If I'm running a team and an AR blaster keeps spamming beanbag to "try and help" with survivability, I would probably kick them. Just do your job and do damage please. -
oh nooo letting energy blast have a toggle or no KB is powercreep omg!!! lol it's not like energy blast has the dps capabilities like fire/ice when not slotted with KB-KD procs at all. plus it's smashing & energy damage, heavily resisted anyways. What is freeing up one slot going to do? another 50/60 damage from a single damage proc? annoying to see people gatekeeping playstyles in an archaic game running on life support.

I think it's much more transparent to cut out the middleman and remove Closed Beta completely. Have the community be able to pop into upcoming patches and voice their opinions before things become mostly concrete in Open Beta. One, it's simply being transparent for a server that constantly reinforces the sense of community and two, it prevents an echo-chamber and the resulting backlash in Open Beta. Remember the Double XP farm nerf, Base TP Macro, Defense Type Changes, Fire Melee changes? Let the community decide via their involvement and not a smaller group of Closed Beta testers that were vetted by some arbitrary set of criteria in a Discord with Patch Notes on another forum.

Not surprised that a subreddit would be dogged on by people here even though it will bring more traffic to the servers. Just look at the Homecoming and Mids compatibility thread. Apparently, external collaboration is frowned upon. Anything that is not Homecoming™ Dev sanctioned or a platform (Discord) that fully censors negative feedback will be condemned here.

A toggle dealing around 30 damage when slotted and in a mob of 10 or more which results in a whopping total 300 damage per tick? Along with Cauterizing Aura? Nah, I'd like my inf babies to stay where they are at thanks. -

My Fire/Fire Blaster can do S/L farming relatively fast with some insps. Only thing is that mobs run from him without a taunt aura and Hot Feet's IMHO unnecessary Afraid status condition. -

I think powersets with Pets in them outside of the Mastermind AT, should get the Pet Commands that Masterminds get, barring bodyguard mode. To me, it will be a huge QOL upgrade having exact control over your pets. Right now, Controllers/Dominators' Pets aggro enemies only when they are in melee range. It's very annoying to dive into melee range for pets to attack enemies or to resummon them right for every new enemy spawn. And a baseline run/flight speed increase across all pets would help a lot! -

Hey fellow spider lovers, just wanted to find out if there were any tricks to get around runners? Since melee widows or melee forts don't have a taunt aura, this is especially annoying when soloing AVs.

Ironically this set would work if the set had on option to replace the pets with arachnos equivalents. Police —> wolf spiders psi cop —> fortunata/widows Assault suit —> crab spider or arachnobot in red side, arachnos is the law 🕷️🕷️ -

I'm tired of spamming converters and left clicking and dragging my ATOs over a million times because of bad RNG when converting from one AT to another. Is it possible to introduce a new option (with steeper converter cost) to directly convert the ATO to the AT of the character I'm on?

Rudra, is it possible that you've emotionally attached the Mastermind AT to your entire identity? You can't really deny the points that Plainguy brings up. Masterminds are clearly lacking as compared to other ATs and further compounded by the skill-ceiling micromanaging handicapped pets require. Pet AI (on their DPS rotation, pathing and damage patches) as well as the level tax on T1/T2 are out of the mastermind player's control. Adding on to the mandatory power choices (3 pet summon powers, 2 upgrades) and essential picks (Leadership, and now the attack powers), it makes the mastermind AT feel taxed. Yeah sure, but when the baseline is -1/2 levels below the +0 mob you're fighting, it's still a handicap

Only in PVP I imagine. In PVE, Pets are still burdened with the -levelshift tax and also whatever damage patches mobs have. -

Yes I believe it was mainly the collar that widows and soldiers have that might be out of place. In CoH Icon with NPC pieces turned on, the widow chestpiece and belt didn't seem to have any issues. Hopefully the soldier's pieces would follow suit. -

Pets standing in damage patches can be avoided with awareness but with the state of the AI right now, pets running away on superspeed is counter-intuitive and takes control out of the mastermind's hands. It's a skillissue. At least back then I can manually command the pets to move out of damage patches but now its like once the patches drop, the pets flee and move out of bodyguard range and supremacy/buff range. It's frustrating. -

Just unlock both Widow and SOA costume pieces for everyone (Minus the ones with unique placements e.g. collar). Problem solved. I mean we can use the Crab Spider backpack and Arachnos symbol and cape anyways, what difference would there be if people start using the Widow/Soldier costumes. -

Make mastermind pets immune to -afraid status effects like caltrops, bonfire etc. Going against Chimera Ninjas or similar groups is not fun when your mobs suddenly turn on superspeed and run when caltrops are used. -
Make Dominators worth playing before Perma Dom.

Maybe Dominators could get a bump to their ranged damage scalar from 0.95 to 1.10 like what Sentinels got. Should be fine since Doms don't have nukes. -
What AT & powerset combos evoke certain superheros for you?

Mind/Energy Dominator for Telepathy/Telekinetic concepts e.g. Jean Grey and Grav/Eng for Magneto. Dark/Energy Dominators for mystical/eldritch characters e.g. Doctor Fate (Although he might be better emulated by using Gravity), Felix Faust, Scarlet Witch or Dormammu. Basically Dominators make you feel like an all-rounded energy projector superhero/villain who can use their powers in a variety of ways instead of braindead pew pew blasters. Super Strength / Invuln (Brute or Tank) for majority of DC's cast. Everyone seems to have like 100 tonnes superstrength there. A mutant-origin Necromancy paired with Dark or Time could be a good emulator for Selene from Marvel's Hellfire Club (feeding on people's psychic energy and enslaving them) Of course the Trick Arrow Paired with Archery is just Green Arrow/Hawkeye etc etc bow lovers. A Sonic/Martial Blaster is 100% Black Canary inspired
