Absolutely. It just is so layered. Yes, resist sets aren’t typically optimal on a Scrapper… BUT Rad Armor meltdown gives a larger damage % buff on scrappers that Brutes and Tankers don’t get. I’m not saying it makes it a BETTER choice on Scrappers than Brutes or Tankers, but it is something to think about. Also, pretty much all primaries seem to pair with it nicely. I’m looking at rolling a DM/Rad or Claws/Rad myself. Hell, the new Fire Melee may pair with it pretty well.

Absolutely. I love that they’ve brought everything up to be “running with the pack” (although some are more towards the front haha). Hell, I love Kinetic Melee, even though it’s one of the lower performers. My KM/Ice Armor Scrap is one of my personal faves. FM seems like it will fit together SUPER well with Shield. Rad Armor seems like it could pair nicely as well. Stone Armor seems to go with everything. Although I agree with you… the lack of a taunt aura hurts it.

Any specific secondaries you think pair well with it on a Scrapper? Or the usual suspects?

Water blast is just a TON of fun. I do actually have a Water/Cold Corruptor, but I colored the water black and it looks like he’s controlling shadows.

First off, forgive my LOTR cheese 😆 Anyways, recently had baby #4 and gameplay time has been pretty low haha. I can get on later some evenings now, and I’m looking to slow level a Defender (or possibly Corruptor if the pairing is better there). These are some combos I have in mind, and I’d love to hear other’s opinions (or suggestions of other pairings!): Elec/Elec Defender: I hear it is a bit more difficult to pilot, but that it brings a TON to any team. Really good for tough content. Thermal/Ice Defender: Just a cool concept. Ice brings some safety and Thermal really seems like a Jack of all trades. Elec/Thermal Corruptor: So I just saw this build posted the other day and it seems like it’d be an amazing Sapper, while still bringing good buffs/debuffs to the team. Fire/Kin Corruptor: Seems like hell on wheels! Probably pushes to max Corruptor damage, and most teams love a kin. Water/Storm Defender: I could see this being a total end hog… but an offensive powerhouse for a Defender. That being said, not sure how it’d fair in team environments (I tend to team a lot), or in the new HM content. Would love to hear thoughts/suggestions!

How do you like the updated Fire Armor on Tankers?

How is everyone liking the new Battle Axe and FM so far? Seems like they could both fit best on a tanker. To be fair… almost everything seems like it fits best on a tanker these days 😂

My most played Brute is a Sav/Bio. The synergy is really great, with Sav and Bio's DOTS being pumped up by Fury. Just a ton of orange numbers floating around, which is very satisfying 😂

I have no doubt it is! How do you like it? I love how Water Blast re-colors. You could make it all black and, paired with Dark Miasma, look like you’re controlling shadows and what not.

Yeah, Fire/Dark sounds like a classic as well. Water/Dark sounds like it could be ridiculously safe and good for HM content

Would love to see any of your Dark Miasma Corruptor builds! Seems to be a set that really shines on Corruptor. Is there a main reason you paired Elec Blast with it? Any other blast sets you feel would pair nicely with Dark Miasma?

Yeah, I will say that Thermal always struck me as a Jack of all trades, Master of none. Still, it has a lot of tools in it's tookit. I just never thought about it for PvP purposes, but after reading a bit more into it... it seems like it could be VERY strong in that area.

I think this looks very promising. I have an Elec/Elec Sentinel which is a fun tank mage, so looking forward to pulling them out again after the revamp. While I think this is going to improve Sentinel's as a whole, does anyone think that any specific powerset combos on a Sent are going to be particularly stronger after the revamp?

I appreciate the thought you put into this Ringo!!! I have an Elec/Elec Sent that is a sapping monster (quite funny really) but I have to be firing things off constantly to keep endurance down on foes. Makes sense since Short Circuit is the only power with -recovery. I was thinking Elec/Kin Corruptor could be really nice as well, but I believe Kin just has the -endurance down and doesn't neuter their recovery. One more QQ for you: How do shocked and scourge work together? If their end is down, am I getting the shocked procs and as their health drops, scourge kicks in? Seems like it could be a nice synergy.
