  1. Those Defender changes (specifically ATOs and the buff to Vigilance while soloing), were made before sunset. They were in the game when Homecoming launched. So no, that does not explain it.
  2. As long as Mortimer Kal SF is kept as one of the weeklies. 😛
  3. I would just really like it if you could use longer passwords. Sixteen characters just ain’t enough in this day and age. The maximum needs to at least be doubled.
  4. I would really like to see this bug fixed as well. Admiral Sutter is one of my favorite blue side TFs, and people are hesitant to run it because it may bug out. I don’t blame them.
  5. I used Cryo ammunition up until level 35 while soloing Praetoria from Nova Praetoria through Night Ward. It helped a lot with all of those danged ambushes.
  6. It has been bugged since Homecoming started. It only works once every time there is a fresh Kings Row map (like on server restarts), and then stops just like you saw.
  7. I learned a long time ago not to PUG the Abandoned Sewer Trial. Most people have no idea that it actually requires strategy and just think that they can steamroll it like everything else. That usually includes the person leading it.
  8. Dual Pistols is only one of the lowest damage ranged damage sets if you don’t use Incendiary rounds and Hail of Bullets is bugged right now. Testing has shown that if you use Incendiary rounds and Hail of Bullets is unbugged, Dual Pistols is in about the fifth spot for single target DPS, and just behind Fire Blast in AoE damage.
  9. As I said before, I very highly recommend the Faultline story arcs... in Faultine. :D They're level 15 to 24, and start with Jim Temblor. You won't be introduced to him, unfortunately, so most new players (and returning players like yourself), are completely unaware he exists. You have to go to Faultline via Skyway City (or SG base portal), and introduce yourself to him. He'll get you started. I also recommend Laura Lockhart and Graham Easton, both found in Steel Canyon. They're also level 15 to 24, and will not introduce themselves to you. Their story arcs were some of the last added to the game prior to sunset, and are excellent.
  10. Not without hurting their defense and/or resistance, unlike Tankers and Defenders. Tankers and Defenders' innate higher survival lets them skimp on set bonuses for defense and/or resistance that Brutes and Corruptors need, and instead lets them load up on damage procs. There's a reason why you started seeing a lot more Defenders on Homecoming than Corruptors after word of damage procs got out last summer, when it started out more even, (with the exception of all of the Empathy Defenders from new players that only knew WoW and/or WoW-likes).
  11. Damage procs are OP because they let Tankers and Defenders invalidate the Brutes and Corruptors ATs (respectively), with the exceptions of a few edge cases like Kinetics. Tankers and Defenders have always had higher survivability than Brutes and Corruptors; Defenders have always had better buffs and debuffs than Corruptors; but damage procs also let them do more damage than Brutes and Corruptors.
  12. Uhhh... are you looking for something in particular? There are probably thousands available in AE. Fire damage? Smashing/lethal damage? Energy damage? Elite bosses?
  13. I try to run two DFBs around level five for the +Accuracy and +Recovery buffs and the badges, but with XP disabled.
  14. On certain ATs, yes. I believe the last thing mentioned being considered was to tie damage procs’ damage to the AT scalar.
  15. Everyone should have a Hamikini costume.
  16. Welcome back to Paragon City and the Rogue Isles! If you play blue side, a lot of the early leveling experience has changed. Galaxy City was sadly destroyed by a Shivan meteor in Issue 21. Atlas Park is the one and only blue side starting zone now, unfortunately. With the destruction of Galaxy City came a revamp of the blue side lowbie experience. Because there were so many people leveling blue side lowbie alts over and over and over again over the years, people got tired of the same old thing. So now there are multiple ways to level blue side. You have the Shining Stars story arcs with Twinshot, followed by Shauna Stockwell in Kings Row, then you can do the Faultine mission arcs (which I strongly recommend). Or you can do it the old school way with the Hollows, etc. It's up to you. Like Ukase said, there was a new system added around Issue 13, called the Ouroboros Flashback system. It allows you to "flashback" and play low level story arcs via in-game time travel. It essentially acts like your own task force, where you can play the vast majority of the game's story arcs. So you can certainly pause XP like you've been doing, or continue to level and then go back and experience the story arcs by "flashing back" to them via Ouroboros.
  17. There's already a reboot trilogy in the works from the director of John Wick which has been described as "John Wick with swords," soooo...
  18. I have heard rumors that the plan is to put a new building where the Talos Island Arena stood, but that it was put on the back burner indefinitely.
  19. I don’t know. The bug that was on the Homecoming beta server last autumn where Ion Judgement would endlessly loop until every mob was dead, sometimes crashing maps, was pretty nice cake. 😄
  20. Resurgence is the name of the original SCoRE server where Issue 25 was developed. That's why the Resurgence patch notes are being slowly added to the Homecoming wiki.
  21. I should mention it was the August 22nd, 2019 patch that added the new 32 bit and 64 bit clients that introduced the MLTF crash bug. I don't know if it's strictly related to the new 32 bit and 64 bit clients, and using the legacy client for MLTFs would help, or not. I haven't tested that. Regardless, it really needs to be fixed.
  22. That has been a bug in the game since last August. It has supposedly been fixed, but it never was, unfortunately. It's random. Sometimes you can fight the final four AVs just fine. Sometimes one person will crash to desktop. Other times half the team will crash to desktop. It's quite annoying. You can find the first report of the bug here.
  23. FWIW, Atomic is just as blappy as Mental. Perhaps even more so. If you want a ranged secondary, go with Tactical Arrow or Temporal Manipulation.
  24. I think so. Something different and fun between now and Halloween that isn’t the usual zombies/Rikti, and I figure since it was already done before that it should be fairly simple to do again. Then again, I am not a developer.
