  1. True plus the ones you can get as temp powers from mayhem or other missions. I tried once to do that. I had to seek therapy.
  2. I was just trying to be funny. Darn.
  3. I actually move the actual power (or in some cases powers) to a separate tray and have the macro image in the slot I was going to use that way I can see the cooldowns in a central location. This is the case with my Grav/Time where several location AoE's have been tweaked.
  4. I want Grenades. An entire Secondary of Grenades. I don't care if its just Trick Arrow ported over I just want to throw small cans of whoop-a$$ at bad guys. So totally unfair.
  5. Subject line misled me in a different direction. There is always a time and place for a little Britney
  6. Clipping occurring on Pink Skirt option for Praetor Duncan. Ruins immersion and my personal fantasy Role Play. Devs please fix ASAP 🙂
  7. Totally, I have 3 DP Blasters (MC, Atomic and Ninja), a DP/Elec Sent, a Time/DP Defender. They are fun even if they aren't the top dogs for damage and fun is more important to me than 2% more DPS. But there is so much thematic variety to work from there because essentially anyone can learn to shoot a handgun correctly and effectively so if you are a gal or guy who has some super powers but aren't suited for full super power action, grab some guns, learn to shoot them then go. hunt. kill skuls.
  8. Almost all Vigilante but its only for ease of movement through the zones. Alignment only matters to me on specific characters in which I have already defined their theme or story. The Munitions Mistress was a hero who steadily went nutso due to the trauma of the First Rikti War, slipping from Hero to Vigilante then Rogue and finally Villain but the events of the Second Rikti War have caused her to seek redemption and return once more to being the good girl (for the most part). On the other hand, Krystala was once a member of the Circle of Thorns but rebelled and went renegade so she moved form Villain to Vigilante. I think I have maybe one or two pure Hero characters and they are for theme (Blue Aria and Trinity Six) and only one pure Villain which is my Demon Summoning Archduchess of Hell Glasya and that is totally theme (so hot).
  9. Loose Lips don't sink ships, giant Praetorian WarWorks robots sink ships. -- Admiral Sutter
  10. It is probably gibberish due to the fact that the insertion of a numeric string only once (97) means its not a substitution system as there would be more numbers.
  11. There is enough farmland in AE 🙂
  12. Pick more flowers you Gold Mooks!
  13. Swaying to the Symphony . . . of Destruction!
  14. Quotes /macro EM "popmenu DemonSayAll" And double check directory just to make sure.
  15. Thank you for the examples, advice and such in this thread. I had a Widow back on live back in the day that I ran to 50, had no fun running up and then retired immediately. This time on HC in large part because of the information here coupled with my own minor tweaks I had a real fun time running Operative Violet up and want to keep playing her. Bravo Zulu
  16. I thought Ouroboros was tied to the dimension so Praetorians being from a different dimensions shouldn't be able to access it but rather their dimensions version (if there is one). The Battalion of our Coming Storm which our Ouroboros is preparing for is not the same Battalion that attacked and were defeated by the Rikti in their dimension and conversely isn't the Battalion in Praetoria Dimension. That said it isn't fair that to participate they have to change to H or V, I am sure some other magical McGuffin could be concieved to explain this sin there is the TUNNEL system.
  17. Plus such gorgeous outdoor imagery and constantly being sent to the sewers.
  18. It took me a little to think out what I would like and reading other peoples input is fabulous. This was about adding a zone not doing something with the zones they have (Kallisti Wharf with more than Market Crash) or ressurecting an old zone (Galaxy City as a hard hazard zone). Airport-Spaceport - You zoom in close enough on the game map that came with the box and you will see a Skyway International Airport. I could see that as a hub zone that had spawn points to "other venues", like gate 3 sends you to Paris or London and you get an instanced zone with a flavored mission. Just add some "beyond the glass" images of the iconic objects (Eiffel Tower, Big Ben) while staying in the city zone. Collect the stamps on your passport (badges) and add whatever enemy you want (new or used). And it can be the launching pad (see what I did there) for a moon base mission or just another general lab skin but called an orbiting space station or whatever. Suburbia - Yeah that one is interesting to me because someone said Nemesis plot and someone said Stepford wives and that works. Maybe the mechanic of shifting alignment could be put into play, you know they are allies then turn. You don't know who is normal or not so at any moment they could turn. That's just the street. Then you could totally go with secret cabal of menace or nemesis plot or magic or whatever. I mentioned the Synthoids from GI Joe, just watch "There's No Place Like Springfield" and not say damn, that's freaking devious, and feel bad for Shipwreck. Refugee Zone - This is one that I have pondered since the release of the Second Rikti War material. The canon says the Traditionalists made peace with us and there is even allusions to establishing diplomatic ties and of course AMA Lore saying that they might have been allies in the fight against the Battalion. But working with what is there, a small pocket where the good Rikti are and are trying to help us (cure the lost, deal with the imported Hydra, stop the Restructurists that are still causing problems). Or if you are RIkti weary we could do it with Praetorians. A whole small zone (not too big) of Praetorians who have no home but still want things to be like home and you have to deal with those entities that are trying to reshape our world to their image vice adapting to it. There are several angles for moral story telling there.
  19. I am onboard with a suburbs of subtle menace. Like the Springfield in the GI Joe world with the Synthoids is actually a freaky episode and sad (at least for Shipwreck).
