  1. Your single target immob absolutely will though, as will your secondary holds.
  2. Isnt this what web grenade is for? M30 w/ kd conversion proc? Buckshot w/ kd conversion proc? With the 2 sec animation, and these fast cast options, it is trivial to keep some (most?) of your targets on their back/immob while you light them up with ignite, and still pump out damage. Two of those powers are in ar proper. Toxic web grenade is in /dev, and has a 17.88 sec duration on the immob before slotting. (ar/dev, kinda an oldschool thing :P) For aoe effect, you get glue arrow in a secondary, dark pit, ice patch, throw sand, various holds. All of those provide a modicum of immob-ness in an aoe that will allow you to apply multiple stacks of ignite. Even better, you get a st immob at level 1 on all blaster secondaries, which can be used at range to dump multiple ignites on hard targets.
  3. Push the _NotAfterburner_ button for 30 seconds of the same, without use of any extraneous power.
  4. If you are in AE mode when you start a TF, you cant enter the damn mish doors. I STARTED a TF, and couldnt enter the damned doors. Im pretty grr. It wasn't clear until AFTER the first mish that I was stuck in AE mode.
  5. People actually take this power. I think for pvp too. It isnt as utterly unused as one might think. I have been surprised over the years at the number of people that take it!
  6. This is insane. Someone will have to explain how this makes those badges unobtainable. Sounds more like if you need to be at max range to kill something, probably an issue of new tactics?
  7. Ooooh! I wonder if this will fix the random rubberbanding I get on live! (I have gige connection, so it doesnt make much sense with a 100ish ping why I would be rubberbanding...)
  8. As much as that would be nice, it seems unlikely, since order of powers is what matters most. Plus, it takes the existing level-up format for ui, which everyone is intimately familiar. Anything that is moar better/efficient would likely be a vast departure from the existing ui.

  12. I have to say, this patch is troublesome. A lot of powers (looking at you standard pools) werent really worth investing in, and suddenly are. Its a bit, well. Overwhelming. So many new char options are open. I got a stone tank that is dying to get these new power mods up on live! edit: Probably take fly! Woo!

  15. I am running a bio/dm tank at the moment. I don't know what the scrapper tohit debuff value for touch of fear is at the moment, but base is __10.5__ for tanks, pre-boost. That is a massive tohit debuf right out of the gate! Pair a tohit debuf + damage proc, and you are cookin with gas 🙂

This is probably like tips; Tips spawn wherever you are geophysically (with some extremely rare cases), which why tip teams run out of atlas (smallest distance between tips, + ease of access to resources/noob filler). In the case of a vig taking a "hero" case on redside, the mish would spawn in an appropriate location redside as far as I can tell. At least, this would be the case for NEW contacts (for a given value of "new" being the last 5 or so issues of live)

  18. I love my fire/dark/foldspace/mu tank so much, i rebuilt her as bio/dark/foldspace and am enjoying it. It plays just like fire, but less burn, more proc. Jane will be the all original, but this bio gal is pretty fantastic. Funny thing is, generally i hate tanks. These two are massive standouts. 🙂 (i like tanks on the team)

  20. This I rely on. It works a million times better on a tank than a brute. I thought it would be good on my farmer brute, but my not farmer tank gets much much much more agro control out of it than the brute ever does.
  21. No. They want to feel heroic, villainous, or praetorian. And not all powersets get you to feeling one of those things by level X. Some "boutique" power combinations only work when you throw lots of crap on top. Others "just work", and you get that feeling early on. But really, people want to smash a lot of pixels, not stand and have a bunch of people on a team fight one block of pixels for however long.
