  1. Yep. That's how I run it. I side with the Resistance on the Seer 1381 mission arc to free the Seers, but my characters are ultimately Loyalist. They see far more good than bad in the system, and work to maintain law and order while quietly working to remove the bad apples in the background, or at least work around them.
  2. Yeah, that’s why I don’t ever expect it to happen. The Homecoming staff have more than enough on their plate as is.
  3. I would like that and would increase my monthly donation to compensate for the additional server, but I doubt that it would ever happen. If it ever would though, I would also like to see the 1.5x and 2.0x XP temp powers removed, as they are another source of the game being seen as “too easy.”
  4. My mains prior to sunset were a FF/Fire Defender, Thugs/FF Mastermind, and a SS/Elec Brute. I haven’t remade any. I just can’t bring myself to make a Force Field toon with how bad it is today. 🙁
  5. It was needed for SCoRE because it was a very small server. With servers the population of Homecoming, it just doesn’t work IMO. Not without unending new Incarnate content, which Homecoming just can’t provide with its very limited resources. Like I said, it’s a pie in the sky wish which I 110% never expect to happen, but the gifted Incarnate threads and Empyrean merits are having a detrimental effect on the game.
  6. Yeah. I played a few different Stalkers between Issues 6 and 12, and IIRC I kept encountering this issue back then as well and eventually stopped playing them.
  7. This is just pie in the sky wishful thinking, but I would like to see Incarnate threads and Empyrean merits removed from veteran levels. It makes Incarnate abilities too easy to come by and leads to many saying that the game “is too easy.”
  8. Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.
  9. A couple of friends of mine raved about Stalkers for months, so I finally made one a while ago. Fiery Melee/Energy Aura Stalker, level 50. I really do like it, but there's one thing that I really dislike. For whatever reason, Assassin's Strike does not go off sometimes. I don't have any hard numbers, but I'd say probably somewhere around 20% - 25% of the time. I know that I'm in melee range. I didn't move, the mob didn't move, and the animation will start... but nothing happens, and the Assassin's Strike power icon shows that I did not actually use it. Sometimes not even the animation starts. Then I have to hit AS one or two more times to actually land it, and by that time the mob is usually dead already. I never heard of this problem by others, so I thought maybe it was just me or the way that I play, and just stuck with it. But it got annoying enough that I mentioned it to some friends, and one of them mentioned that it happens to her as well. So it's not just me. FWIW, I play by keeping my left hand over WASD, and my right hand on the mouse. I have no idea if that makes a difference, but thought I'd mention it. Any ideas?
  10. Martial Arts was ported to Tankers by Paragon Studios back in Issue 21. The only melee AT it was missing from at sunset was Brutes. SCoRE simply filled in the gap.
  11. There is absolutely nothing that is in PvP zones that is required for PvE. The closest would be the Triumphant and Swashbuckler badges required for the Born in Battle accolade and Weapon of Mass Destruction and Arachnos Rising badges required for the Marshal accolade. That only impacts red side toons. I play red side exclusively, and before Issue 18, I just went without the Born in Battle and Marshal accolades on all of my toons because I refuse to enter a PvP zone for any reason. Good news is that you can now get those accolades blue side by taking a day pass to Paragon City, and then come back to the Rogue Isles when you're done. As for Shivans and nukes, they are not required for even the most difficult of PvE content. The only PvE reason you could have for venturing into a PvP zone is if you want all of the badges in the game. If so, well... frankly that's on you and you have to accept the (low) PvP risks to get them.
  12. Yes. The OP stated that "Now that Homecoming has changed its policy and you can now report PvPers for harassment by engaging in PvP in PvP zones, let's make all zones opt-in PvP." GM Widower clarified that Homecoming has not changed its policy and allowed open season on reporting PvPers for engaging in PvP.
  13. You forgot 3. People who only run Council radio missions.
  14. In the Night Ward mission "In Need of a Hero" from Sir Bedwyr, the Animus Arcana "Life Altering Literature" began attacking Sir Lucane as soon as I started speaking with him. Life Altering Literature kept attacking Sir Lucane until Sir Lucane was eventually defeated. Sir Lucane never attacked back. I've run this story arc quite a few times and I do not recall Sir Lucane being attacked by the Animus Arcana before.
  15. He's right at the Point du Hoc Vanguard compound where many a Rikti mothership raid is formed. See here.
  16. Yep. At the first page of character creation, "Going Rogue" will take you to Praetoria. "Freedom" will take you to Primal Earth.
  17. Yeah, there are a few plaques in RWZ that are not associated with any history badges. That is one.
  18. When I get the idea in my head for a new character, I or a friend make a build in Mids’ Reborn, then I take it out for a spin or two on one of the test servers. If I like it, then I buy all of the attuned IO enhancements that I need as well as all of the purple and PvP IO enhancements. Then I start the character out either gold or red side, depending on my mood. If gold side, then that character will eventually transition to red side at level 35. I then almost exclusively solo to level 45, slotting the attuned IO enhancements that I bought. I only ever team while leveling to run the Moonfire TF for The Atlas Medallion and the first red side respec trial to unlock Arbiter Leery, or I may team to run a TF or SF a friend wants to do but with XP disabled. Once a character reaches level 45, then I PL the character to level 50 with my Fiery/Rad Tanker on my second account because I see no good reason not to.
  19. Uh... Could you imagine the absolute outrage that would occur if a badge was given during an event that only 200 people could attend out of thousands or even tens of thousands?
  20. 1. Welcome to the game. 2. You just necroed a year old thread. 3. Pine's is woefully out of date. You want Mids' Reborn, which you can read more about here.
  21. I hear you. I wouldn't have even looked at another Blaster primary before.
  22. It started in mid-April. Hail of Bullets only does the 30% lethal/fire/cold/toxic damage. It doesn't do the 70% lethal damage at all. I've had to shelve my Dual Pistols characters until it gets fixed.
  23. If you would like, feel free to create a wiki account (if you have not already), and add it to the Dominator page. We could always use the help.
  24. Thanks for all of the suggestions, y’all. I went with Ice/Temporal. Currently level 9 in Imperial City. 😃
  25. I get that a lot when trying to form a Strike Force red side. I'll advertise in LFG: "Silver Mantis SF forming! Level 20+ in Sharkhead Isle." Someone almost invariably then sends me a tell, "I'd like to join. How do I get to Sharkhead Isle?" Simply asking that tells me that the person is playing blue side. I'll reply: "Great! Head on over to Pocket D, and look for a seagull on top of a box truck. It's on the red side of Pocket D. Ask him to make you a Vigilante or Rogue. Then take the door to Sharkhead Isle." I either get a tell a few minutes later: "Sorry, my SG is calling. I have to go help them. Bye." or I don't hear back from them at all. :D Happens I'd say about 80% of the time I try to form a Strike Force.
