This is wildly random. You can: Market easy targets for converter fodder or inf Buy dirt cheap recipes, craft, convert in-group, then catalyze (which can actually be massively cheaper than other ways of getting things) merit buy farm moar market I can market up 10-20 mil inf in about 15 minutes or less of putzing half afk near a workbench w/ /ah access. Market is idle money. Merits can be turned into mass quantities of inf used appropriately with converters and _patience_. It is totally reasonable to spend 10mil inf + a ton of merits turned into converters to build an entire toon, over the course of a few weeks. Merits are easy to get, at 20 per pop per week for the Signature Story Arcs, starting at like level 10. Plus monster hunting teams for 6 per, and 10 for first kill of adamastor for the day. VERY EASY to convert easy grab merits to huge inf stacks.

I have never heard of someone swapping interfaces, or ask what im running for incarnates. This must be some alter-dimension stuff. 😄
-
Works a treat on hard or dangerous targets though!

I use 2? slot cloud senses for -tohit/acc, proc, (3 erads?), and a 3rd proc. The tohit on a tank is massive, and stacks. Running on a defensive-ish fire tank, the stacking -tohit makes it pretty much unkillable. The same would be true on a scrapper. Def look into 2 slotting cloud senses.

enm/rad, for the rad procbombs, expanded radius on buffed power crash.

I hardly ever take buildup. There are more efficient ways for me to get durability, or damage, or utility than a clicky that only works for a few seconds. And as mentioned before, at end game or high end or whatever, things just die and by the time I have popped buildup, half the spawn is already dead, unless im racing ahead of the team.

Sorcery Pool Updates in Issue 27, Page 2
Hew replied to Captain Powerhouse's topic in Developer's Corner
Time buffs were significantly weakened in i27 page 1 with the changes to incarnates and their boosts to +special, and included as far as i remember, direct effect on how strong farsight. Hint, it isnt as strong with a million buffs as it was prior to i27. edit: From the patch notes: Incarnate > Destiny > Clarion: Fixed an issue that caused Clarion's buff to increase the strength of other +special buffs -
Sorcery Pool Updates in Issue 27, Page 2
Hew replied to Captain Powerhouse's topic in Developer's Corner
There are a million and one powers and reasons to go with them as to why we cant self-target powers. Look at pretty much every single buff support set, and you will find powers you cant target yourself with, because if you could, they would be game breakingly strong. -
Or just don't use granite at all! This is on a moderate build, no incarnates, no granite. Which means now, zero speed/jump/travel penalty. With incarnates: I am curious to update it using infiltrate.

Focused Feedback: Power Changes (Release Candidates)

Nerf regen -
I ran a huntswoman. Because of the ease you can break the SoA rifle attacks, it basically plays like a high speed FPS. Pew pew pew. That was a huntswoman though, so no weird bane attacks, and zero crab backpack. I regularly group with a crabbermind, and shes pretty insane.

Make you a deal. Lets have the lockout shared between epics and origin pools.
-
Which is all but meaningless given the effectiveness of other pools in comparision. Do you drive a car? Or a bicycle with one wheel. Origin pools were never intended to be on par with patron pools or epics. They were meant as flavor with some utility. If you look through the powers in depth, it is clear that is the case. Instead, RoP is so far ahead of simple utility that it becomes a cornerstone of builds that it breaks that mold like a bolt of lightning.
-
But not epics. And from general discussion, people seem to be pretty non-plussed about the content in other origin pools. There has been an awful lot of "why nerf rop, why not buff the other t5s"....
-
Strawman. Scorpion shield requires a lockout. RoP does not. You can take both if you felt like it. The lockout makes it more palatable, because other fun epics cant be taken, and frankly, life is not all about scorpion shield. Indeed, there are reasons to take pretty much any of the epic pools (more so the patron pools than the regulars, but not by a whole lot)
-
I believe you are looking for infiltration. edit: my edit didnt work: (yes, there should be incombat defense. infiltration does not have incombat defense) In-combat defence is unchanged
-
Spring attack is not as good as shield charge or lightning rod. It is a T5. That is one of many. The gap between spring attack and RoP is like, 10 light years. Other T5s have the same gap. RoP borders on equivalency with t9 primary/secondary powers, and in some cases, exceeds it. That is not normal. Else, spring attack would be on the same playing field as either lrod or scharge.

Can someone link a pic of this obnoxious gold skybeam? I have no idea what you guys are talking about 😄

zapp, the foot sweep pbaoe, shield charge, ball lightning, xpunch. It is all hyperfast cast times, and pumps out a nonstop pile of damage.

I would never kick you and think it is stupid that someone would do so. -

Put it back to the damn way it was right before this silliness. It was in a good spot before this change. -
