  1. Chronologist is for spending time in Ouroboros, right? You can get to Ouro at any level if you go to Echo: Galzy City and click the swirly where the train used to go. Don't know if there's a level limit on the badge, but it is indeed possible to log out there at level 1 oer 2. Recipe bonus at that level would be interesting.
  2. Heraclea was made the first day Homecoming went live. Not exactly as she was on Victory; Victory H was Inv/SS, HC is Inv/DM, and it seems I chose wisely. All I knew at the time was that Inv/DM was tankier. Not many of my HC characters are direct remakes of Victory characters. I had been stewing over too many character concepts in the intervening years. Some are, but there are many more new ones.
  3. I don't have much issues with the veteran rewards. I don't really do 'mains', so my highest veteran level achieved is still at the 10 empyrean merit every three levels point. I generally consider a character 'done' when I have gotten all six of their chosen incarnate powers to t4. I have three characters that have gotten there on Torchbearer: Heraclea, who has a double t4 (Barrier and Ageless); an ice/plants blaster who has full t4 at vet level 23 (main Hami raider); and of course a fire armor brute (DB/fire) who passed Heraclea in veteran levels last month. I have quite a few that are close to full t4 (don't usually prioritize Judgment on a blaster for instance). I will say that veteran powers are much less grindy on HC than they were in the old game. I had quite a few level 50s on Victory (at least 30) and the prospect of getting them all kitted out with veteran unlocks was quite daunting, and made me lose interest in the game before the end. My one suggestion would be to have an intermediate tier of combined empyrean merits below the Transcendent; say, one that needs/converts to 10 instead of 50. My full t4 characters are basically playing for the benefit of alts. My top two don't have 50 in their future any more, especially since I don't do a whole lot of incarnate content. Mailing one empyrean merit to myself means a lot of email sitting around. But I've only achieved enough on one character (the Hami raider) to email myself a Transcendent merit once. An intermediate level would clear up some of the clutter.
  4. Have you tried reasoning with them first?
  5. Who would you fight? Even in most of the regular PvP zones, heroes/vigilantes are one side, villains/rogues the other. Since villains just can't wander into blueside or vice versa, and on a number of occasions when they got in by bug, villains get attacked by police drones and NPCs, there would be no one to fight even if they flagged. The risk of being sucked into PvP is one of the hazards of going to PvP zones. even if you're just there for badges, Shivans, or AVs/Heroes. I remember Twixt.
  6. Not the snipe, please. Among other disadvantages it would make Underground iTrial a pain. And one main purpose of snipes is to take out a single mob without spooking the whole herd. Otherwise I am fine with that. An electric/electric blaster was the first blaster I rolled on HC. This revived a well liked character on Victory. Currently, though, I find the set less than impressive, and I now have blasters I enjoy a lot more (archery/devices. ice/plants, fire/radiation). I respecced out of Voltaic Sentinel, never used it. Endurance drains are overpowered against player characters, underpowered against mobs, and generally take too long to work. They ought to simulate the effects that the drains have on player characters somehow: make the mobs more subject to mez effects would be one team friendly effect.
  7. More scenes from the SPQR base on Reunion: Racetrack. Senate chamber The unassuming entrance of the Wolf's Head. Accomodations for every taste and budget.
  8. Iggy Pop - I Got a Right
  9. Kingston Trio - MTA
  10. Drive By Truckers - Decoration Day
  11. Not really, it's for costumes you think other creators might find useful or interesting, or that you want ti share for others to use.
  12. The whole Apex TF seems to be deliberately hostile to all melee characters, which is why I generally will not join it. Tin Mage is a bit more tolerable, but it's usually run with Apex as a double header.
  13. I try to have a very thick skin and let people play their characters the way they want. On a pickup team I am probably going to be on a melee heavy, so little they choose to do is going to affect me that badly. I did however make the mistake -- once! -- of choosing Banished Pantheon pets for characterization purposes on a lore pet choice. There are several choices there -- BP is the most popular, but Longbow and others are just as annoying -- that IMO should not be chosen. Size matters. And not in the way you think.
  14. You cannot delete rooms if they have any salvage containing containers.
  15. This looks to me like a content problem. Encouraging hyper-specialization is as bad as imposing too many demands on attention or writing melee out of the game entirely, which are also problems with some of the late added content. Revision of the material is what's needed, as I've said before. That stuff should play like the other 98% of the game.
  16. One thing here may be different in AE. Drop avoidance in standard content works towards various badges. But stuff earned in AE generally does not count towards badges: not to mobs defeated, damage given or taken, or inf earned, for instance. Only badges that relate to XP earned continue to accrue in AE. I doubt that you make progress towards drops denied in AE, but I could be wrong.
  17. Brutes got buffed by the same series of patches, especially in team play.
  18. I run many task forces on my leveling characters and also on my level 50s. Anything but Apex, Tin Mage, or Sutter; do not like them. I have a character I use to farm Hamidon, and several I will occasionally run an incarnate trial on; these tend to be ranged DPS or control/debuff oriented, which is not my preference; rather be meleeing. Melee in my experience tends to be written out of incarnate trials, Hamido, and te like, which is why I run lots of exemped down content on my 40s. Three times a week, I farm inf with a DB/fire brute. This is a solo activity because I usually do it during a long medical treatment.
  19. Heaven and Hell - #26231, and Maria Jenkins 'Defeat Infernal'. No observable difference in results between AE content and official content. The AE mish does include a couple official mobs. Infernal is noticeably slower, but this is on account of some of the demons having t9 style shields and self heals.
  20. Some days that I run the missions I use for moneymaking, I also get three purple recipes in the process. Other days I get zilch.
  21. Frank Tovey - Sam Hall
  22. While Torchbearer was out a couple days ago, I finally made a character on Reunion and made a base there. SG name is S.P.Q.R., code is SPQR-5010. Started work on the first scene-room today. Overview of the colosseum: The favorites. The underdogs. VIP seats.
  23. The combo works well enough, but if you are taking Taunt don't roll a female character.
  24. I don't attune ATO enhancements, but I frequently attune PVP ones. The problem I confront is that I have all sorts of IOs at level 50, but I need that Panacea at level 7.
  25. Was not one of those. They usually put you straight into a bank map indoors. This was given by a detective and started outdoors. No waypoint was giveb but when I stumbled into the area I got 'the bank is being robbed'.