  20. Betty Betty Nugs - He says he likes your cones.
  21. Here she is and keep in mind there is a Proc in Throw Sand that still works but you can no longer slot in there after Page 4 so I lose it when I respec. And remember there is more than one way to gun, there are others who I am sure have tighter builds. Like I dont have the Performance Shifter Proc in Stamina Data Chunk | Copy & Paste this data into Mids Reborn : Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1723;725;1450;HEX;| |78DA75946B6FD26014C74F69191BC280B131186303C62EBA0D373F81D1A9D10C834| |3E7CBA53A6455020D2D897E15EF1AAF9FC3B7FA51BC256A8CBBD443CF7392B31A1B| |687F3DE739FF73E9D3D6EE6FC43E7DDC3C0B5AFC7CDB749C9D7378769BBDC855D3E| |DF7CC36E011DDB08AF8BBD4EF3811BCCDAB253B5B66A7D5DCAD6EF4CDF64EDD72DC| |6EDBA9B0AFD1B7ED6ECFADD6CC9E6BA1BF66762CBBDF365DABDB8178BDDB6D572F5| |AAD3DD7EAB4A2FE5DC36E3677633E6E364D1BED09BED96DF69C3DCBCE5CB0ADDBD5| |5ABF630D441C941C647A90C59216F09F4BE249033EBC30C013BCAE1B1082A70443F| |08C60189E1354E005C34B8264E5B88C0E50C76BD98055D8626810ACC3358229CCAD| |C9DC1AFCD155EE7D02030E7495FB5057298F0856FC2C087994D1A58C0E5B1C7D435| |72D5C2788C236C114340816E126C134CA84858C57404344EA46400F2B1583200661| |86218269182698830841089FFE889081114CEE7BC670682764C67134C441648CC37| |E48C91E11CC60AF0A0ED87218529D7804132893903209964972509283C6586F9C33| |64596616FB4FC9FE53BC35C6796B64786B64796BCCF1D638C55B2383D5A4858C968| |622472B28E38826E4920958264F8961068B9994539CE429663038278373BE96FF8C| |0FD1503060124BC8CBE03CD468898EC105E1310A7E96C2A0911F349893F053571DF| |D66F84550C2A266E5A06779D0451E7491075DE4F99678BE251E7D16CB2BCBF2CAB8| |173C0F72689F970F601EEE50CF0BD062D863B040ED82BBA0EABE47F001B32CC9012| |DC119342D0E96ACD092148E6159BEBECB10D5D45B36CA1027588504411A83AAB2BC| |2ABCA7CE4EC31B86770C6F09D6E115C36B82EF318035D9FD9A3FD3C1808CE31F156| |FDA007978BE1107B5195888FF5592A81BD2811E8D223E47FF17F1E55FCF1279BE06| |3C58FE15CD9FE3286C6BEA6DAAD0DA6F81B5886AAF8F325C4EE34594E6DD8A060C6| |6D0500F1A1EA6F09B250D8F8286C741C35FCBB5DCE7| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|
  22. SwordBow! Available for 5000 Aether particles.
  23. Totally had this happen on a Flashback myself.
  24. Before Set IOs I found Energy Blasters to be the best pound for pound fun and fight-wise when there is rhythm (I know the number crunchers can prove otherwise because FIRE but fun isn't a number), but everyone hates knockback and that is part of the core mechanic of Energy. You gotta keep the knockback baby. Someone in these forums occasionally has a quote along the lines of the best form of mitigation is a dead enemy and that is always how a Blaster should think in my opinion. Resistance . . . Defense . . . a Blaster craves not these things. If you move like a pre-IO Blaster needed to do in order to survive, you also learn how to position your cones and steer the enemy with your KB; Energy Torrent herds enemies quite well . I am telling you man, Energy as a primary with the KB not tampered with is awesome fun at range and not super problematic on a team of you are able to maneuver. Or hover up and blast down making it KD anyway. Remember KB takes time off the enemy attack clock, and not just their having to get up. You fling them and the clock is ticking and you can attack. then they land and go through their reset and stand up cycle and you can attack. With KD its fall down and they are in their get up cycle so less time for you to shoot them when they aren't shooting. Also, slamming foes into the geometry, wall sticking and object collision work for you (most of the time); knock a foe into a piece of gear (impaled on an object just like in Commando) and he might go through a constant reset cycle (why cant I pull myself off this pipe in my chest). Of course there are exceptions where you become a PITA member and maybe even a liability (though nowhere near as much as a standard MM with control deficiency). Hess final battle for one. Sewer Trial (though sweeping the catwalks for easy gun access . . . hmmm). And of course the rare time where you blow a dude through the geometry, which from a story standpoint is freaking awesome; I knocked his a$$ into another dimension . . . just like dad always threatened to do to me when I talked back to him . . . but I digress. Now secondary, well that's where it gets tricky because some are Blapperiffic and some are not and you said range was calling you. My original High Beam on Freedom was Energy/Cold, and this was before all of the Homecoming modifications. It worked good for her range but when I rebuilt her on HC I went with Mental Manipulation, which I am having to retool slightly because World of Confusion sucks. But the bottom line for me, from a play standpoint not a power player standpoint, whole lot of fun regardless of the Secondary.
