You could always do what I did. One of the very first things I did back on April 24th was remove the Help channel entirely from the chat tab, and put LFG into its own chat tab. I haven't seen the Help channel since April 24th, and I only see LFG whenever I'm in the mood or want to form something.

There's lots to do. I got my fourth level 50 character last Sunday. In a week, I managed to obtain the last two stat-boosting accolades, seven Tier 4 Incarnate abilities, and a Tier 3 Incarnate ability. Even with all of that, I think he has just begun. Left to do: Do most of the red side and blue side story arcs via Ouroboros. Do most of the red side SFs and blue side TFs. Get most of the various non-PvP related badges. Do the Incarnate trials. Farm Empyrean merits to outfit my next level 50 character with Incarnate abilities when it dings level 50. Run more Rikti mothership raids. Try to solo some GMs. That's just off the top of my head.

Just a reminder that the weekly Rikti mothership raid trial will be forming up in Pocket D in about five hours, y'all! You must be level 35+ and have the Member of Vanguard badge. Hope to see y'all there.

There are no nightly Rikti mothership raids. However, we do have weekly mothership raid trials every Thursday night at 8:30 P.M. ET/5:30 P.M. PT in Pocket D. There are also various impromptu MSRs, mostly in the early afternoon.

What version were those builds made in? Mids' Reborn 2.6.0.3 and higher is a bit incompatible with earlier build files.

It's not a bug. As already pointed out, buy the Reveal power from the P2W vendor, and use that after entering a Mayhem/Safeguard mission map. The badge will display then.

The pre-ED values honestly could and probably should be removed from Mids' Reborn as ED hasn't been a thing in thirteen years. It's just confusing to newer CoH players. However, I'm quite sure that there are far more pressing matters for the Reborn development team. 🙂

I'm beginning to wonder if it is a server-specific thing, 'cause all of the complaints I've read about massive crashes during MSRs are from players on Everlasting or Indomitable.

I think tying reward merits to completion time is a great idea! 48 hour ITFs for 1,440 reward merits, baby!

Unfortunately, Leandro said a month ago or so that the "Join Events in Progress" under the LFG tab is broken, and as far as he and the Homecoming team are able to determine it never worked even prior to sunset. The only way for someone to get into an instanced trial after it starts is for the league leader to directly invite the person to the league. At least there is a way. Yeah. It's a combination of things, with the Halloween event being a big one. We struggled to get enough people to start the MSR trial last night, and wound up queuing with seventeen people. That was after five people left the league to go do other things because they were tired of waiting for it to start. It is what it is.

Yep. That's one of the reasons why I think they've spent so much time on the MSR trial and soon the Hamidon raid trial, so raid leaders can handle griefers on their own by giving them the boot.

All I have to say is that as someone who has lead Rikti mothership raids from 2009 - 2012, and 2019+, who farmed Borea missions on a SS/Elec Brute before sunset and now farms Borea missions on a Rad/Rad Brute, I would have great difficulty not trying to target all Rikti PCs I come across. :P

Indeed. It should cut down on griefing substantially. However, someone else will have to lead the raid trial tests. I just hope that that person has better luck getting testers than I did for the MSR trial tests. 😄

Corruptor primary damage is broken in 2.6.0.5. Fire Blast, Dark Blast, and Ice Blast all have higher damage numbers than in game. Possibly more primary sets as well.

Leandro posted on the Homecoming Discord a few weeks ago that after the Rikti mothership raid trial instance was finished, he will begin work on a Hamidon raid trial instance. Complete with monster hunt. Once that is finished and added to the regular servers, that will be your best bet.

Just FYI, I'm only going to lead one MSR trial run for the next three weeks. The league has been absolutely falling apart after the first MSR trial run the past two weeks to the point that there's only ten or so people left and I have been unable to recruit more than a handful of additional people. I suspect that it's a combination of the Halloween event and competition from the nightly Hamidon raids. So for the remainder of the month, there will only be one MSR trial run. I've run six MSR trials now. Unfortunately, only one had more than five teams. I've been having a lot of difficulty recruiting for the MSR trials the past couple of weeks, due to a combination of issues. Mostly due to the Halloween event and competition from the multiple Hamidon raids that are ran nightly on the Excelsior server. In any case, that one league with six teams had no issues zoning in. The only issue was someone thinking the door at the Vanguard compound at Point du Hoc was a trick-or-treat door and zoned out when he or she clicked on it. We'll see how it goes in November. I did notice issues with inviting people to the league once inside the instance though. Before and during the Pylon phase, no issues. However, it's a crapshoot once the actual raiding of the mothership commences. Sometimes inviting people into the league works, sometimes it doesn't. Regardless, the last zone MSR I've done was back in September, and I don't foresee myself doing one ever again.

I have a personal issue with blue side. I think all of the blue side zones with the exception of Faultline should be removed from the game. Just make Faultline the eighth redside zone. /s

I'm having a lot of difficulty completing this event. After the first few days of the Halloween event, I have not seen any banner teams advertised at all. I'm trying to avoid Peregrine Island as much as possible this month due to all of the zone crashes. I mostly play redside, but I know trying to get a team for anything redside is a struggle at best so for the past couple of days I've been trying to get banner teams going in Talos Island. The most I've ever had was nine people. Banners were unlocked with about ten minutes to go, but it took about six minutes just to destroy a banner. I'm just going to write off the GM badge at this point and try to get the badges for the last two banners by the end of the month.

Striga Isle and Croatoa are the other two zones that give badges for doing all of the mission arcs.

Unless it's a redside DFB team. :(

The slow character list retrieval is a known issue with Windows 7. Since Windows 7 is EOL in two and a half months anyway, I doubt it's on their priority list of issues to fix.
