  1. You can buy base teleporter for, what, 1 mil? from p2w, which does whats on the tin. Also, you can get monitor duty teleport, which also does whats on the tin.
  2. Moved to evasive man, which you would have automatically pushed into your build if you had afterburner previously.
  3. This is the entire point Taboo. Just because you have been able to do something, that clearly was NOT WAI, doesnt mean you should expect it to stay so indefinitely.
  4. Yes and no. I can no longer do what I did. That was expected, since it was totally broken anyway. The char itself works exactly as it had before, once cheese is removed.
  5. It does indeed do pretty decent damage!
  6. Breaking root and animation was actually really easy if you knew what you were doing and could be abused to benefit the player. My classic example of that was my root-free huntswoman that played quite literally like a fps game. Nothing I did rooted, despite several of the powers actually having a root portion.
  7. Sorcery pool is pretty awesome with the arcane power and enflame and rune of protection! and i LOVE infiltrate
  8. Radios in general arent challenging. Run tips instead. Wider array of mobs, more dangerous mobs.

It might actually be claws in the top spot (gasp, quite serious here). Last I checked it was in the top 3. edit: There is more to AVERAGE dps than pounding on a pylon, which is pretty meaningless in the course of play. At no point (other than Kahn), do you sit around pounding on a relatively immobile bag of hitpoints _in play_. You are always moving, dealing with various levels of mobs in different groupings, which is why @Galaxy Brain?s test for dps over average play map test works so effectively.
  10. Mine goes back to the wishlist of the whatever it was: Hybrid hami EATS from Praetoria. Genespliced and the like, with very unique DE based powers. A PEAT could drop DE emanators for instance, and that would be... interesting... considering all the crap those things can do.
  11. So I went all in on travel powers. Super speed, combat jumping and infiltrate. (and hasten but dat dont count yo). It is REMARKABLY efficient on beta, against all flavors of badness. Without any incarnates at all (I was too lazy to freebie myself), I could waltz through DA at +4/8. Admittedly, bosses took a while to burn down, but hey +4, and zero incarnate powers. Here is the build. Now to figure out how to buy 6 microfilaments. Please be aware that stealth is actually infiltrate. Cough cough, do I know you under a different name? Cough.
  13. except when you have recipes to craft you want to keep but are odd levels! 😄 definitely a reason to catalyze winteros as soon as you hit 50, and to deal with the odd level self-crafted enhs you made, imo.
  14. Base storage. New 50s should be able to catalyze whatever they need immediately, imo. Winteros, pvp ios, random level set ios you dont have an attuned version of...
  15. I thought about that, but the winter set bonuses at 2 are really hard to pass up on a willpower with not much resist or def baked in. Athletic run is great and all, but its high end cost and I cant slot it. I run ninja/beast/athletic on like EVERYTHING i have, so this is an experiment in playing with travel pools, and it seems pretty palatable.
  16. I couldnt fit in sj + cj, so went with just cj (because 3 picks for infiltrate). (unless i missed something, need to look again) edit: In theory, ss should address height needs, as long as I can get a long run in, and worst case scenario, I have infiltrate high jump access. edit edit: So, infiltrate is single pick available (thank god!), and ss slotted with the winter set gets me enough juice to go where i need. I am going to opt for 3 slots in infiltrate (2 winters + lotg), 2 slots in ss (2 winters), combat jumping single slot lotg. THis leaves me two powers. Practice demonstrated that I can get A LOT of jump on that slotting, and if I can get a decent run (it builds up) I can make good jumps even without sj. SS is badass. Clicking on the ghost ability is bad ass in a bucket.
  17. Psy melee is fine enough, especially for a casual play. Scrappers, having a lower +resist cap, generally do better with defense pools (easier to stack set io bonuses to maximize power values), but can do just fine with +res pools as well with creative set io slotting. Really, just run through and try everything! They are really tough, and after some getting comfortable with them, you might end up in Scrapperlock mentality and never go back.

EnM/Bio/Moonbeam all the way. Hahah. But for real, zapp +ball lightning for more aoe (and of course enm/bio). Did I mention EnM/Bio?
  19. MA was already updated once with free splash damage, and it blew up on beta with complaints. The splash damage was 100% free, but enough people (didn't test? just wanted to complain?) felt that was the wrong direction that it was stripped out.
  20. What is the problem to be solved? No, this is a genuine question, zero sarcasm. I play a lot of support chars and don't really see any issues, especially with the change to defenders scaling self-bonus related to team size.
  21. Damnit. How?! I have been trying to get there for ages and have never succeeded.
  22. Will give it a shot. Having a limit on playtime due to work + parenting, plus since starting my new job and getting regular sleep, I havent been waking up at 4am in the morning. Edit: Im just going to take hasten, ss, sj, cj, infiltrate, and stealth 😛
  23. There is no other way to see Manny Gas, which I think was intentional.
