Best part of a Symphony/Fire perma-dom is the non-stop aoe "Domination" over the heads of all the enemies, then melting them all.

I kind of miss the old days when a TF or Trial would break a team, like the Rollister mission in the old Posi TF, or the old Respec Trials when the team would all be dead watching Sky Raiders or Freaks or Rikti blow up the Reactor, dooming Paragon City and denying you all a Respec yet again... memories and nostalgia, I know. Back then completing the TF actually felt like an accomplishment requiring communication, teamwork, and a little forethought to achieve. These days I just try to stay awake through the whole thing most of the time.

You'll have a thousand people who all feel they are entitled to a popular name, let's say "Death". You'd better believe that they're each the "original owner", that they'll use it better than anyone else including you so just give them the name they want... Why would anyone want such a name in the first place? The best names I've seen are originals, probably made because a player couldn't get the name they really wanted so instead they created a new name for their hero/villain, and it's often an awesome name which has not existed before.

I seem to remember Origin having something to do with it, although that may have more to do with what contacts the Detective will offer after you complete a Safeguard.

Omega Maneuver would kill some teams, people are bad about moving out of the way even when they know impending doom is coming. Case in point Apex TF's blue patches of death.

On a Posi 2 TF in the Oranbega mission, we found the "Portal Room" and we all knew that the Boss couldn't be in there, so we skipped it. After clearing the rest of the map, the Boss(Gasher) was, of course, in the Portal Room...

I play games to have fun. For me, CoH Homecoming is fun. When the game ceases to be fun, I will find other things to do with my spare time. I have nothing against other CoH servers, I've tried a few of them, I just prefer HC. Is it perfect? No. Perfection is a rare thing, occasionally achievable, but often ephemeral. Having lost the game entirely for 7 years makes me appreciate all the more what we have here at the moment. I will continue to enjoy playing CoH here on HC until either it's gone, I'm gone, or I just find better things to do. Someone else's opinions are not integral to my calculus, with respect to time of course.
