  1. By the way @Nemu, love the idea. I love Bio Armor but it's a lot harder to make it work (safety-wise) on a scrapper (or stalker) than on a brute or tanker. I made an Electric/Bio scrapper about 6 months ago that I forgot about, so I'm doing to put it through the paces and check some things out. I'm really not that into Electric Melee, so I'm going to need to get a feel for some things. Like how much endurance can I realistically expect to leach back from my attacks, which will affect my endurance slotting.
  2. You will be cash-inf negative for a long while, but by lvl 50 you would be way ahead of the game.
  3. A knockdown build without an Overwhelming Force proc and an Avalanche proc in a damage aura? Turn in your knockdown card at the front desk on the way out, you're fired!
  4. Money, yes that's a real issue, but time? It's just pressing a single button? which is part of what makes it such an insidious inf sink! Also, there's a *big* difference between a -3 SO (23.33% enhancement, between a lvl 15 and lvl 20 IO) and a +3 SO (38.33% enhancement, between a lvl 35 and lvl 40 IO). I upgrade to +3 every level, but yes that is very expensive over time. Then again, I'm usually on an IO only build by about lvl 25-30.
  5. If you are going to upgrade every level, I'd say the ballpark figure is something north of $100mm. Probably less than $500mm. I'm basing that on my limited experience with SOs from levels up to about 20, then extrapolating on an increasing number of slots and an increasing cost of upgrade.
  6. I did enough research on the matter that I feel confident that (with respect to conversion) there is no reason to believe that the process is not random or psuedo-random. Sometimes you are gonna flip a coin and get heads ten times in a row. Let me find some examples with data:
  7. I think this is spot on. @Rumors is the first one to be invited over for space eggs!
  8. To OP, it’s not the number of enhancements that are limited, it’s the amount of enhancement that has diminishing returns. So for schedule A stuff (like damage), it is easy to get 70% enhancement. It’s difficult to get 100% enhancement. It may be impossible to get 150% (from enhancements).
  9. You might find this thread useful:
  10. Excellent idea! I would certainly spend 100bn for a space base where I could eat space caviar with my pals. You should post that in the Suggestions forum!
  11. Are you kidding me? Do you have any idea how *difficult* it is to give away vast amounts of inf? Especially when we *literally* tell people exactly how to get all the inf they need, and we give them a fishing pole, and a starter fish? The problem, as far as I see it, is that I enjoy using my brain to accumulate vast amounts of an imaginary item. I'm working on that.
  12. Blatant lies! It is infinitely entertaining.
  13. Looks like I win! Looks like *everyone* wins! Looks like VT loses...
  14. I would be over the moon if they put in any sort of large scale influence sink, but I keep coming back to the same issue I see a lot in the Suggestions forum: it's a fair amount of work on the devs' part, and how many people would it really help? 2? 10? Once you and I are both over 500bn, we should have a winner-take-all dance-off.
  15. Brutes can get 10% melee defense and 12.5% s&l defense from their ATOs; scrappers can get 5% melee defense and 10% s&l from theirs. It's not a world of difference, but it's a difference.
  16. I realize I misspoke and that my Rad/Bio monster is a Brute, so I apologize for that. I find it a lot easier to build defenses on a brute than a scrapper, but the scrapper version will be muy offensive. Here is my brute build: And here is a very quick stab at a scrapper build. I think I'd need to put more work on the defenses before I would commit to this build though.
  17. I'm kind of with you here. I've gotten Jingo Updog Esq. Junior (DP/Ninja blaster) up to level 34, and it's kind of hard to really want to take her any further. Both Dual Pistols and Broadsword/Katana feel to me to be meh sets, and I'm not getting much synergy other than theme (but it's a great theme: a Revolutionary War-era super-patriot). In terms of flash and style, I expect to eventually use The Lotus Drops as a PBAoE debuff/soft control button (Avalanche knockdown, Overwhelming Force knockdown, Achilles Heel -res, Fury of the Glad -res, 2x Nucleolus). That should be entertaining.
  18. Don't forget Dr. G, Paragon City's famous basketball player.
  19. Yes, you can convert lvl 30s back and forth between Analyze Weakness and Shield Breaker. But that's the only level of overlap.
  20. @UberGuy (all hail UberGuy) has done a fair amount of work on this. See this thread:
  21. You know, you can make some pretty great builds with these power sets so long as you really embrace the knockback and disregard the rikti monkeys your teammates.
  22. Huh, interesting! I assume this is on two accounts logged in at the same time rather than listing on one alt, logging off, then logging on on a different alt?
  23. I did not know that and I do not see them listed anywhere in the Merit Vendor. Where are they listed?
  24. That depends on (and I've never tried this) whether or not bids over a certain amount stack. You've noticed that if you have a bid for something and you bid the same amount again, your bid is replaced by a bid for 2x that item. I don't think that works on every item though, and I don't know if you can get a stack to total over 2bn. If not, then 200*2bn + 100*0.999999999bn + 2bn?
  25. Only 999,999,999 inf per email. So per account, you can have 99,999,999,900 stored in email. You have 1,000 character slots per shard for total of 5,000. Each character can hold 2bn, and has up to 200 market slots. Lots. And then you can have an unlimited number of accounts. So unlimited lots.
