  1. Yes, yes, yes. In an inherent like Health, it's proccing constantly. In your situation, it will proc each time and renew the duration.
  2. How about if we change one letter and make it a PLAGUE in the Hive? We could call it Dragon Pox, in honor of Veracor.
  3. Saw this in the patch notes for today: The Council Supersoldier and Little League have had their power toolkit updated to work FOR them instead of against them. Little League also has unlocked his Line Drive, a ranged baseball throw for pesky flying supers. What arc or mission is Little League in? I don't recall seeing them.
  4. Yes . . . I could log on and hide my global name and vex him by getting on his team and doing everything wrong . . .
  5. Then learn. The incarnate system is simpler than dealing with IO enhancements. It's far from being the hardest part of the game to figure out.
  6. Not a glitch. They changed what sets the power will accept. Sorry, but you're wrong El Snarkmeister. I have the Analyze Weakness set slotted in Beta Decay RIGHT NOW. And I have a note in red text on my spreadsheet that they changed what the power accepts so I can't respec if I want to keep that set slotted.
  7. Very relative. Even I have multiple billions. Back on live I had tens of billions (about 60). There are players with hundreds of billions.
  8. Police departments don't have majors or colonels. Police ranks are as follows: Officer Detective (often several ranks of detective) Corporal (many departments skip this one) Sergeant (multiple ranks of sergeant) Lieutenant Captain Commander (not all departments have this rank) Chief (multiple sub ranks like Assistant Chief and Deputy Chief, depending on size of the department) Commissioner (generally only exists is large metro areas)
  9. Unusual builds? Oooo, I love when someone starts a thread like this because then I can post about Toggle Man. This is from the old forums and I actually made this character on Homecoming. He is now level 50 and fully tier 4 incarnate. Despite what the piece says, Toggle Man doesn't actually run out of END. With set bonuses and every possible +END or +recovery proc, the build is perfectly viable. Toggle Man I would like to tell you about a friend of mine. His name is Toggle Man, and he has come to town to show you how things are done. Toggle Man is a Spines/Dark Armor Scrapper. But not a wuss about it, like all those other Spines/Dark Armor Scrappers. He took Lunge, because he had to. And he took Quills, because it's a Toggle, and he's Toggle Man. But as far as he's concerned, you can take the rest of those powers to the DUMP where they BELONG. Oh, that's right. Toggle Man went there. He went there, came back, and brought you a T-Shirt. It says "I'm with Toggle Man, so you'd better Toggle On some RESPECT!" Toggle Man took seven of the nine powers in Dark Armor. Can you guess which ones? Toggle Man does not need to rez. Toggle man thinks self-heals are for little girls and communists. Toggle Man does not hurt. Toggle Man does not die. Toggle Man runs Toggles. Eight of them, so far. Nine. Sprint. Toggle Man is not such a connoisseur of toggles that he'd forget the granddaddy of 'em all. Toggle Man runs Sprint all the time. Because Toggle Man knows what's up. Toggle Man wishes he could run all four Veteran sprints too, at the same time. But we try not to remind him of it... Toggle Man dies a little inside every time he thinks about a Toggle he can't run... Don't cry for Toggle Man. He needs you to be strong. He needs you to Toggle On your Brave Face for him, ok? Ok. Toggle Man likes the Leadership Pool. But not Vengeance. Even though Toggle Man's weak and puny allies are constantly kissing the floorboards around him, Toggle Man will not lower himself to use a Click power on their greasy carcasses. Because he's Toggle Man, and his job is to run Toggles, in case you hadn't heard. Toggle Man likes the Leaping Pool. He likes it so much, he compromised and took Jump Kick! Mostly because Combat Jumping and Super Jumping wouldn't work together, and Toggle Man is unhappy when he has to choose between two toggles. Toggle Man took Acrobatics, because NOBODY pushes Toggle Man around. Are you looking at Toggle Man funny? I didn't think so. Punk. You'd best run home to your Mommy and Toggle On a pair of dry underpants. Oh, Snap! Toggle Man also likes the Speed pool. But not Hasten. Toggle Man's Toggles are always on, and that ain't changing. So who cares when they recover? Not Toggle Man, that's for sure! Toggle Man loves Super Speed and Whirlwind, and he runs them all the time. Sometimes Toggle Man's friends get frustrated, and say, "Toggle Man, could you stop super speeding around, knocking all the guys all over the place?" and Toggle Man, he says "Sure, as soon as you stop BREATHING!" Toggle Man is not gonna keep quiet while suckas be dissin' on his Toggles. Toggle Man likes Tough and Weave! Enough to take Boxing, even! Oh my gosh, Toggle Man has an "Attack Chain" now! But he doesn't use it, because he's not a wuss. He's Toggle Man, and his Toggles are good enough, thank you very much. Toggle Man likes Focused Accuracy. Take that, Stalkers! Toggle Man is watching! Toggle Man isn't going to take any crap from you! Toggle Man also took Conserve Power, which isn't a Toggle, but he sets it on auto and pretends that it is. Awwww yeeeaah. Toggle Man is all about conservation. Toggle Man wishes he could Toggle the Ozone Layer back on, but he can't. Because of the restraining order. Toggle Man loves Toggles so much, he didn't even take a power at 49, because he couldn't find any more Toggles. He is thinking about Confront, though, because he's sick of all these pansies seeing him coming and saying "Oh, crap! It's Toggle Man! We'd best run!" Well not any more, punk! Toggle Man is comin' to get'cha! Toggle Man goes through endurance 8 times faster than he recovers it. Toggle Man can only actually finish turning all his Toggles on before his blue bar empties out, if he turns on Rest first, and that makes Toggle Man uncomfortable even if Rest is a Toggle too. Toggle Man wants to know if he can mooch a couple blues? No? That's cool. Toggle Man doesn't trust inspirations anyway. Since they're not, you know, Toggles. What's up with that? Why all the inspirations got to be Clicks, yo? That is whack. Toggle Man. Coming soon to a Test Server near you.
