people spend at least a few hundred million per alt to perma hasten them. For some folks, theres no other way to go If ALL knockback powers were reduced to say .30 mag, they would be knockdown by default it would make use of the unused knockback sets also add incentive to add more orange even purple sets to Knockback Think of the theoretical possibilities of making everyone happy -

That is a good idea actually, taking away just enough knockback magnitude from every power with knockback. Doing this will make use of said knockback sets for people that actually want knockback. Worked for Perma-hasten -

I think all "hybrid" sets have that "half power" feeling, like Synapes Shock only goes up to 50-60% dmg, while still doing endmod Now we are getting somewhere on the road to healing and self actualization. No, I think giving it just raw smashing damage proc is more than enough. Giving it +dmg like Overwhelming Force: KB2KD would diminish that set as a whole and maybe hurt the SBB economy -

Add incentive for naysayers to consider putting it in their attacks And stop people from using the word tax. And the smashing damage keeps in theme as falling on your ass causes smashing damage. The universal set is more advanced as it still adds damage. Still worthy of being Unique -
Add a Smashing damage proc to it in addition changing knockback to knockdown.

Start carrying around a power analyzer temp power from the P2W vendor, the -tohit isnt as big as you think it is and a great many resist debuffs, moreso if you factor in level differences. even if I had an extra slot and 25 extra merits i wouldnt even 50+5 -tohit in rttc. even stacking it with muscle radial paragon would something.. soemthing hmm

If ya got the cash/slots, consider microfiliment hamis. if not frankenslot the Universal travel IOs in. most of my infiltrators are in the 80mph range and enough jump height/control to really get around. And those with [Quickness]/variants are in the 90mph range 2/3 and 1/3 of the universals is enough, 3/3 microfiliments is just gravy

Ninjas attack quickly. Endurance Reduction reduces end cost in all mastermind pet attacks. Even with 70%~ end reduction in Genin, without outside help, they run out of end eventually. This is NOT worth picking your secondary based on end recovery.

Even at max regen available, you still dont heal anywhere near as fast as pre-pvp. Regen really needs a heal over time (nature, time) added to reconstruction or fast healing to use in conjunction with its regeneration to overcome the games hard limit on regen per tick

If you have other people to protect your pets, kinetics isnt a bad idea As for empathy i personally never would. even with perma hasten you can only keep 4 targets fortituded and thats just not enough and pets tend to die in one or two hits meaning your chances to heal them are not great

I had a team teleporting mastermind about a year ago. zombies are slow, they have this animation they HAVE to animate if they fall a few inches and root themselves during it and I thought I was also being a no intent to grief by binding team teleport to powexecname location. You can have honest intentions all you want, or claim innocence but cmon, we both know at some point you seen a Storm Summoner jump into the middle of a mob and say "TOHIT DEBUFF" Just because you can, does not mean you should. -

They also put in team teleport, group fly, adding runspeeds to speed boost and so on. But look what Null can do now Fun does not always have to come at someone else, or a groups expense. KnockDOWN does the same thing, but without the grief. My energy/energy blaster is highly playable because I can knock stuff DOWN and not chase after my own mobs to punch them I wanna make it super fucking clear that I love KnockDOWN. From Ice Slick to my khelds nova burst. -

What did kinetics give back when other folks opted in to removing the +movement/+jump from speed boost/inertia? What did players give back when they can change their alignment instantly? What did flying beastmasters and teleporting necromancers etc -

There was nothing that conveyed that in the post at all. Even then, a power creep and the theoretical option to remove an annoying mechanic temporarily are two different things -

There is also a chatbox and an email system that I can use to create spam, which is a form of grief. Just because you can, does not mean you should. Theres no way anger was not used when you rant like that. Your first point was being angry at the ability to make people chase mobs from the knockback you created. One or two mobs in a random group being chased down isnt so bad, but in task/strike forces and flashbacks you are stuck with some people sometimes for extended periods of time is what eats at peoples sanity The middle part of your post was just getting angry at Null for stuff he cant do (yet) while avoiding all the things he can do that other players hate, such as team tp/fly/etc that @Bill Z Bubba addressed And the end of your post was just.. like an angry acceptance that knockback is a pain in the ass to a great many people. -
