  1. What?! Now you're trying to change the subject? Are you implying that these steam-cleaning machines have been given citizenship in Paragon City as well?
  2. Apparently, Portable Workbenches have lost their free will and can only vote for Spanky because that is what they were programmed to do when they were built at Southern United Manufacturing Company. Portable Workbenches being helpless yet "unkillableNPC" is just further proof of the Nemesis plot! I mean, they MUST have SOME kind of sentience if they are going to be considered citizens, correct? I wouldn't think that babbling back programing installed by Southern United Manufacturing Company would count as sentience! When did this law pass to give machinery citizenship status happen anyway?! I mean I remember when it was decided that Corporations were people, but machinery as citizens?!
  3. New blast set proposal: Nature Blast First off, I think we already know what "Nature" means in THE City, and that is why I clicked to check out this thread. With "Nature", I'm expecting plant or spine SFX like the rest of the "Nature" powers. The way it is listed it is definitely more of a "Druid" power set than it is a "Nature" Blaster set. Most Blaster power sets have a set theme (secondary effect) that most of the powers have. There are some sets where the damage types vary. To me, it would obviously be toxic, but I think it would be an interesting secondary effect to be a minor stackable entangle. Mixing Earth, Wind, and Fire (and electric and cold ... and negative) into it, I could see it more as an Elemental power set. For some reason my gut reaction is that it gives too many damage types to one power set (Looks like you are trying to give it most if not all of the damage types other than smashing and lethal). Smashing, lethal and an another type of damage are often mixed into a power set. I don't know if there is another powerset that mixes this many elemental damage types (all of them apparently) in one set (which in my mind may give it some kind of advantage over the other power sets, but, as I said, just a gut reaction)
  4. Wait. Are you implying that giving machines the right to vote was a Nemesis plot all along?! That THEY were manufacturing machines to vote for them?! Nemesis influence really is everywhere, and I thought the Ebil Marketers were pulling the puppet strings!
  5. Well, Spanky was known for crafting a great election strategy and spreading his influence around during his bid for office.
  6. Most power sets already have some level of this worked in to varying degrees. Some of this also already is mixed in among the various power pools. Also base buffs cover all or most of this as I recall ... I don't use base buffs that often. IO set bonuses ... And then there are inspirations....
  7. With so many sentient robots these days, it is good to finally see machines given their rightful place as citizens in Paragon City. Trusty Portable Workbench! I will be proud to stand in line crafting... er with you, while we each wait to take our turns to vote in the upcoming elections.
  8. Yes. You are correct. However, there IS a giant Council Robot to fight in Boomtown - https://hcwiki.cityofheroes.dev/wiki/War_Machine and the good Doctor seemed to be wanting to fight a giant Council Robot!
  9. that's in Boomtown, isn't it? ... i think the zone starts with a B....
  10. I wouldn't consider someone being a pacifist if they are ordering their minions to attack people.
