  1. Throwing out for comment: With SOs being available starting at level 2, it makes the low-level IOs -- basically everything below 25 that isn't a global or proc -- significantly worse than SOs. Should the enhancement values for IOs be revised so that they start out more competitive against SOs when they become available at 12, scaling up more slowly with increasing level to the same percentages that level-50 IOs have now?
  2. Actually, it would probably be a tiny bit of work to add the 50k to the end-of-mission reward you got when you went back to Coyote, before he sends you to AP, and similarly for redside and goldside.
  3. If I'm remembering the functionality correctly, it's one of the window commands entered into the chat entry box, not a regular option. Doing some digging, it's the /window_color command -- "/window_color red green blue alpha".
  4. It's the HTML upgrade to the silliness of StUdLyCaPs...
  5. IIRC, the opacity can already be set for each window, although it's not as convenient as a slider.
  6. Sleep? Isn't that just a completely inadequate substitute for caffeine?
  7. The rework that was done on it nerfed it as a hazard zone. You used to be able to hunt Pumicite bosses by looking for the fires on the ground at Pumicite spawns, and the southern part of the zone was a good place to hunt green-con Madness Mages, farming Luck Charms when they were running 30k apiece in the AH, the single biggest expense of crafting the low-level Accuracy IOs. Now, as you describe, the spawns are smaller, and you rarely see bosses.
  8. And this is why I regard the posts in the Suggestions subforum that blithely talk about how great it would be if [insert half-thought-out idea that would require significant effort from a full development team] with a jaundiced eye; for everything the HC staff has done, they don't have the resources that Paragon Studios had, and working on CoH isn't their paying job. Stretching what's already there is one thing, but fabricating large amounts of content out of whole cloth is another.
  9. Particularly when the hour recharge power has been bugged for some time and is a two hour recharge power...
  10. There are some breakpoints in the game you step up to a higher level range for mobs, and the mobs in the new level range get better or different powers. Mobs from the 21-30 group might not have an attack that mobs from the 31-40 group have.
  11. That might take too long, depending on how many flats they bring with them.
  12. And everyone who's saying this needs to be done has just volunteered to be the HC support staff doing all the work of creating the zones, the mobs, the items, the animations, and any new powers for the new content.
  13. Actually, no; Johnny Awesome is trading off some of his reputation, in that he's going to someone else for assistance -- needing the Wetware Enhancer -- and you're increasing your reputation for supplying it to him. It does destroy the anonymity of the AH somewhat for the exchange to work, but it's essentially the same thing as 'cashing in' on your reputation when you bought enhancements from a store.
  14. This was one of the things contributing to my view -- an unpopular one, to be sure -- that AE should not award inf. Inf, by game lore, was supposed to represent your public reputation accumulated from your actions -- how wiling other people were to supply you with goods/services, either out of respect for your accomplishments (blueside influence), fear of what you might do to them (redside infamy), or what you held over them (goldside information). And crawling into your electronic navel, no matter how well you learned to use your abilities doing it, doesn't do squat for your public reputation. You go into the AE building at level 1 and come out at level 50, and no one is going to know you from Adam's off ox -- "I've never heard of you; why should I do anything for you?" And people will object that inf is "just a currency", and that removing inf rewards from AE is nerfing AE (and, I concede, if you're farming AE missions for the direct inf rewards, yes it is), but I still hold the position that getting inf directly from AE missions (as opposed to converting tickets and selling what you buy with them) is contrary to the game lore of what inf represents.
  15. You do need a bit of a setup -- a few minutes whacking the mobs around central AP -- to accumulate the AH listing fee if you're starting a new character with zero resources, but it's a trivial bit of overhead.
  16. IIRC, your last contact is Coyote, who is the one who sends you to AP when you turn in the mission he gave you.
  17. It was also missing when I was playing my Ill/Rad Controller yesterday, so it is wider than just Defenders.
  18. Well, then, change the situation.
  19. I'm just pointing out that there are exemptions in the 'go AFK, get disconnected' logic. Being AFK during an MSR is an issue only after the pylons are down, because the pylons don't give XP; once the league starts hitting the grates, XP starts coming in, and the AFK players can be leeching.
  20. Except that instanced maps don't subject players to the AFK timeout -- the instanced MSR, trials, door missions, and SG bases won't kick idle characters.
  21. There is also the 'standing at attention, arms crossing your chest' pose that you see mostly on Council Equinoxes for a 'standing guard' pose, but is more readily visible in the costume editor for a DP character when you are customizing their pistols -- you get a zoomed-in view with your character's arms crossed against their chest holding their pistols, but that pose doesn't exist as an emote.
  22. <sarcasm> Because, of course, the game requires you to take a travel power at level 4; you're not allowed to pick any other power available to your character, and this cripples every single build in the game. </sarcasm> Seriously, your arm isn't being twisted to take a travel power at all; if you feel that it hurts your builds to take a travel power at that level, then don't.
  23. There are many, but not all, under Model Replacement Costume Powers on the paragonwiki site. Some of them have different names -- the 'Vahzilok Costume' on the page is the 'Doc Buzzsaw Costume' in the Halloween and aether costume lists, for example.
  24. You can always talk to her in Pocket D, upstairs red side.
  25. I'm not sure, but I think that EndRdx in the power only reduces the End cost for summoning them. I know it's true for Recharge enhancements; they only bring the summons up faster.
