  1. If I were a Regen Re-vive, Reconstruction, Integration, Quick Recovery, Dull Pain! All day long, I'd Dull Pain and Revive If I were a true Regen!
  2. I think you can log off while on a TF and when you log back in, you'll still be on the TF: from https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Task_Force (emphasis mine) "While running a task force, none of the team's other missions are available to them, and normal contacts won't interact with the player. This also means that stores who are contacts (such as Ghost Falcon or Serafina, for example) are unavailable for purchasing Enhancements during a task force. Arena stores, Pocket D, Wentworth's, and Ouroboros are still accessible to purchase (often much needed) inspirations. Once the task force has formed, you must continue to run the task force until you finish it or drop from it. Task force missions can be run over several play sessions; the game allows you to log out without dropping from the task force."
  3. You're mostly correct here. Be sure you're looking at the Cryptic server data on City of Data. In the links below, look on the left hand side for "Attack types" https://cod.uberguy.net./html/power.html?power=controller_control.illusion_control.spectral_wounds&at=controller https://cod.uberguy.net./html/powerset.html?pset=blaster_ranged.psychic_blast&at=blaster Spectral Wounds and Psychic Blast have Ranged or Area attack types in addition to Psionic, so Shield and SR will defend against those. And if you look at Blind and Mind Control https://cod.uberguy.net./html/power.html?power=controller_control.illusion_control.blind&at=controller https://cod.uberguy.net./html/powerset.html?pset=controller_control.mind_control&at=controller You'll see that the only attack type is Psionic, and so Shield and SR won't do anything on their own, as you said.
  4. Do you mean the thing where if one part of the interface failed to proc, the other would automatically fail as well? I believe that's fixed, but maybe someone can confirm. I also go Degenerative Core on my melee characters unless I'm doing something thematic.
  5. My picks: Claws/Bio: A never ending whirlwind of attacks. I skipped Eviscerate, so no flips. I put Knock Down procs in DNA siphon and Spin for added safety/ "impact" Dark Melee/ Radiation: A swiss army knife with an answer for almost every problem. Soul Drain, Dark Consumption, Ground Zero, and Mighty Judgement lets this character own any circular patch of ground she walks into. Energy Melee/ Energy Aura: This one just runs around punching things in the face or face equivalent. Almost never gets hit. When she does, Energize. If she's low on END, Energy Drain.
  6. This is a very good point, and such a street sweeping bounty system would should be set up to avoid the Numina enemy group/zone combinations. Especially Vahz in Faultline.
  7. Super Jump is Great. Super Jump + Combat Jump is Perfect. Super Jump + Combat Jump + Double Jump is even more Perfecter. If you are missing ledges at a half-mile range, maybe your internet provider has some explaining to do? *Obviously these are all (correct) opinions, void where prohibited.
  8. I don't have any info regarding the question you're asking. However, I like slotting Ragnarok if that set isn't needed elsewhere in the build, especially the knockdown proc. Few things are as satisfying as the almighty THUMP! that follows a Howling Twilight at the pull point in an MSR.
  9. Hello there! Do you mean Rebirth? If so, do you like Core or Radial?
  10. Cool idea, especially if it worked through power customization so every costume could have the options.
  11. It's in an odd place:
  12. Have you looked at Radiation? https://cod.uberguy.net/html/powerset.html?pset=tanker_defense.radiation_armor&at=tanker
  13. Did you see the teleport power that comes with Speed of Sound?
  14. Agreed. We usually make a big deal in voice chat when we see someone who isn't on our team. This past memorial Day weekend, I noticed an increase in "Whoah Hey Look, Someone Who Isn't Us!!" callouts. Good times 🙂
  15. I like Elude for what it currently is: an easily skippable power. While it's good to look at things and see if there are improvements to be made, I think Super Reflexes isn't in need of much. Maybe add the choice to take a Master Brawler (The absorb shield mez protection that Sentinels can choose) on other AT's, maybe look into power order. But honestly, I think there are better things for the Devs to spend their time on.
  16. On my Super Strength/Electric Brute I monitor my damage bonus and when Rage crashes, the number is a nice and easy to see red. Often I /em drink while rage-crashed, to stay hydrated.
  17. What's a Prog?
  18. Oh yeah, the real queen of NPC's that need rescuing: Doctor FREAKING Todd! "Let me just speed boost you in a council cave map, and then energy blast the enemies into every nook and cranny! YEE HAWW!"
  19. I'm sure it would take a lot of work, but given that Water blast is so good looking and satisfying to use, I support any addition of water melee, water control, water manipulation, or even water armor that the Devs chose to tackle. Your ideas are good, and you should feel good about them 👍
  20. I aim for the far side of a group, at the max range of the cone, if I aim at all. The idea is that if your target is right next to you, they don't have to move far to swing the whole cone away from where you want it to go. By comparison, a target at the edge of the cone has to go farther to mess up your alignment. To illustrate, in the diagram below, we have a 90 degree arc that represents the Eviscerate (Widow_Training) power. You can see how the Red circle can move the arc of your attack more with the same distance traveled as the Green circle.
  21. When my group asks me to "bring DPS" I reach for my Ice Blast /Cold Domination Corruptor. I have a Water Blast/ Fire Manipulation/ Flame Mastery Blaster that is an absolute joy to play.
  22. Late to the party, but I find my Electric Blast/ Electrical Affinity Corruptor is pretty clicky, with tons of blasts, buffs, debuffs, and Faraday Cage to click.
  23. I was thinking Green would be good, but then I googled "On Air" signs, and it seemed that Red was the most common color.
  24. Maybe roll characters on Indomitable, level them up in small to mid size leagues, and then transfer them where you want to play?
