Agreed. We usually make a big deal in voice chat when we see someone who isn't on our team. This past memorial Day weekend, I noticed an increase in "Whoah Hey Look, Someone Who Isn't Us!!" callouts. Good times 🙂

Devs, Super Reflexes in need of an update....
BZRKR replied to Blackjoy's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I like Elude for what it currently is: an easily skippable power. While it's good to look at things and see if there are improvements to be made, I think Super Reflexes isn't in need of much. Maybe add the choice to take a Master Brawler (The absorb shield mez protection that Sentinels can choose) on other AT's, maybe look into power order. But honestly, I think there are better things for the Devs to spend their time on. -
On my Super Strength/Electric Brute I monitor my damage bonus and when Rage crashes, the number is a nice and easy to see red. Often I /em drink while rage-crashed, to stay hydrated.

Trying blue but I want to kill Longbow..part 1
BZRKR replied to The_Warpact's topic in General Discussion
Oh yeah, the real queen of NPC's that need rescuing: Doctor FREAKING Todd! "Let me just speed boost you in a council cave map, and then energy blast the enemies into every nook and cranny! YEE HAWW!" -
I'm sure it would take a lot of work, but given that Water blast is so good looking and satisfying to use, I support any addition of water melee, water control, water manipulation, or even water armor that the Devs chose to tackle. Your ideas are good, and you should feel good about them 👍

Let's talk about melee cones, because I suck at them
BZRKR replied to KaizenSoze's topic in General Discussion
I aim for the far side of a group, at the max range of the cone, if I aim at all. The idea is that if your target is right next to you, they don't have to move far to swing the whole cone away from where you want it to go. By comparison, a target at the edge of the cone has to go farther to mess up your alignment. To illustrate, in the diagram below, we have a 90 degree arc that represents the Eviscerate (Widow_Training) power. You can see how the Red circle can move the arc of your attack more with the same distance traveled as the Green circle. -
When my group asks me to "bring DPS" I reach for my Ice Blast /Cold Domination Corruptor. I have a Water Blast/ Fire Manipulation/ Flame Mastery Blaster that is an absolute joy to play.
-
Late to the party, but I find my Electric Blast/ Electrical Affinity Corruptor is pretty clicky, with tons of blasts, buffs, debuffs, and Faraday Cage to click.
-
I was thinking Green would be good, but then I googled "On Air" signs, and it seemed that Red was the most common color.
-
Maybe roll characters on Indomitable, level them up in small to mid size leagues, and then transfer them where you want to play?

I've got your back Marbing 🙂

The Katana/Rad can be built to emphasize -Def, which will make it a nice addition to things like the Aeon Strike Force and more. Be sure to take Ground Zero, so that someday you'll pick up the "Empath" badge that you can wear with pride 🙂

What we really need is for at least four zones to have names that start with "J", "L", "O", and "Q" So that we have a continuous run through the alphabet up to "Q".

The Guardian will cast the powers. I have no idea if stance influences how/ when/ where it does so. Looking at City of Data for the Guardian at: https://cod.uberguy.net./html/powerset.html?pset=incarnate.lore_pet_knives_support We can see that "Guardianship" has a 260 second recharge, so it's unlikely to be cast more than once or twice per summon. Rallying Cry recharges in 90 seconds. so you just have to be one of the 16 targets in the 40ft radius to get buffed by it. Also, the CoD entries helpfully show you the buff icons, so you'll know what to look for.
-
Simply roll a Mace/Shield and a Claws/Bio and have fun bashing and melting stuff 🙂
-
Yeah, you just have to keep an eye on your health bar, and when the grey gets knocked off, hit Ablative Carapace. Meanwhile, you can use DNA Siphon and Parasitic Aura on cool down mixed in with attacks and Taunt.
-
Seconded. Minimal FX and/ or Recolorable if possible.
-
It looks like Toxins (link) grants your character the power "Toxins" (link) that adds toxic damage to your attacks instead of a +damage effect. It would be more accurate for the description to say something other than "+Dmg", but you should see more damage while the power is in effect. You may want to post something in the Bug Reports forum.
-
I recommend the following phrase: "A Tanker that can't pull through Stealth is NO TANKER AT ALL." That goes for Dark Armor Tankers pulling with Cloak of Shadows running. All you have to do is use your attacks and Taunt and everything works just fine.

Your battle plan looks good. Creating a dangerous place for the next mob, putting that mob in the dangerous place, and putting Singularity in with them creates a blender of death. When different powers are available, you may want to change it up, but you have the basic idea. I rarely proc out powers because I usually am chasing set bonuses, but check out this thread Water spout with Knockback to Knockdown should be fine, especially if it's what you want to do! If you want +recharge, you'll have to slot for it. In case you haven't take a look here and here for inspiration. As an example, on my Grav/Dark/Psi, I have Apocalypse in Lift, Preventive Medicine in Twilight Grasp, Superior Will of the Controller in Gravity Distortion, Gravitational Anchor in Crushing Field and more. I'm at work so I can't post a Mids build. On Homecoming you get 1000 character slots per shard. Build and play all of the controllers you can dream up!
-
I run the game at 2% volume (in game settings). Any higher and it's overwhelming. Has there been any discussion about why the game itself is so loud? Is this to make glowies easier to hear?
-
I set Domination for auto-fire, bind Hasten to the tilde (~) key, and when Hasten recharges, I hit tilde with my pinky. I also build for enough recharge that I have as much overlap as possible.

I think Electrical Affinity's Faraday Cage is the status protection you'd want, along with EA's toolbox. Illusion would give you PA to attract attention off of you while you were punching, as well as a Deceive and Spectral Terror. Plant would give you the Seeds of Confusion/ Carrion Creeper toolbox, along with Spirit tree to add regen to your Faraday Cage fighting arena. Darkness would give you a host of cool options, with plenty of -acc for safety and Shadow Field that will stay where you put it, just like Faraday cage.... Hmmmm... If I was going to make a Fighting Pool controller this weekend, I think I'd go Dark/Electric/Psi and run around yelling "Welcome to the THUNDERDOME!"

Resist to Endurance Draining attacks, where are they?
BZRKR replied to Solarverse's topic in General Discussion
In these City of Data entries: https://cod.uberguy.net./html/power.html?power=tanker_defense.radiation_armor.gamma_boost&at=tanker https://cod.uberguy.net./html/power.html?power=tanker_defense.electric_armor.static_shield&at=tanker There are entries that read like: "+86.5% Resistance (Endurance, Recovery) (self only) for 1.25s" and "+129.75% Resistance (Endurance, Recovery) (all affected targets) for 0.75s" I would guess that resisting Endurance is the thing that resists Endurance Drain. Also, Radiation and Electric armor seems to have it. Edit: And Bio and Invulnerability https://cod.uberguy.net./html/power.html?power=tanker_defense.bio_organic_armor.inexhaustible&at=tanker https://cod.uberguy.net./html/power.html?power=tanker_defense.invulnerability.resist_energies&at=tanker
