  1. The patch has nothing (directly) to do with it. The players have decided that Peregrine Island is THE place to Trick or Treat. Last night, the first ToT league filled and a second was started. Not seeing lag anywhere else.
  2. I think it's just RNG. I have an army of alts and they will often sit around for 2, 3 or more weeks before getting played and I have not observed this at all. Having said that, I actually don't care at this point. My one badger earned enough to get all the badges and has about 25 extra at this point so I'll just keep buying costumes.
  3. I think the power is kind of pointless so I never take it, but I'm fine with people using it on me.
  4. Not really the right question. The right question is, "Can I get in any trouble by playing this game?" The answer is no. The game is run by volunteers who do this kind of stuff for a living. They adhere to professional standards and use professional security products.
  5. Mostly the first - probably about 90% of the time. On rare occasions I work backwards like when I made a character to help on Really Hard Way badge runs. Wanted high DPS, buffing team DPS and had to be a corr to counter Tyrant's regen so I made a beam rifle/kinetics corr. Now I wanted to make one for advanced difficulty task forces so I asked people who run them what they would want - ice blast / cold domination corr.
  6. When you rescue Dragons Tail, he has two lines. The first one has an error, per the image below.
  7. It depends on whether the devs are on the ball or not. As it stands, they have different power names, so they probably would not. However, since they are functionally identical, they absolutely should. Either way, we're talking about something would take literally 2-3 minutes to determine by testing.
  8. To be fair, there is a character in game that sounds very much like this and is also an AI created by Crey - Mark IV.
  9. I would say that leading the team (literally leading from the front and taking the alpha) is a specific benefit to the team and that has value itself. If you really want to do that AND provide other benefits to the team, aside from the powers you mentioned, I would also suggest the Leadership pool. It's not great on scrappers or brutes but tanks get the same modifiers as controllers. Aside from physically leading, I think corrupters bring a lot of benefit. They can buff or debuff and, in long fights when scourge can come into play, they punch above their weight class. They are so useful that I made a beam rifle/kinetics corrupter JUST for Really Hard Way badge runs of the Magisterium iTrial.
  10. I would say it's just the RNG for two reasons. 1. I have gotten exactly TWO from doing missions since they were introduced. And I play a lot of content, particularly task forces. 2. Since there was so much complaint about a new currency in general and also about how much it was initially selling for, I think any adjustment by the devs would be trumpeted from the heavens.
  11. I don't have that kind of inf now, but back on live I kept it distributed across characters and in the form of purple/unique IO's in my base. I had a personal base just for storage - I bought the prestige to build it. And I had a spreadsheet to track the money - not to track where it was, but to track which characters had room to hold more. Sixty characters and a personal base with maxed out enhancement storage could hold a lot since each character could hold 2 billion and some enhancements sold for 2 billion on the AH and even more off-market. I didn't trust the auction house or email system enough to store significant sums long-term.
  12. Just need to give the sharks some lasers on their heads and they can look out for themselves.

No, because they can't. The defeats were not being tracked until the badge was implemented. An exception to this would be if there was some other way to confirm the defeat. For example, the badge for defeating Frostfire awarded retroactively because you must defeat him to complete that arc AND the arc awards a souvenir. I'm GUESSING they didn't try to retroactively award SOME of the progress by checking other badges (i.e. from DFB, Postitron TF 1 and 2). Frostfire was one check for one badge. This would have been three separate checks to award partial progress - which might not even be possible.
  14. Toggle Man laughs at your feeble endurance management. Toggle Man runs 16 toggles in combat. Please note that the tanker numbers were changed a few months back to match the controller numbers. Several of us checked personally and updated the Wiki accordingly.
  15. You're late to the party. 😛 I already pointed out that you can do a keybind that tries to fire every Destiny power you have and only the one actually slotted will fire. You don't have to remember which is active.
  16. I made this exact observation to my girlfriend yesterday. I was on a team of 8 for a respec trial and I always check the globals to see if anyone I know is on the team. I did not recognize ANY of the 7 global names and commented on that fact.
  17. I thought about that for flight powers, but I have a few characters that have more than one since different color flight packs look better with different costumes. However, I do use it for the buff pets (since you can only have one), the Nemesis Staff/Blackwand (since you can only get the AT bonus on one, I only take one). As an aside, a good set of keybinds make the game a lot easier. When I create a new character, I type the command to manually load a bindfile ONCE. The file has a keybind to reload the file, for when it gets updated. I also have a bind to load my chat window settings. If I change my chat settings, I have a bind to SAVE the new settings. I have a bind that tries to enter an SG base for each shard where I have characters - only the correct one works. To keep all the binds straight, I have a keyboard template that sits over my F-keys with three rows (F, alt-F, ctrl-F) of commands.
  18. There was *A* reason. Whether it was good or bad is 100% subjective.
  19. No, I just tested it with Destiny powers and I have always used that method with the Blackwand and Nemesis Staff. Edit: Specifically, the bind is: bind alt+f "powexecname Nemesis Staff$$powexecname Blackwand" It tries to fire both but my characters all have just one and it works fine.
  20. That works. I just tested it to be sure. I used the following set of commands and it triggered the one that was actually slotted (which was the one in the middle). powexecname "barrier radial epiphany"$$powexecname "barrier core epiphany"$$powexecname "indandescence radial epiphany" I've always used a similar keybind for the Blackwand and Nemesis Staff. I have a keybind that tries to execute BOTH, but my characters all have the one that gives them the AT bonus, so it fires off the power they actually have.
  21. 1. Some had already updated the Leadership table for the new tank values before I got there. Outstanding. 2. I updated the historical section to indicate which issue changed the tanker values. 3. None of my tanks have Vengeance or I would check that.
  22. The chart is wrong. Tanker Leadership toggles got buffed. I seemed to recall that had happened and logged into a tank to check. Assault: +15% Tactics: +10% Maneuvers: +2.63%
  23. Damn right. My main has plenty of accuracy in his attacks, global acc from sets, the Kismet unique, Tactics and Focused Accuracy. He can hit just about anything in the game. When a Protector activates Moment of Glory, I hit Build Up and destroy them. All of my defenders, corrs and trollers have AT LEAST Assault and Tactics. If they have a set with defense-based powers, then they also take Maneuvers (or if they need to mule one more Luck of the Gambler).
