Looks like the effect doesn't scale properly with the toon's body size.

Noob question about damage procs and level
InvaderStych replied to Todd Z's topic in General Discussion
This. If am slotting anything before 50 its attuned. I have 1 toon where I've gone all out and swapped into boosting (+5) everything that made sense to, and then most things that really didn't, but it was fun to do anyway. Not procs/globals/etc obviously, unless they also boost a stat I wanted to boost. Looking at you LoTG+rech's. The gains are completely, utterly, marginal after a certain point, but that toon is no fun to play exemp'd down, so I figured why not. If I can figure out the alt build for another toon that is endgame/team focused, I'll boost the living #%^@ of that one too. 😄 -
Not sure how I missed this all these years, but I am going to have to track it down and give it a watch ... Woody Harrelson, Kat Dennings, Elias Koteas, Sandra Oh, and even Michael Kelly!

What would be a good pairing for a Naruto based character?
InvaderStych replied to smnolimits41's topic in Scrapper
Kin/Nin should be a lot of fun. /Nin gets a +endurance click in Kyoyo at 16, and a self heal in Kuji-In at 20, so that's covered. KM isn't a top tier damage set, but that hardly matters in the modern game. I'd say go for it. -
Hmm.. I might have spoken too soon about Corrosive. Mids doesn't show a damage value or accuracy value for it. A 3.5ppm Bombardment shows 64.58 fire damage in mids - which is a solid rate of fire, but a quick glance at CoD shows that it calls what is probably a pseudo-pet, so the mids numbers might not reflect that with the Bomb%fire I was using for reference. The good news is that if it is accurate, it appears that it has some space for a little recharge slotting before the rate drops. The other good news is that if one wanted to get really crazy one could drop 2 -Res pieces in it as well. There are 3 entries, the power itself, a redirect without much info, and one that is tagged Pets.Experimentation.Corrosive Vial.Corrosive_vial_splat, which is probably the meaty bit: https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=pets.experimentation_corrosive_vial.corrosive_vial_splat I really should give the origin pools a more earnest try. 🤣

Hmm.. now that's a thinker! Corrosive Vial has a slightly better proc rate than Ball Lighting/Fireball (both broadly the same for procs), but all three (as well as Claws:Shockwave, unless Mids is incorrect) can slot tAoE sets, which opens up SFB: % Immobilize. I thought there was a way to get % Immob from someplace else, but off the top of my head I don't recall. Spines/Stone slotted with IMT sets could wind up near as makes no difference to an immob with all the -spd/-rech that it could pack. I didn't care for the way Spines gets short-changed with respect to Brimstone, but other than that a pretty solid combo.

Theft of Essence Proc in a damage aura...?

Critical Success! -
Genius. I have an Elec/EA sentinel with the Manipulator proc in every attack (and Drain for good measure) ... but this, well, it's just better isn't it! 😄 Interesting to see Razzle in OG instead of AA % -ToHit. Does the immob limit the drunken stumbling of the stunned masses?

Nah, let's keep that one a surprise. 😉 If we're talking about bringing AoS characters into the Cinematic Multiverse then Luna's rendition of that character is another I would fully endorse including. Truth. s1 takes some time to get going, but around that point (forget the exact episode as well) it starts to find a stride. There are points in subsequent seasons that fall off a little bit for me, but overall the show is widely underappreciated and rewards the faithful with some absolutely phenomenal performances from the core cast and numerous guest stars. Adding to the list of appearances .... ... Dichen Lachman ... Powers Boothe ... Blair Underwood ... Bill Paxton (at his adorable, over-the-top best) ... Kyle MacLachlan ... Ruth Negga ... Adrianne Palicki ... and in a bonus for fans of The Expanse ... Florence Faivre.

Gotcha. I was conflating two different kinds of objects there. Missed the part where we were talking about things spawned by the power Propel vs. an actual NPC (or in the video a pet) object. Thanks!

