Agreed. I'm thinking Rad/Claw tank. What do you think? Too clicky?

Lovely answers all, thank you!!

Funny you should say that. Claws was my very very first CoH character back on early live but by then, I didn't understand the game and it wasn't as fleshed out as it is now so, I didn't enjoy it much. This time, I enjoyed it SO MUCH I decided to check the Stalker version because I LOVE stalkers. And they I cried, internally. (But those were manly tears). No focus, no spin. They sucked the fun out of claws. So then, what would another AT-Combo be to utterly enjoy Claws? Because i will want a second one for sure.

Hello people. Suppose a level 50 char is exemplared to 20, I understand that all powers that were unlocked 26+ will be unavailable (5 level wiggle room if I remember correctly) but what about slots and sets? Are slots placed much later be invalidated as well? Are sets usually not available for such a level stop being useful even if they are slotted on a Pre-20 power? Thanks!

So I tried that but with a twist. Grabbed 100 yellow recipes of a variety I know and like. Average cost: 15K because I wanted them NAO NAO NAO. = 1 500 000 Salvage: 4K per recipe, again, I wanted it NAO. = 400 000 Creation (Level 31) is 48 200 inf = 4 820 000 (Could be done with level 21 recipes but one single LOTG compensates for the 21 to 31 cost difference) Converters at 66.6K each, for a total of 319 converters used for 20 600 000 I used 2(+10% for oops) converters to get from UC to Rare, and then 1 converter to rare-roulette on MOST of recipes (some 15-20 of them I knew would already sell well) Total investment: 27 396 00 So 274K per recipe. I sold at 330K but I could have sold at 305 and still be in the green. Total net profit after 100 sales: 105M. So about 1 Million per recipe. "Small" profit, but VERY little effort. Easy ro reproduce fast and without thinking. Could shave a few millions by shopping better and getting converters with merits. Good stuff.

Ooooooooookay. It's just a little bit insane how spending some 40 Millions on a good build to replace generic SOs can turn a great character into.... Seriously. That spin damage. Wow. Totally amazed.

This is gloriously beautiful and it gives me an idea. I will do the maths, try it with a100-200 sample pool and come back with results.

Giving players a LIKE or THUMBS UP for Costumes!
Aeroprism replied to Phanto's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
This. I do the same. (Though I never got any because I suck at costume) Also, your avatar makes you incredibly awesome in my book. -
True, we have two build options. Smart!!

I can absolutely live with that. So the build must be planned appropriately so exemping doesn't feel like punishment.

Shameful admitance: though I have played hundreds and hundreds of hours, most of the story I have never seen. (I clicked ONE spoiler and immediately regretted, SO MUCH I don't know yet.) So quick question: can I view most of this fantastic story/universe AFTER my character out-levelled it? After all this time, it is still my sincere hope that one of my alts will strike a chord in my heart where I will say "That one. THAT is the character through which I want to live ALL of the story." But that decision can't be made with a level 1 character." So, tl;dr version: Can I do all of this once I reach cap and feel like a real superhero?

Well, it's a power that gets better with more mobs around you so I figured it wasn't a panic button but more like, a button that will help you not to get to a point where you might need a panic button. Won't know until I try it and respecs are cheap anyways.

Riiiiight. I wonder if I will ever stop being a noob at this. Yeah I was one version behind, thanks for that!! Ok my jaw dropped when I saw Evasive Maneuvers' defense numbers. It closed back when I saw the tiny character clause 😄 Still no Parasitic Aura. Is it such a bad power?
-
Holy molly you improved hasten by 30 seconds. Level 24 has no power in that build so I moved boxing there and picked Parasitic Aura at 41 to test it.
-
Oh you fixed the original post. Derp, my bad 🙂 Thanks!
-
Oh? You have that somewhere? I had modified it just a bit, removing Afterburner in favor of Bio's T9. I know, it's a LOTG 7.5% less but that T9 looks fun.
-
I was looking for a good Claw/Bio build. I had that brut for... a long time now but the itch to play it was real. So I looked. And looked. And looked. Page 11!! 2019! Comes this magical, awesome build. And of course, it's @Sovera. My day is done. Thanks again!

I would have kept an additional 5 inf as a tip. Just for giggles.

Weird. I always play with the sound on. When I play, I play. I can't multitask. I do have friends who play games while they watch shows while they listen to audiobooks. I just can't. I'm ADHD so, either entirely, completely focused on something, or not at all.

I'm in a mission, fighting Shivans. When they get hit or explode, they all go "uh oh" "hwaaaah" "huuuh" Has it always been like this? Maybe it's the covid-vaccine induced fever talking but, I just can't stop laughing!

I think I did a POSI once. Dunno which one. I did a Striga TF too back on live, and the Terra Volta respec. That's it. I have hundreds and thousands of hours of CoH/V behind me and I don't think I've seen 10% of the game. I have no idea what an ITF is. I have never seen a Cimerroan (sp?). AV? That's Dr Vahz and the Clockwork King. Right? Waddya mean there's more?? I need to make more friends.

I understand where the OP is going with this but I also agree with @wjrasmussen If you want to do other things, do them. There is no need for a reward but the reward of doing it. [old man] I remember, playing Everquest. Mobs didn't stop chasing you unless you changed zones and the more you fled, the more aggroed. This is what we called a "train". I used to hang out in low level zones, managing trains and buffing new characters. The reward? Itself. [/old man] You want to do things even if they don't give XP or merits? Do them. It's already easy enough to break this game, let's not break it further.

You know, I joined Homecoming almost a year ago and with the only exception of my two farmer builds that were powerleveled (I don't even use them anymore), I have yet to reach a single 50. My highest as of now is 41. A healthy mix of taking my sweet time with everything and "OH I GOTTA TRY THIS ALT IDEA!"
