What is the relationship between Rogue Isles and The US?

No! Unheard of ... ...well... wait... that's the only thing I spend merits on.

Could add that Wildcat flavor in with the Fighting Pool if you really wanted to add in the Wildcat influence factor on top of her innate Krypton powers which I would figure would be the base to build on. I would see Kryptonians as tanks and not brutes, but.... I would go with Super Strength and invulnerability for the old school. These days the DC take on Kryptonians definitely seems to see them having regen and often super reflexes to avoid being hit at all. I would suggest the Presence power pool. Because obviously, Power Girl has presence. I'm sorry to hear that she passed away. I have been a Power Girl since back in the 70s, but I have to say my favorite run was "Starting in July 2009, Power Girl received her first ongoing series, simply titled Power Girl (vol. 2), with the first twelve issues written by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray, drawn by Amanda Conner,[10] and colored by Paul Mounts.[11][12] According to Comic Book Resources, the series has been "wildly praised for its fresh and fun approach."[13]" -https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_Girl

what level was the character? Is this possibly some incarnate power?

Is there any way for us to learn our Supergroup IDs?
UltraAlt replied to BlackSpectre's topic in Help & Support
The macro /macro macroname "enterbasefrompasscode name-number" can teleport you into the base if you are close enough to a base portal. If you are in a coalition (or frequently use a base for a supergroup that you aren't in) then you can click that macro instead of manually entering the passcode when you have the option to enter it. -
"How do I get out of Atlas?" - says the level 50 AE Baby in the days before the Sunset. Are talking about would I run AE missions? The whole farming/PL thing has put a lasting bad taste in my mouth for the AE which is a real shame. The AE has massive potential. People write great arcs for it that are not for farming/PL'ing. That is what it was created for. The AE was not created to be used for farming/PL'ing. I have written arcs for it. More than I can publish and I rotate them sometimes, but no one plays them unless I run them. I have only written one new one since I have been on Homecoming. I loaded up my missions from live. Honestly, my new arc had political content and I just made it to play with a friend to be cathartic and would never post it for other players. For some, this is also the way that they get around copyright issues (but I'm sure that there still might be some X-men AE missions lurking around). Of course, if you don't publish it, it means no XP. That doesn't mean it isn't fun to play (for everyone). Some are only playing for the profit and not to enjoy the game play. (eg. grinding from 35 to 50 on ITFs) I have to question why being on an AE Farm is "more people to team with". What do you mean by that? I think the XP is only part of the issue. If farmers weren't harvesting influence, then there would be less power-leveling. I say that because the level 50's would have less of a reason to be in the AE if they weren't making influence. Without the level 50's there, there would be less PL'ing going on. And, yeah, the tickets would still be there, so maybe they would have to be nerfed or removed as well to curb the PL'ing. 35 is usually where I'm winding down my characters to explore other builds/concepts. When I get into the mid 40's, they just kind of are there to run higher-level teams or monster hunts if I decide to join them. The level 50's get stuck in the back of the closet to get pulled out when they are really needed. I just don't enjoy the end-game. At all. Why is that? Why do you "play little enough as it is now"? Have you played through ALL of the lower level content? There is a lot of it. Far more than there is end-game content. Have you tried all the power sets through the lower levels? All the combinations of powerset? Tried out using different pool powers? Are you a character conception player, or are you just playing some generic level 50+ superpowered pawn that you move about THE CITY? (Starkness for little wake up on that. You may be playing less because you aren't enjoying or invested in the game. You only coming to play as a force of habit due to subconscious addiction. Perhaps you are looking for interaction with others and the forums are more entertaining than end-game content?) Oh, so the game isn't worth playing if the servers aren't merged? Why not simply move your character(s) to Excelsior if you are looking for higher population? (even Everlasting generally has a decent sized population). Most of my characters are on Torchbearer. I'm there mainly because that is where my friends that were already playing made their characters. One of my friends plays there because it is lower population because they have internet connectivity issues. I tend to duo with them and a couple of other friends when they are on, because my friend dc's and has distractions that can pull them away from the keyboard without much notice (which isn't much fun for other players on bigger teams). Torchbearer at this point usually has a decent population for my tastes from primetime until about 3-5 hours later and it drops off some. There is some activity going on all night most nights. (I play at night) I really like teaming up with people on Reunion. I don't think I have been on a single team over there that I have had issues with what was going and they really seem to enjoy being on the teams that I lead. Due to my sleep cycle, I'm not able to get on at a time when there is much of a population, but I still go over there from time to time to see what is going on (and to rotate AH stock...) I have had characters on Indomitable probably within the first month or so being back with Homecoming. It may have been longer, but time is getting weird as I grow yet even older. I can't say that I have ever been on a team outside of a DFB on Indomitable. I'm not even sure if I was even able to get an DFB going over here. I made like 4 characters and leveled them up to between 18-26 solo. Always looking at the LFG and doing a search to see what levels were on to see if it might be worth trying to recruit. If I was on a DFB over there, it was because I recruited for it. I'm kind of rambling at this point, but my point is, that there are teaming opportunities. Perhaps grinding and running only end-game content is part of the issue. If you can't find a team. Recruit for one. Most people are scared for leading for some reason (probably because when you recruit for something there is always seems to be at least one level 50 that wants you to give them the star once you have filled the team.) If people don't take the risk to recruit, then who is asking for people to join their team? Some people would stop playing. Other people would keep playing. I think this would be the majority. I do think that the Influence and ticket rewards are the reason that people farm. Farming and PL-ing aren't the same thing. But Farmers (for influence and tickets) need bigger teams for bigger rewards. Hiring doorsitters with the reward of being PL'd is helpful to farmers. The two go hand-in-hand for the corruption of the AE. But all this really goes back to .... If you don't play much, and your modus operandi is to PL to 50 (assuming in the AE), why are you bringing up removing XP from the AE?