Only if it is called the "Please, Please Tell Me Ball." Confused by this - fully believe it to be true - but I am confused as to how this doesn't happen in missions when using knock? Example: I send a mob flying with something like Ki Push, fellow teammates go to the place I see the mob land. Is there something different in bases/AE or wherever these matches were happening?

As a write-up? Probably nothing comprehensive. Might find bits and pieces in threads on specific trials. Best bet would be an Entity Search on City of Data. Of course figuring out which version of Anti-Matter to examine is another story. Is it "Anti-Matter_cutscene," "Anti-Matter_escape" or this one called "Anti-Matter_final" which I am fairly sure is the Keyes Trial version: https://cod.uberguy.net/html/entity.html?entity=antimatter_p_antimatter_final Praetorian AVs particularly are likely to have multiple versions - original versions, re-vamped versions for regular mission arcs (MJ for example) and then the iTrial versions. Tags on the left help to figure this out: "IncarnateBoss" and "Raid." Class Name looks to be another clue.

Interesting set of maps on the topic: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-03-19/maps-show-where-daylight-saving-leaves-cities-dark Turns out that the bill passed the Senate on a "No One Objected so it Passes without a Vote" rule. Also turns out that many Senators had no idea it was on the table and thus weren't even present to object. https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/paulmcleod/daylight-saving-time-senate Hilarious. Yeah, definitely not holding my breath on this becoming a thing next year.

Thanks for the list. I knew DW had a lower base value, but not by how much. It should definitely get a bump. Looking at the list (and not knowing the secondary effect on all of them from memory) it appears that DW should be at least as much as Dragon's or Thorn. Arguably more as Dragon's Tail has that awesome KD that is far more effective than the minor/wonky hold in DW. Probably should be in line with End of Time, or perhaps someplace between that and the next one up the list (Lotus). Echo Chamber also needs a boost. Char from the APP is superior by (almost) every numerical measure. Longer range, higher damage, longer duration hold, higher mag hold. Ridiculous.

Two things about DW: First, (at the risk of repeating myself) it is broken and needs to have the flag "Ignores External Strength Boosts" removed in order to perform closer to other similar powers which are not flagged as such. DW does not accept any +dmg from any source other than enhancements, and Sound Boosters +special does not improve its hold either. This is why it is "underwhelming." When you hit Aim or Build-up, DW's damage is not boosted. It's nice to have an AoE that can be proc-bombed, but it still needs that flag removed regardless. Second, the Hold is in 2 parts: https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=blaster_support.sonic_manipulation.deafening_wave Note that the first is flagged to "Suppress when damaged." It will hold a boss, but only until they take damage - sort of like a Fear. That, of course, has limited value, but there it is. 🤷♂️ The trick is to open with Echo Chamber (Or Char if one is taking Char, because Blaster Char is on 16s recharge while every other version from an Epic/Patron pool is 32s) on either the hard target or the annoying one, then close to melee, drop DW, then Earsplitter something into oblivion and go from there.

One of the better of Agents of Shield's mini-story-arcs in their efforts to find a narrative place that was MCU-Adjacent after the showrunners realized that a show that is influenced by the movies but cannot influence the movies doesn't really work: https://marvelcinematicuniverse.fandom.com/wiki/Agents_of_S.H.I.E.L.D.:_Agents_of_HYDRA Fitz already had the most compelling character arc in the show prior to that short story arc, and continues to do so after its completion. IMNSHO Fitz is the most interesting and well portrayed character in the whole series. I don't know much else about the actor (Iain De Caestecker) or what else he's been in, but his performance in the "alternate" role is just as solid as John Noble's in Fringe, but far more affecting because in Fringe we all knew that Walter was always fairly dark and twisted beneath the dementia and regret. With Fitz it is a complete 180. Was quite fun to see the young actor stretch his skills. Even with the obvious channeling of Noble's Walternate it was still supremely satisfying to watch. Triple Edit: Video doesn't actually contain true Evil Fitz except for one brief moment, just a decent montage of some of his solid moments.
