + And Stay Back!

But its not. Between IOs, Incarnates and those brave enough to touch Inspirations, people are rather tough as it is. I never once had a group break up because there was no defender around. And the difference in damage output from the corr greatly outweighs the 25% difference in buff/debuff strength. Maybe, just maybe, sub level 30 when folks dont have their IO sets on or a batch of fresh players then i can probably see a Thermal defender being a king. But in the industrialized game-world we are in now when we can level alts to 50 in hours and buy stuff on the mark oh god when the fuck has a mind been changed by the forums ever here we all are three fucking years later doing the same shit over and over again. maybe it was because I said 100% and not 99.9% like they do in the commercials to avoid getting sued but at some point we have to sit back and

There is already no reason to play a defender because the buff/debuff difference between corr and def is 25%. So technically, they already are due to player population alone.
