  1. This is true - well was true. Back when the game was live I remmeber people asking (when they were single target) to not get the shields o cuz they didn’t wanna be on fire. Now they can just deal with it lol
  2. I think the heal/O2 boost/inspiration use animation makes more sense - like its “waking you up” more than shocking you.
  3. That’s just dumb solutioning. I urge you to consider looking into your problem solving abilities more tactically.

  6. This class combo is incredibly fun . Teleporting mobs teleporting to mobs bouncing mobs etc. gravs always been my favorite but this is a blast
  7. The water poison build darkir made for me on these forums is pretty fun even on a corrupter. I pretty much avoid defenders as a whole, so I just sort of accept the downfalls of corrupter (in favor of scourge just feeling more fun to see)... that being said, it’s primarily water that makes it fun with poison literally contributing poison gas... so it could be any secondary really lol.
  8. I did build this out in game (with a very expensive 1b build oops)... but i don’t think electricity is for me lol it doesn’t lock down enough or fast enough I guess... might respec him to steal the enhancements and move em over to my plant/earth or grav/energy... hmm

  10. 1. Is a meta game problem. They didn’t have enough side effects/ additional effects on powers so they were really easy to min max 4. Is pretty wrong, as most builds take a block power. They’re really strong/ which is really boring for the non min maxxer 6. this was a huge miss... they went from controllers being one of the most unique and loved classes in MMO history (next to Illusionists in EQ really) to useless abilities even if they weren’t horrible to use (too fast paced) which leads into 7: they also neglected buffs as a whole- so their supports became basically “healers” only... I mean my bard character has to spend money to get an item that gave 3% damage just to have a “singing” ability...
  11. -pet levels would be fine if the entire game weren’t played at +2 or +3 etc to playEr level... miserable experience to just constantly revive pets, especially how much end it costs to rebuff them.

I played some in teams with the build last night and it actually was pretty beastly - and did quite well with surviving vs smashing/lethal and in general lol. when you say +5, what does that mean? 6 recharge IOS (murdered like an old man without viagra by ED)? What do you even take out the slots from? I think it’s at 59 seconds with the above build( though I think it’s a display issue - since it isn’t even usable for a good 5 seconds after that? I really enjoyed the build and did take some powers that I like thematically a bit to make it more “me,” though!

  14. I think savage melee feels great, but the sound effects are lacking any real oomph. outside of that, earth assault for doms really does feel powerful. I also will always have a soft spot for sonic blast — scream just feels so good... and back in the day, being a villain and using howl at low levels on the bank vaults was just so friggen cool. i also think electricity attacks FEEL good and smooth. Psychic blasts by comparison just dont have that same flow. the kinetic buffs sound really good; sonic resonance with the knock back makes for a good “ear attack” for your team lol... And I don’t think anything beats wormhole for feeing powerful... you’re a master of space basically and just put things where you please.

Highly recommend you make binds or macros that use the location changes score brought /bind 1 powexec_location me Force Field Generator this removes the ground target and makes ffg just pop on you like it should lol /bind 2 powexec_location target Seeker Drones this makes them go at your target instead of a ground summon etc. Makes traps much more bearable to play...

    AE Farm

    So I ended up with a /fa farmer just to get 'er done -- working on getting some starting money to really farm, but right now I can take up to +3, but I think it takes too long still. Should I bump it down to +1 or +2 and steam roll? Even +2 feels slow right now though I think (I'm working with basic IOs except for the endurance stuff until I get more money)
  21. Why does the AH take Influence when you post it (let's say, 700k for a 14m sale) ; and then take it again when it sells ?? so it ends up being 10% of the total? Is it like "Half down"? lol

    Is there a point to anything other than //fire for AE Farms? Like, If I want to start making some cash lol Also, do any other primaries work for that outside of Spines? Savage or Psi melee?

  25. oh, and why does strangler not boost psy damage like everything else does +all from defiance?
