Just a reminder that the regularly scheduled weekly Rikti mothership raid trials will be held in Pocket D this evening at 8:30 P.M. ET/5:30 P.M. PT. You must be level 35+ and have the Member of Vanguard badge to participate.
Hope to see y'all there!
I had the badge prior to sunset on my Force Field/Dark Blast Defender. I reported a bug that allowed you to infinitely duplicate INF, pretty easily as well. Start with 10,000 INF, double it to 20,000. Then double that to 40,000. Then double that to 80,000, etc. One of my SG mates has Bug Hunter now, although I'm not exactly sure for what.
On Saturday, a friend of mine tried four times to spawn Caleb in Nerva by defeating several hundred Nerva ghosts around Thorn Isle. Nothing. On Sunday, I tried twice, defeating over 200 ghosts around Thorn Isle each time. Nothing. Today, I finally got the "The Demon Caleb has been spotted in Nerva" message, but three of us circled Thorn Isle for over ten minutes and never spotted him. When daylight came up, we tried again, defeating over 300 Nerva ghosts between us. Nothing.
I've heard of others spawning Caleb since the Halloween event ended, but it appears to be spotty at best.
I would only support this for anniversary and holiday event badges because they can be one off events. The rest, IMO, should be earned from character to character.
No, they don't. SCoRE removed simultaneous clicks in Issue 25, but a lot of people don't know that still. The text hasn't been changed so it'll still say that a mission requires simultaneous clicks, but they don't.
Depending on how you slot, and in endgame what Incarnate abilities you take, you can easily get Howling Twilight down to a minute or less. It's very meaningful.
Many of the first GM soloers were Illusion Controllers. Kinetics, no. Dark Affinity though has a lot of -regen in Twilight Grasp and Howling Twilight. Combined they will give you -550% Regen, more than Radiation.
IMO, Cold Domination should have been nerfed hard shortly after it first came out, because it is objectively better than both Force Field and Sonic Resonance combined. But that boat sailed a long time ago.
Sonic used to do the most -res of any set, until Cold Domination. Cold Domination does more now. Sonic Resonance Corruptors, Controllers, and Masterminds can do -45% resistance. Cold can do -60% resistance across the board. That's on top of all of the other tricks Cold has up its sleeve.
Some people like the safety of numbers. I've had people quit an Apex/Tin Mage because we only had six people. I could only find five others, so I asked my team if we should go with six. We could have easily done it IMO, as everyone was at least +1. A Tanker said, "No, it's too hard," then immediately quit. The rest quickly followed. I've had multiple people grumble over the past few months about doing a Rikti mothership raid with less than five full teams, yet I've done a MSR with only six people and two friends of mine have duoed it.
I know perfectly well that herding is possible outside of Brutes or Tankers, but those are the only two ATs that I see still bother to herd on occasion these days as some see it as "their role." Everyone else just speeds through or steamrolls because they're not about to wait around for someone to herd.
Yeah. Sentinel seems to be the real issue here. I have a level 50+3 tricked out DP/Temporal Manipulation Blaster and the damage feels good to me. It's not Fire of course, but nothing else is.
That's assuming, of course, that a team has a Brute or Tanker in it. I've been in a lot of teams lately with no melee at all, or one or two Stalkers or Scrappers and no other melee. Then, if you are on a team with a Brute or Tanker, you're assuming that most of the people want to take the time for the Brute or Tanker to herd mobs. The vast majority of the teams I've been on in the past six months do not.
Yep, that's what I do. When I get a new character to level 50, I convert 150 Empyrean merits to 3 Transcendent Merits and mail them to the newly level 50 character. Then I get a Tier 4 Alpha and Interface as soon as they're unlocked.