Okay. I'll try to claim some converters. I never use the things. @Tenebrose Okay, I bought 2 card packs, opened them, claimed a converter, bought 2 more packs, opened them, claimed a converter, bought 2 more packs, opened them, claimed a converter ... no slowdown on my end. But I did make the mistake of doing one round of "get all inf" before buying the first round of packs.

Well, okay. What is that all about?! I'm working on my Tech character and Tony Kord won't talk to the character to give the character until they hit level 9. Then when the character hits level 9 and talks to Tony Kord, he gives you another tech contact, Carla Burnelli. Seem okay, correct? Carla Brunelli is a level 10-14 Tech contact so she won't talk to you until you hit level 10?! Sort of makes sense I guess, but all the other level 10-14 Origin contacts gave the characters missions at level 9!

I thought he did that. When he found it he would stick it lead chests and throw it into the ocean or fling it out into space ... or find some other way to hide ti from Lex Luthor.

I had 150+ characters. It was 10 market slots per character, I had the max character slots per server, characters in very slot, and all were working the market. I have 128 characters some with at or heading on 200 slots. would say probably half of them maybe full of purchases, sales, and solds. I have reigned it in recently because I want to play more. I probably rotated through 2-5 characters goods in a day at this point and those are my main trading characters versus the ones that I rotate goods on when I get around to playing them. I play at odd times, and I can even tell when I'm putting stress on the market at those low population times, so I can only imagine what you guys are doing to the market during prime times on weekends. I don't think the Homecoming servers can handle the number of players that the live servers could.

Okay. I'll try to claim some converters. I never use the things. Do you remember what kind of items you claimed? I have a whole lot of card pack items in email. Generally, I'm only pulling and using or pulling and storing enhances. I don't pull out more than 100 so merit at a time, so that's pretty much nothing. I pull out about 100 brainstorms at a time when I do that. Everything else is piecemeal. I have a huge surplus of unslotters, converters, etc. I would have to pull and store at another base to check this. My ATO storage base is pretty much full at this point. Have you been opening any Winter packs? I have had no need to buy any of those since the end of the even where I had hundreds of the things and stockpiled a base full for my alts.

I don't know how powerful the current servers are compared to "live" do you? I don't think they can handle the player load that the "live" servers did. I play on all the servers, but mainly Torchbearer and Everlasting ... and, honestly hardly at all on Indomitable or Excelsior ... and I like my characters on Reunion, but it has been hard for me to find a team on their lately... but I digress.... I spend way more time than that marketing. I don't measure the time I use to open card packs, some some weeks it is far more than that and I'm not having the issues other people are having. I'm guessing that over the last week i have bought 30-45 H/V and 30-45 V/R (or is it R/V?) packs. Opened them all. And sorted out archetype enhances for my archetype enhance storage base and sold some of the archetype enhances that I know that it is highly unlikely I will be using in the future (I just don't enjoy some archetypes as much as others). I had one slow down for maybe 30-45 second pulling one of the many enhances I pulled out of card pack email. I had no slow down opening card packs. I should be getting hit as hard with this as anyone else if it is just about opening packs and pulling from email. I think it definitely has to do with some kind of behavior in-game that is triggering the lock-ups. Meanwhile ....

Teams these day simply don't need rezing as much as they used to in general, but I still see times where nearly a whole team fall and Howling Twilight would have save day if the character hadn't just recently used it as a disorient.

sure. You made my point.

Since I'm running on flat, I think I can do most of it without cutting off the xp gain. When I get up to about 8.5, I cut it off. You can't get the next contact until 9. I'm working on my Mutant character now and I have have completed the 5-9 contact and was just a little over level 8, but didn't have to run alternate content on that character because I wasn't getting sent on hunts that I had to level up in order to complete. When the game came out it was much clearer, and it sent you down that path to learn about the origins. Everything started getting merged together later on ... kind of like everyone get sent to Praetorian contacts in First Ward and Night Ward when you hit like level 25-35. Not sure just what level that starts off hand. An Icon(s) on the contact to indicate what kind of contact they are would make it easier if it appeared both during selection and when you talk to them as a contact. Like an Origin symbol, hero/villain/praetorian symbol, etc. You can kind of figure it out by reading their info, but, as you have stated, it isn't always clear. You are better off finding something to craft and sell and save your merits for enhancements that are pricey on the market. If you don't understand crafting, the university tutorial is well worth the time.

Removing shared XP range limit outside
UltraAlt replied to Neoplasm's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
You are far enough away that you can not engage of any thing that they are fighting nor risk of taking damage from any mob that they are currently engaging. I don't think you should be able to park your level 1 in a safe place in Peregrine Island so that you can be power-leveled by a team of 50's (or your alternate account for that matter) that are street sweeping. The game says that it is close enough. But I have to go to the above. I don't like doorsitters. I kick them from the team. If they need to go eat breakfast or something, they can do that standing outside of the mission. The point of the game isn't to be power-leveled. It's to actually play the game. There is no need to argue the fact. I know full well that some players don't think they are actually playing until the are in the end-game aka level 50, because we all know that most of the game content is below level 50 (if not in the AE at this point) -

Help! Can't install Island Rum on my old MacBook Pro

Someone should be with you before too long. @DoctorDitko might be able to help. I'm assuming you tried the basics: deleting it, check for OS updates, restart, and then try a reinstall?
