  1. DC Comics now does have a similar service. DC Universe. It's $75 per year, and you get access to over 20,000 DC comic books and many DC Comics television shows and movies.
  2. You can argue when they draw people in and they have no plan to deal with the 32 bit apocalypse (some of which has already occurred), so those affected have to go elsewhere.
  3. The important thing, IMO, is do any of the other servers run 64 bit clients and servers like Homecoming? 32 bit is a dead man walking.

    Optimal Brute

Invulnerability is a very good armor. You'll be just fine with it. Bio and Radiation are also very good. For primaries, Titan Weapons is currently #1, but it's due for a nerf at some point. War Mace is a very strong second. War Mace/Invulnerability will do you very well. As for Incarnates, the Alpha and Destiny depend on your build. Judgement, Ionic Core is always a good way. Degenerative Core is always a good way to go for Interface. For Lore, Banished Pantheon Core, Carnies Core, or Longbow Core depending on taste.
  5. You are better off taking the T3 versions of Radial Interfaces with a DoT component. On my characters, I have a Tier 4 Degenerative Core Interface (when solo), and a Tier 3 Reactive Radial Interface (when teaming). I've tested the Tier 3 Reactive Radial Interface vs the Tier 4 Reactive Radial Interface, and the DoT triggers much more often on the Tier 3.
  6. I've seen those arguments as well. It makes no sense. Only 50 people can participate in a Hamidon raid at a time, and there are several hundred people on Excelsior every evening. What are the 650 other people supposed to do during that hour? Twiddle their thumbs? I tanked a five person Hamidon raid on a Regen Brute a couple of months ago. That was the last of Hamidon that I want to see outside of the LGTF for a long, long time. Even then, I was never really a fan of Hamidon raids, even though I helped lead them on the Champion and Exalted servers prior to sunset. I know many of my friends think that I'm coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs for this (among many other reasons I'm sure), but my favorite thing to do in the game is a Rikti mothership raid. I'll take one of those over a Hamidon raid any day.
  7. The Skiffy... err... I mean Syfy Channel will kill off any show after one to three seasons that they don't fully own. See Dark Matter and Krypton for examples. It doesn't matter how popular or successful it is. If Syfy doesn't fully own it, lock, stock, and barrel, it has three seasons or less of life. Really, at this point, selling a show to Skiffy is foolish. SeaQuest was on the same day and time as Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, so I never saw it.
  8. Just FYI, a new Stargate tabletop RPG using the Dungeons & Dragons 5E engine is due out in August.
  9. See the thread literally right below this one. -
  10. This. I regularly tank on my Dual Pistols/Temporal Manipulation Blaster, even if there is a Brute or Tanker on the team. I regularly kill whole groups of mobs, so if there is only one or two mobs left, I'm jumping to the next group of mobs, taking the alpha, and mowing them down. Rinse, repeat.
  11. I logged into the forums at home this evening, and at the top it's telling me that my game profile is 0% complete and that I need to create a game account. I clicked "Next", and it took me to a screen to agree to a bunch of different things like a user agreement, privacy policy agreement, yadda yadda yadda. Erm... what's going on?
  12. HostGator is your first problem. Friends don't let friends use GoDaddy nor HostGator. They both have absolutely terrible reputations for very valid reasons. A friend of mine tried running a large tabletop gaming forum on HostGator, and he had no end of issues. HostGator severely oversells their services (that's why it's so cheap), so they'll throttle the heck out of your account if you actually try to use it for anything of value. I eventually had to migrate the forum from HostGator to another Linux hosting service. The monthly fee tripled, but you get what you pay for. Service has been very smooth. The traffic on the forum has quadrupled since the move with no issues. I've only used UNIX or Linux hosts over the past twenty years, so I can't help you with Windows hosting. But, I can tell you that you get what you pay for when it comes to web hosting. If the price is too good to be true (like GoDaddy or Hostgator), run.
  13. IIRC, one of the developers posted a few months ago that the aggro cap is pretty much now hard coded into the game and removing it would break much of the game, if it's even possible at all.
  14. This is true, but Clarion Core leaks less than Clarion Radial.
  15. It mostly happens to me while using elevators in lab missions. One to three Thug pets would get stuck at the lab elevator, and just constantly run circles around it. I dismiss the pet, and it disappears from my pet command window, but it still remains running circles around the lab elevator. I have to dismiss the pet a second time for it to finally go away.
  16. No. The ones around the Vanguard base are all level 35-40. It would be difficult to finish Levantera's missions otherwise, which are level 35+.
  17. Nope. I've been running at least one per week (usually two or three), since the first week of October with no issues. Every time I run an instanced MSR, I have at least one or two people that have never run an instanced version before, and at the end I'm told how much smoother it is than the zone version.
  18. There's no need. People can run the instanced Rikti mothership raid trial.
  19. Core for Clarion Destiny. Banished Pantheon Core for Lore.
  20. I imagine that instanced Hamidon raids would form up in Pocket D or Kallisti Wharf, like instanced Rikti mothership raids. Both are large enough co-op zones.
  21. You're right that there are still new and returning players, and eventually they'll discover that there are daily Hamidon raids every night, and they'll also discover that if they want to participate they need to get to The Hive early. They are considerate of players like you. Everyone has equal opportunity to get to The Hive early and wait. If you don't like it, you also have the equal opportunity of forming your Hamidon raid. What is it that you want? For people to advertise upcoming Hamidon raids, and then for absolutely no one to enter the Hive prior to 10 P.M. ET/7 P.M. PT? Wait for the clock to strike 10 P.M., and enter The Hive in an orderly fashion? Yeah, sorry, no. That's never going to happen. As for "Oh boo hoo, I don't have good leadership skills and I've never lead a raid before. Woe is me." Please. As I've pointed out before, I am not a leader, nor am I a follower. I'm a loner in real life. My "leadership skills" are little to none. Yet I pulled myself up by my own bootstraps, took the initiative, and lead Rikti mothership raids. I also lead a few Incarnate trials before sunset, and helped lead Hamidon raids. That was before I've ever done such a thing. You know what? I floundered the first couple of times I lead a raid. But that's okie. I learned from those mistakes. You will as well.
  22. Hamidon raids are not advertised because they simply do not need to be. "Everyone" knows that Hamidon raids are run on Excelsior at 10 P.M. ET/7 P.M. PT and have been since July of last year. After September, "everyone" knows that you need to get to The Hive early if you want to raid. Like you said, The Hive is full before 10 P.M. ET. There's simply no need to advertise. What would happen if they did advertise is that the zone would simply fill even more quickly and the raids would start even earlier. If this is an issue for you, then the only solution would be for you to run your own Hamidon raid at some other time.
  23. AFAIK, the instanced version of the Hamidon raid is still in the development stages. Last I heard about it was from Leandro on the Homecoming Discord back in late September. I imagine that it's been pushed to the back burner with all of the other stuff going on with Homecoming the past few months.
  24. There will be no Rikti mothership raid trial this evening as I'm still not feeling all that well. Raiding of the mothership will resume next week! God willing that I don't come down with a fourth illness this winter that is.
  25. Any secondary with +recharge is good with Dual Blades. Energy Aura, Electric Armor, Radiation.
