I appreciate that, and will make use of it. But the fact is that the roster screen is just lackluster. It has zero functionality beyond selecting, creating and deleting, and renaming your characters. So I pick a character I want to play and sign in. Then see that my SG or someone in LFG/TFs is posting something I want to do, so I have to send a tell asking them to hold a spot and give them then name of the char I'm alting to. It's a nuisance. And all the rest of the functionality I requested. It's all little QoL stuff, and I have no idea how much trouble it would be to implement, but features could be added incrementally.
-
Features I'd like to see include A tab for all my chat channels. This way I can check /lfg to see which character I want to log in to, and possibly reserve a spot on a team. Use the currently selected character for the character name The old City Info Tracker web site, but for only my characters. I'd love to be able to search up a badge to see which characters it is missing on. Or which character (if any) is holding a given IO or has inf. Different ways to sort my characters, by level or alphabetically, or by AT (yes, I know you can search on the AT) I'm sure there is a LOT that could be done to help players manage their rosters better.

@Oubliette_Red Nice job!

@Sir Myshkin I think some slicers can expand the scale of the STL. It's been a long time since I've been on Hero Forge, so I don't know if they have that option or not. You'd think they would have the option to make your STL 30mm/15mm/10mm at the least. Or maybe 28mm instead of 30.
-
I've made a few STLs using their creator. It's very powerful.
-
Not sure which one of you did this, but he's made a LOT of signature and villain group figures, 3d printed them up, and done quite a nice job painting them.

So are we talking a port list or a starboard list here?

Ok, got an odd one for you. [211.2 72.3 2855.8] Server: Everlasting Zone/Mission: St. Martial Position: [250.8 72.3 2835.0] General area: Next to the choper to the Free Fire zones, near the Ferry. The mission door to my left is the final mission for Black Scorpion's Patron arc. The issue here is that doing a powexelocation self for Def/'Troller FFG while standing in this general area fails with an "Out of Range" message. If I move past the line of tiles at the bottom of the screen it works. If I hover/fly in this area the macro or command works. You can use powexeclocation 0:5 and it will work just fine. I haven't tested it with anything but FFG, however I assume that any drop powers using the self argument will behave the same way Everything past the line the thumbtack is on is good. Everything this side of that line is bad. Edit: Meanwhile, on the far side of the Free Fire Zone Chopper... [11:56] [338.4 74.8 2955.1] Server: Everlasting Zone/Mission: St. Martial Position: [338.4 74.8 2955.1] Using the same command, my FFG is now inside the map.

Good Troller for team play - Elemental theme team
Col. Kernel replied to CallMeMal's topic in Controller
KRJ12 is correct. Do the following; Put a KB>KD in Tornado Put your LS up in the air about 10" Be mindful of the Repel (not KB) in Hurricane. Slot with 4 Dark Watcher's Despair and use it to lightly brush the foes so they get the accuracy debuff w/o getting shoved around. When foes try to leave drop patches like Freezing Rain use Herdacane to shove them back onto it. Use Gale (if you have it) to put foes back onto debuff patches (see above). Talk to the tank, have him herd the mobs into a corner or up against a wall. LS can be used at ground level to bounce foes back into the Tanker's scrum. In closing, KB isn't your enemy, it's your friend. It's one of the best controls in the game when used properly. There are way too many fun things you can do with Hurricane in particular. -
What happens when you pass 50 and hit "Incarnate" level?
Col. Kernel replied to Black Talon's topic in General Discussion
Here's the short short version: When you hit 50 visit Mender Ramiel in Ouro, he gives you an arc that rewards you with one Incarnate Shard. That's fairly pathetic, to be honest, but you get some iXP and start work unlocking your Alpha slot. Your Alpha slot is the only one that has an real impact on non-Incarnate content, so it's kind of a big deal. Once your Alpha slot is unlocked you will get Captain Noling (Blue) or some unknown letter (Red). These contacts will give you a brief arc to introduce you to Dark Astoria (shared zone, has Incarnate content). I recommend getting your Alpha slot to T3 because it will give you +1 level vs non-Incarnate content, plus boost your non-Incarnate powers. Threads are much easier to get than Shards, so I recommend building your Alpha to T3 with Threads. Save up your Shards for the T4 if you plan to build other Incarnate powers because Shards can only be used for your Alpha slot. -
Roll an Illusion Controller and get back to me on how much control you actually have. And I'm sure you don't want to hear about how well my Time/ or Storm Defenders tank everything.

In theory all you should need is Lutris. No need to pollute a perfectly good system with a Microsoft product.

Do These Powers Work With Powexeclocation Slash Command?
Col. Kernel replied to Tailcoat's topic in General Discussion
I have a Native American character who shapeshifts (costume change) to a bird form to use Fly and to a wolf form to use Beast Run, along with the appropriate cc emote and a spoken phrase. I have another macro that he uses to change back to human form when he turns the power off. This could probably be done with keybinds as well, but I just use macros because I have a ton of other keybinds. The flexibility of the keybind/macro, and now popmenu system in CoH rivals the flexibility of the costume editor. All of these things, along with the power pics and the IO system let me play the game MY way, which is one of the things that has kept me coming back for 17+ years. -
Not being tied to the T1/T2 would help, but also increase the duration or make it perma until used. My usual experience goes like this; Fight the spawn down to 1 minion who has half health. Now I can shoot the minion (with or without Offensive Opportunity, I didn't take the T2 attack) and the minion dies. By the time I get to the next spawn and pick a boss/Lt to use my Off. Op. on it's gone. So I charge in and fight the spawn. Two or three attacks later the Op is back, so now I get to find the target I wanted to use it on again, if it's still alive. So I simply ignore the Inherent. If it comes up at a time when I have a boss/Lt targeted sure, I'll use it. That happens less than once per mish. So I mostly play as if my Sent doesn't have an Inherent.

I'm glad to see that some folks in this game understand basic economics. -

When do they sleep? I make 20 mil/run Inf + drops farming. Say it takes 45 minutes to run the ComicCon cave firefarm, so average 100 mil Inf per 3 hours (counting drops), you'd have to farm 6 - 9 hrs a day to do that. -

90% if the issues with the market would go away if it were impossible to flip items. And to the flippers in here, there are easier and more productive ways to make Inf off the market than flipping. -

Isn't there an option in the costume editor to eliminate redraw? -

Col. Kernel replied to macskull's topic in General Discussion
Certainly not that. He's taking recipes and salvage, adding some inf and getting a product worth more than the combined value of his components. This is how wealth is generated in real economies. Real economies are not a zero sum game. Flipping is buying an item low and reslisting it for a higher price. There's no value added and it fuels inflation. -

I havae a fire farmer. I find farming boring. Farming makes roughly 20 million inf/hr plus drops I can make about 30 million inf/hr (give or take) just running the WST, and I'll be having a lot more fun doing it. So IMO farming is balanced. -
And I've encountered clipping on HC as well. Had to spend quite a while finding a work around for the last costume I was making. I guess it's just a question of how much clipping is too much. And that's going to be an individual preference. I too would love to see Guardians over here but I doubt that's going to happen any time soon.
