You get in via either being in the SG, or knowing the SG base's passcode. As to why wouldn't you just team in the first place? Because I usually play red side (see my avatar), I dislike using Ouroboros to form teams in (too danged many people clogging the entrance), and friends of mine dislike using Pocket D to form teams in. So a SG base could be used as neutral ground for forming co-op LFG stuff in.

I would be extremely against any content that forces a set number of people below eight. I already extremely dislike the Summer Blockbuster and the Halloween trial because of this.

Good advice. It also matters if you're using Wi-Fi in a populated area like an apartment or condominium complex. If you use Wi-Fi in a crowded area during peak times when everyone else in your area is streaming Netflix and using their tablets over Wi-Fi, that may be an issue as well.

Try turning particle physics down to low, and lower the number of particles to at least the halfway point. Also, you may want to consider updating the OS to Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 as I've read of several issues with Windows 7 that I sincerely doubt the developers will get around to fix since Windows 7 reaches EOL in a month.

I ran Rikti mothership raids for years on the Champion and Exalted servers prior to sunset, and have been running Rikti mothership raids on Excelsior since July. I've noticed one substantial difference between "live" and Homecoming that's contributed to a few Rikti mothership raid wipes on Homecoming, including a near wipe last night. There is a serious and substantial lack of AoE mez protection. Often, I am the only person with any AoE mez protection at all. Now, I know that, unfortunately, Force Field and Sonic Resonance are not nearly as popular on Homecoming as they were on live and for good reason. Sonic Resonance in particular is extremely rare. But everyone now has access to the Clarion Destiny at level 50, and still very few seem to take it, and even fewer seem to actually use it. Take it. Use it. You can have multiple Incarnate Destinies. Every character I have takes at least two Incarnate Destinies, usually three. Clarion Destiny is also useful for other things than Rikti mothership raids, like the Lady Grey Task Force and Incarnate trials. Barrier is cool and all, but in a league with Dark, Nature, Time, Cold, et al, it's honestly not that useful IMO. Ageless is cool and all, but recharge and debuff protection doesn't matter much if you're constantly stunned. This has been a public service announcement for the Clarion Destiny. Thank you.

Thugs/Sonic was my very first character on Homecoming back in April, and my very first level 50 character on Homecoming. It all depends on what you want to do with it. I almost exclusively solo to level 43 or so, and it was bit of a bear. Why? No healing. So you either have to sit around and wait for your pets to heal up often, or dismiss and resummon and re-equip them often. But if you level while teaming a lot, I imagine it would be a much smoother ride. At level 50, especially with the Rebirth Radial Destiny, it's fine. My suggestions: Try to work Burnout into your build. Double Gang War against tough AVs and GMs for the win. Take the Rebirth Radial Destiny when you are level 50, it'll help a lot.

Negative, Ghost Rider. The only use Hero and Villain Merits now have is to transfer 50 reward merits at a time to an alt.

Thirded. The only blue side arc that comes close to or even matches the red side arcs is the Faultline story arc, IMO.

People start the TFs in the original locations instead of Fort Trident because Fort Trident is only accessible by those in the Hero alignment. You would be effectively locking out anyone in the Vigilante and Rogue alignments from joining.

Server transfers were temporarily deactivated two days ago for crashing mapservers. The Homecoming development team are working on it though and believe that they will have a fix shortly.
