  1. I'm happy with the solution to the player problem, but that doesn't mean more exploration of the group can't be done. Actually, even without additional lore I would love to see the occasional Mender show up in regular mission arcs the way Void Seekers do when there's a kheldian on a team. Why are they there? What are they doing? Does it really matter? Just a slim random chance of a time traveler mucking about (or fixing stuff that was already mucked up) with no explanation given. If they're going to be a mysterious group that works with both sides, then I don't see why they couldn't show up on either side.
  2. Add new bosses? Sure. Axe existing bosses? Pass.
  3. Who says you are only going up one floor? You are going up to the next level where the action is, but that doesn't mean you only go up to the next floor of the building. Let's also not forget that the elevators show up and down lights at each floor, indicating that there is more room to go up or down but players are taken to the floor they need to be on. Perhaps it's because there's objectives that in character they know they have to seek or achieve before confronting the end boss, or maybe there are multiple elevators in the building and you need to switch occasionally because of either villain sabotage preventing an elevator from going beyond a certain point or perhaps just mechanical failure not letting you go any farther on that ride. I mean, if we were going to question things based solely on how they appear in game play, then how can we travel up several levels of the building and just exit to street level upon completing the mission?
  4. Is history even applicable when the group exists outside of time and can move through it at will? But more to the point, will we ever get more info about origins of the time travel organization, such as how any of the prominent members were recruited, how they established their HQ, who their enemies are, etc? Or will they forever be a mysterious organization that exists to provide convenient access to the past for heroes and villains alike? I just feel like that "Entrusted with the Secret" badge is all a sham. They aren't trusting us with their secrets at all.
  5. This is why magical transformations are so much better. No costume until you need it, and then it magically appears.
  6. My favorite part of Superman comics is when he flexes his invulnerability so hard that he nearly dies 90 seconds later
  7. They should over-buff regen to the point that it heals you by draining the life of everything around you, including your teammates. A team full of regen players should all negate each other to be effectively as regenerating as quickly as a standard controller.
  8. Morrowind means wind until the next morning. General:Etymology - The Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages (UESP)
  9. How much of any origin does it take to qualify? What if I'm even split 50/50 between Natural (martial arts training) and Science (invulnerability)? I feel like my memory of DOs means the two origins are normally mutually exclusive. What if I have that split and then plan to add the Sorcery pool for a dab of Magic? Which origin should I take? What about a cyborg vampire? Is that Magic for the undead side (with dark melee) and Tech for my cybernetics (that grant electric armor)? Does Science muddy that up with my plans to take the Experimentation pool? There are no clear answers. The system is broken. Just use what you can that feels most right to your character concept.
  10. Adding a belt with interchangeable buckles would be difficult, but I'm referring to the skull that's mounted on the costume without a belt. Why just a skull, why not some other symbols/objects?
  11. We should have multiple aura options, one for head, one for body, one for arms, one for legs, and the travel auras. Maybe also eyes individually from head because I really really want a halo and glowing eyes, but taking a halo pretty much excludes any other auras outside of powers and stuff you can buy with prismatic aethers.
  12. That costume draws attention to her very bright butt.
  13. Like old D&D alignment arguments, I think it should be more of a tool to establish story flavor and not a straitjacket that confines your creative input.
  14. A demon might be magic or natural, but it could also be a mutant demon. What if it's a techno-demon because it possessed a cybernetic enhanced being or was summoned and imprisoned in a completely mechanical body? Science demon, though.....that's where I draw the line. 😜
  15. ELECTROLYTES!! That's what's in the Adrenal Booster
  16. I'm fine with Numina and Citadel. In fact, each of the big 6 after Positron's are fine.....even Citadel.
  17. Synapse and Positron TFs suck. Just copy someone else's homework to get the badge
  18. If you have a futuristic sci-fi ray gun and nothing else but martial arts training, you could call that high tech. If all your force field powers come from a teeny-tiny belt buckle that is the source of your power and you also blast with ordinary pistols, that's all you need to call you high tech if you want. If you have a tech sword and super reflexes, that's all you need to be a high tech hero if you want. Of course, the ray gun example could be natural origin because the person wielding it has no special powers and is just using a single device while also relying on natural skills. The force field example with dual pistols could be a mutant origin in which your power is enhanced physical abilities that let you survive and use your modern and advanced tech. And that tech sword could just look tech and you could be the source of magic origin power which can be channeled through the tech sword and grants you magical reflexes. How much is enough? You decide.
  19. That's not drugs, it's an all natural herbal supplement
  20. I don't use ninja run, but there are vfx on athletic run in the form of faint lines like speed trails behind you when you run. I'd love to be able to have the power on without the fx.
  21. Crossbows as archery (trick arrows, etc) would have to be redone as a new set so that proper weapon choice and animations could work together It isn't like fire blast where you can change the animation or AR or DP where you can move the blast emission point depending on the weapon because you have to change both the available weapon models and the animations, otherwise you would end up with an archery blast set where people could independently select the powerset which sets the weapons and then you pick your weapon, then you customize the animations.....so if I pick archery and a bow and arrow but choose the crossbow animations, it'll just look weird. likewise, selecting a crossbow but keeping standard archery animations will look wonky. maybe they could code it so that the weapon you choose locks out incorrect animations but that sounds like additional work.
