  1. Looks like just base 28.25 for Nrg/Neg DR before the SR and Reactive Defense scaling DR kicks in. He's also sitting on 305% regen and 2471 2846 HP. (Accolades weren't turned on.) With all that in play, even a +4 autohit fluffy can't dish out enough damage to kill me. All that said, for the Werner rules ITF run I did, I hovered and took out each fluffy one at a time because I didn't want to risk and unlucky death but in normal play, I just hop in and get busy slicing up Rom without concern. Another edit: Apparently I spend so much time ITFing that I've got Cimeroran Citizen on all 3 BZBs. So that's another 3.75% DR to everything, pushing the Nrg/Neg DR to 32% base.
  2. Rularuu are indeed, nasty critters. The chomping sound the eyeballs make still gives me shivers and I distinctly remember testing my SR tank against them at max diff and finding that I had to work REALLY hard to stay alive, but stay alive I did. Then again, I used to meditate by doing laps around the storm palace with my claws/sr scrapper...
  3. Nope. Build for Neg Nrg DR and the autohit fluffy can't do shit.
  4. Ok. Amps expired, did same test. It got scary at one point when I saw health drop to 10% but that was the lowest point over a 30 min period. Generally speaking after 20 mins they don't get me blow 20%. Again, being afk means the tank AT IO +DR proc is not being utilized. 23% health and capped SL DR. 25 mins no death. Immortal line accepted. SR is amazeballs. Anyone thinking otherwise is very mistaken.
  5. Having a "get off my lawn" moment. I've never used anything but a standard wired two button + wheel mouse. Ok, that's not true. Once upon a time the wheel/button 3 didn't exist. That evga mouse sure does look purty, though.
  6. @Werner Ya made me curious. Ran to pocket d, grabbed 1 hour of defense and survival amps, set ITF to player debuffed, enemies buffed, max diff, grabbed aggro cap, set PB to auto and waited. Started at 7pm. Will edit this post with conclusion. Edit 1: Ummmm, maybe I should try it without amps. Edit 2: After 30 mins, still not dead. Will let the amps expire, doesn't look like I can just delete them, and try again later. And, yes @Werner I cap SL DR at around 28% health or so. Edit 3: And that's without the tank AT IO +DR proc in play.
  7. Counterpoint, my SR tank has faceplanted once. And I was very drunk at the time.
  8. Shield/Mace has my favorite taunt animation.
  9. Every SG has one. Ours not only loves dying but takes vengeance on practically everything and wants us to constantly die as well!
  10. This has rapidly become more apparent to me as I've played more tanks.
  11. PLed the new dark/stone tank to 50 yesterday and slotted her up. Had to go vigor for +acc and end-red. She's serviceable but won't be winning any awards on any front. However, there's so much KD/Fear/Stun going on that she's a freakin hoot to watch. Even went tport instead of my goto fly to try out fold space. Gotta admit, that is one damn handy power for aggro control.
  12. Not with the ridiculous damage output they're capable of now. Not even no, or even hell no, but a big whoppin #*($&#($*&#($*& NO.
  13. Shield/Nrg. Crazy safe, sick ST damage, workable AoE damage. That said, for some reason my brain won't let go of wanting to build a dark/stone tanktroller.
  14. Also, chest to the right, waist to the left, hips to the right, shortest legs. ... What?
  15. SR and its scaling resists tilts its head quizzically.
  16. I like taunt auras. Scrapper BZB does kick the crap out of Brute BZB in hard target kill times, but thanks to Evasion's taunt aura on the brute, clear all times get far closer together as shown above. Runners suck. Damn cowards.
  17. You know, end game. That's where you're gathering up all the beer bottles and pizza boxes after everyone else has left the party. To the topic, I've yet to find a situation where even exemplaring all the way down to Posi 1 isn't handled well by a fully tricked out end game build using all the standard end game sets attuned with PvP and Purples +5ed. The actual difference in gameplay is negligible. Early sets are great IF you plan to level VERY slowly. Otherwise, (ingoring all the low level uniques of course,) they're all pretty much useless.
  18. I'm in the shield camp. I was main-lining SR like a proper junkie but the difference in absolute unkillability between it and shield is pretty drastic. And having all that +dam from AAO is freaking amazing. Sure, I have to click AD a lot for the dblstack of DDR, but that's a small price to pay. No, shield needs no buffs.
  19. Mostly being the operative word. Still sucks a butt when your chain has both the long and slow animations. Edit: Style and flow-wise... damage output is quite nice.
  20. But scrappers kick the shit out of both tanks and brutes on single target damage. By a WIDE margin. (Unlike the not nearly as wide margin of brutes vs tanks.)
  21. Either one of the BZB Claws and SR variants or the Fire/Bio Sent. Edit: Or if I feel like showing off the ridiculously broken, the shield/em tank.
  22. On one hand, no, because attacks from scrapper armors have never critted that I can recall and thus it was working as designed rather than an oversight. On the other hand, why should pool attacks crit if damage auras can't?
  23. In my experience, no, it's not worth it to proc out claws beyond the purple proc and one extra or in followup specifically just running a full AT IO set. What you lose from set bonuses has always seemed greater than what you gain in ST damage but I'll admit that my "get off my lawn" way of playing/building characters greatly affects that opinion.
  24. I suspect it was due to how sometimes the game will frell up the chosen difficulty setting if the team lead isn't in zone before someone hops into the mission. Although, the game drops to +0 when that happens. Some folks do like -1 for speed runs but if that wasn't also part of the deal, I don't know what the leader was thinking. For me, it seems like most problems can usually be avoided if the team lead is fully up front during recruitment. If I'm feeling up to running a PUG ITF, I'll always broadcast Max Diff ITF Kill Most lookin for more. It's when folks start whining halfway through first mission that it's too hard that I get annoyed. Max Diff means +4/x8! If ya can't handle the faceplants, ya should have brought a better build.
  25. I'd like to leave it as is specifically because it IS on the nose. "Buy Your Cheat Codes Here!"
