  1. Yeah, sometimes they get shuffled in the display order after an update. They might be on the 2nd or 3rd page. Or the 80th, so Astralock's step 3 is an easier way to find them.
  2. I don't think Defender would be a good choice unless perhaps you're talking about TEAM damage, but then set bonuses would not be applicable. My character most focused on damage is a beam rifle / kinetics corrupter specifically created for the Magisterium iTrial. He only has 13% damage from set bonuses (plus Assault) because his priority was recharge in order to be able to spam Fulcrum Shift - that's where his real damage comes from.
  3. Actually, no. The entire concept of Freedom of Speech only means the government can not restrict your speech or take action against you for it. This forum is privately run. The mods can delete or edit your post in any way they see fit and neither you nor anyone else can do anything about it.
  4. Ooo, that is a good idea. I didn't think of that, even though I noticed it auto-filled the name when I was sending a Transcendent Merit.
  5. Exactly. This is City of Schrodinger - simultaneously too easy and too hard.
  6. To avoid this in the future (I know, it doesn't help now), many people suggest sending yourself an email with no attachment and confirm that it arrives. Then, leave it in your mailbox and when you need to send to yourself, REPLY to that email since you know the global name is correct. And yes, 4 million is small potatoes to many. DM me your global name and I'll send you 4 million. 🙂
  7. I'm reminded of that scene in Futurama: "Bureaucrat Hermes, you are TECHNICALLY correct - which is the best kind of correct." Anyway, go nuts with the Luck of the Gambler (up to five). The only way to have too much recharge is if you don't have the END to support it - and you can build for that.
  8. There are Nemesis arcs in Ouroboros, such as Nemesis Weather Control and Nemesis Rex (which are badge arcs) and a long arc called The Eternal Nemesis. These should all be in (or near) the 40-44 range since they are from Maxwell Christopher and that's his level range. This is blue side. What srmalloy is referring to is a Signature Story Arc. Heldenjaeger is a contact in Steel Canyon and you can teleport to it (yes, "it" - it's a Nemesis Jaeger) using the story arc tab in the LFG window. There's also a red side contact, but I've never used that one. Heldenjaeger is the contact for part 5 of the 'Pandora's Box' signature arc and it's worth doing the whole thing for the story.
  9. Absolutely. My brother has titanium frames, bamboo frames and other types from Zenni. Their glasses are really very nice. However, I'll also point out that they CAN be extremely inexpensive. I have a simple prescription and, to check their quality and the accuracy of the prescription, I bought the cheapest glasses they sold in order to leave a spare pair in my girlfriends car in case I didn't bring mine and need to drive her car. The prescription was exact (as far as my eyes can tell). They look dopey and don't fit very well but they were *** $12 DELIVERED *** and are absolutely fine to sit in her car if I should need them.
  10. Well, @Yomo Kimyata said, "I can tell you exactly what's going on in rare salvage, and it has nothing to do with a shadowy cabal manipulating prices. Well mostly nothing." We're still waiting for elaboration.
  11. ParagonWiki refers to the game as it existed a decade ago. Much of the information (although perhaps not on those two pages) is out of date (i.e. wrong). Much better to link to the Homecoming Wiki, which is updated on an ongoing basis. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Invention_Salvage https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Invention_Salvage_Tiers
  12. I don't like referring to the game as CoX, because there's only one way to pronounce that.
  13. You should be writing poetry.
  14. Question: How did you get the letters to 'wiggle' up and down in that second 'nope'? nope Okay, never mind. I figured it out. 🙂 Edit: If anyone is wondering, it's a combination of the subscript and superscript buttons: x2 x2
  15. So, it sounds like you're SUGGESTING we should do this. Does this belong in the Suggestions section? 😛
  16. Okay, when I read that my mind went somewhere I don't think you intended.
  17. I'll answer that two ways. 1. When I'm building a character, if it costs me an extra few million to get the salvage I need, I could not care less. With a high-end build (in my opinion) costing me 300-400 million, a few million extra is irrelevant. 2. Regarding marketeering - I have simply stopped. I've been buying rare category garbage recipes, crafting and converting by rarity to good stuff to sell. The profit on each sale can be anywhere from 500K to 6 or 7 million. I have no idea what my average profit is, but since it can be as low as 500K, paying an extra 200K or more is too big a cut. I do enjoy working the market in this way and I'm supplying needed IO's. But, since I have enough inf stockpiled for at least my next 10 builds, I'm just waiting for prices to come back down. The uncommon salvage came back down. The rare salvage will also at some point. I'm not in any hurry.
  18. I really have to wonder who was buying. You would think that anyone with that kind of inf to toss around would understand how the market works and *KNOW* that the Aether price was going to nosedive within a week or two.
  19. Well, the fact that's "incarnate content" means exactly the opposite of what you seem to be thinking. If you're 50 and set regular content to +4, the enemies will be (around) level 54 and you'll be either 50 or 51 (if your Alpha slot is T3 or higher). If you're 50 and set incarnate content to +4, the enemies will be (around) level 54 - BUT - you will be level 53 if you have all the incarnate level shifts. TL;DR version: So-called 'incarnate content' is often easier than 'regular content' due to the level shifts.
  20. You left out a zero. On the first day, they were going for 200M. I kept all of mine because I do badges. My girlfriend sold 4 for a total of 800 million. 😲
  21. um, no. I, for example, have 18 level 50's and exactly zero of them were power leveled at all - not even a single level worth.
  22. 1. This isn't an individual desire. I've heard this from a number of people and that's what prompted me to start a thread. 2. The devs SPECIFICALLY ask for feedback in order to ADJUST (your word) their plans for the game development.
  23. I'm calling this unfocused feedback because it's not about any particular change in the beta patch notes. It's not about any particular change in any of the recent updates. It's about the annoying (to me) trend of making changes at a basic level that requires respeccing characters. Adjusting stats on powers is fine. Adding new powersets is great. Proliferating sets is great. Completely rewriting existing powers sucks. If the devs could focus their efforts on other categories of 'improvements', that would be great.
  24. Your available transfers replenish every 3 days.
