I think I run into this most with Council mobs in TF's like Yin, Citadel, etc. I wonder what causes them to spawn in at like level 6 sometimes.

OMG, I have this happen in almost every TF I run where one mob in a mish or two cons grey. I started to think I was going crazy because every time I have brought it up to my teammates, they never notice/see it.

This isn't challenge, this is just plain masochistic. If you don't wish to use the hosp/base when you're defeated, then don't. But wtf is your team supposed to do if you all wipe and no one has a self-rez?

It could be because Perez Park is considered a hazard zone, and not a regular part of Paragon City. I would see if you get the same issue in another hazard zone like The Hollows as well.

No, but I'm also of the mindset that I roll certain AT's/powersets knowing that parts/all of my costume will be obscured and am okay with it.

It's not you; the powerset as a whole favors controllers, especially after you factor the pet in. Kind of a bummer for sure. Definitely wonder if it's not worth taking the pet for a dom as you mentioned and freeing up that pick for an extra power elsewhere.

This is not true. My level 30 stalker got an aether drop from one of the Moonfire missions tonight.

Symph/Sonic is a pretty potent combo, though I liked it better before they fixed the Reverb's AI, for soloing post level 40 anyway. And, afaik, Symphony hasn't been added to MIDs yet, which might be why builds aren't popping up for it. I'd check out this thread from Tex, where slotting strategies were discussed for Symp while we were still in the beta: Symphony is a great set, once you get used to the playstyle; there's always folks who don't like it, but it's not a bad set in and of itself.

I have asked for folks to save me a spot so I can alt because I have altitis. I also often don't know off-hand which alt I am going to switch to, but I always try to ask and to ask politely (e.g., Would you mind holding a spot for me while I alt?) Then I wait for an answer. If they say yes, I say thank you brb, I'll send you a tell when I'm back. I try to make my switch as quick as possible and always shoot a return tell saying Hey this is [name of whatever alt I was on before switching] so they're aware of who I am. I generally try to alt before I shoot a tell though, and if I miss out, I move on. I just often log in on a character I might be up to soloing/refreshing their days logged out which gives me a chance to see if there's anything going on that I might want to join before going about my business.

Here's what Lurking Monster's two looks I made for today had I been able to make it; both with and without her shields on. If nothing comes up, I'm hoping to be there for Numina on Lurking Monster - Human WS as well. Gonna make her both a black and white costume, but the white powers have black tint to them because of her being a WS I guess, so I can't get them pure white.

Dual Blades/Energy Aura Stalker is so much fun. Tanky and with good damage.

Agreed. Not only do I like HC, admittedly the population here is a huge draw. Knowing I can pop onto Everlasting and get on a team within minutes is really nice. I also appreciate that HC has drastically reduced the "grind" to get to 50. My play time is extremely limited and I'm pretty much an uber casual, so I like what's offered here. Sorry, yes, population is a huge draw, and definitely probably THE game feature, as you mention; I know it plays a strong contender for me.

From what I've seen of them on Reddit, Rebirth has a dev team that feels a lot like HC's team (e.g., really care about making the right kinds of changes, wanting to make sure additions are tested well before being released, building a solid experience, etc.); if I wanted to test out other servers, it would probably be them. Imo, their biggest issue is that HC has the vast majority of the CoH population.

That means a lot to hear that given the amazing talent of costume designers in here. ❤️ She's definitely one of my proudest and most favorite creations, and the idea came about randomly as I was in the character creator and the randomizer had picked a half helmet option and I got to playing with them.

Yeah, I love the Reverb, but he was better before they "fixed" him in beta and made him ranged. I get that's what he was supposed to be all along, but before when he had the default AI, little dude was in melee tanking sometimes 2 groups on my test controller. We didn't get as much time to test him once they gave him his proper ranged AI, but we did bring up that now that he's ranged he doesn't like to engage properly and the echoes of our powers don't feel as effective. I haven't leveled up my Symph characters on live far enough yet to get the Reverb, my experiences are purely from playing the set in beta.

It is indeed the Valkyrie chest, found under the regular tights/tops/whatever they call that for males option. 🙂