  10. When I start a new character, I immediately buy a bunch of powers from the P2W vendor costing around 14 million. I have never sold a single enhancement booster. Find another way to make money until that market rebounds.
  11. To be fair, I think we see a lot more CLAIMS of 'white knighting' than the actual thing. When some people are having difficulty defending their position in an argument, they often resort to attacking the other person and calling them a white knight is one type of attack.
  12. I collect temp powers on my badger. I have not done this lately, so he only has 111 (I just counted). Everyone MUST have a Shivan Shard and Vanguard HVAS for when the team runs into an AV they can't handle. A few also have the Envenomed Daggers - super useful. Just about all of my characters have one or more jetpacks in their tray. Most don't have fly and other travel powers don't cut it for Hamidon raids. A few characters have multiple jetpacks to coordinate with different costumes.
  13. Oh, that didn't occur to me. So if I had checked using Ironblade, they should all be there.
  14. Are you sure you did chapters 1 AND 2 in Ouroboros? I just looked and can only find chapter 1. I don't see chapters 2 or 3 in Ouro. I checked on a Vigilante and a Hero.
  15. Worth mentioning for any who aren't aware - the Signature Story Arcs work like a task force and exemp you down to the max level of the arc (level 20 for part 1 of Who Will Die) so you can run these no matter what level you are. And the LFG window will allow you to teleport directly to the contact, just like with task forces.
  16. It could have been worse. The event uses the giant monster code, so they were at your level. Back on live, I was in The Hollows and there were a couple dozen people hanging around by the entrance - presumably all in level range for the zone. Then, I saw a high level character run to a door mission quite nearby and an ambush of level 50 Malta showed up. The carnage was epic.
  17. Things are different from live, but we don't have LESS content. In addition to the contact offering repeatable missions, there are four contacts in The Hollows, each with their own mission arc. The first one is Officer David Wincott, who is standing near the Atlas Park entrance. I believe he becomes available at level 5 or 6 and you don't need to be introduced by a previous contact. Just go there and walk up to him. The four contacts are Wincott, Flux (one of the Outcasts), Julius the Troll (a troll, duh) and Talshak the Mystic. Flux gives one of the classic missions in the game - Take Out Frostfire.
  18. Interesting. That's the opposite of what I would have expected. I wonder how many people can be doing it before it starts to be ineffective.
  19. Are you on a big shard? I just looked back through the Everlasting TFs schedule and they ran Master of Lady Grey twice this month - i.e. at a known, predictable time which would allow you to gather a team in advance for the badges. Excelsior has a higher population so I'm guessing it's a regular occurrence there also. According to the wiki, completing the TF triggers two invasions - one in a red zone and one in a blue zone. If you start the TF yourself then head to the appropriate zone immediately after completion, you should be good. Just make sure you have the zone event announcement channel displayed so you know where it's going to happen.
  20. Sure, but you're all grim/dark/undead about it. I have an invuln/dark tank named Chromatic Cat where every attack is a different color of the rainbow. 🙂
  21. Ah yes, Chief Inspector Dreyfus. "Every day, and in every way, I'm getting better and better."
  22. Says the person who has posted in the thread more than anyone excluding the OP. Now tell us how the thread is of no concern or interest to you.
  23. And, despite some useless noise in this thread, plenty of us do appreciate your time and effort.
  24. OMG that's my favorite cut scene. Frostfire: "I was once like you. I too thought the world was simple." Lackey: "Yeah, simple." Frostfire: "Shut up, you moron!" And let's not forget the ice slides. 🙂
